Kissing or just talking?
The cast of Eclipse was seen taking in a Kings of Leon concert on Saturday night in Vancouver, British Columbia where they’re currently filming the third installment in the Twilight series. In case we need any more confirmation that stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are an item – the two were photographed maybe kissing and looking cuddly during the show. It’s hard to tell because the photos are so dark. It’s possible they’re just so close to each other so that they can talk above the noise, but I doubt it:

Pattinson’s profile is visible leaning in dangerously close to Stewart–they could be chatting about the King’s hit Sex On Fire, or they could be making their own beautiful music.
Also visible in the shot, taken inside the General Motors Place, is the now brunette Kellan Lutz, texting away, and Victoria 2.0 Brynce Dallas Howard.

As a Twilight fan, it makes me a little giddy to see Pattinson and Stewart together. It seems kind of inevitable, like they can’t escape this fictional love story that’s captivated so many. Is Kristen toying with R-Pattz’s heart, though, as Kaiser suspects, or is she in it for keeps? I don’t think she’s as much of a player as Kaiser does, and I would guess she’s into Pattinson. I bet that she’s holding her own and isn’t getting all wrapped up in the relationship, as it should be. These two seem like they’re trying to keep things under wraps, but they just can’t help it. There’s not much they can do to hide their hot romance given the public’s interest in them.
In related Twilight news, the cast got to screen the sequel, New Moon, over the weekend. The film doesn’t come out in theaters until November 20, which is kind of a shame because they really should have released it on Halloween. They’re trying to take advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday crowd, but New Moon will be a hit regardless. Twilight grossed over 383 million worldwide.
I have to say that I’ve started watching Twilight’s hottest competition, “True Blood,” HBO’s original series based on series of books The Southern Vampire mysteries, and it’s more mature and a lot more intriguing in some ways than Twilight. I’m starting to root for team Bill over team Edward, but it’s not like I’d skip watching the Twilight films because “True Blood” is so good. I’m looking at Twilight with a different eye though. The stars of “True Blood” aren’t chicken about going public with their relationship, at least.

if they are at a concert then she is most likely leaning in to hear what he is trying to say. They don’t look like they are about to kiss.
As they feed the frenzy of are they dating or not.
Do really care because I’m sure after the whole Twilight Trig of movies are done so is the are we/are we not thing is put to bed too.
I don’t think Kristen is even in the top picture. In all of the other photos you can clearly see her but in that one it’s just blackness. If they were about to kiss in the leaning in photo, there would have been clear shots of the kiss and Kristen would be visible.
“Twilight’s biggest competition” my ass. The first Sookie Stackhouse novel was published in 2001 and a fair few of the books were already out before the first Twilight novel was released. Now I’ve read both series and I swear I always get annoyed when people compare them both. Many parts of the Twilight series seem as though descriptions and storylines were taken from the Sookie Stackhouse books.
The descriptions of the vampires down to their looks and thier skin and they way they talked and the werewolves.
I’m not saying that Meyer copied Charlaine Harris, but people always think the former came first. and the SS novels are WAY better written than Twilight. At least Sookie does not spend half the book “staggering under the intense beauty of Bill”
I’m sure we’ll get the same comparison when the new CW show “The Vampire Diaries” comes out. But again, those books were released years before Twilight.

You should check out the books CB. True Blood is very dark and very mature. The books are more mature than Twilight, but they’re also very funny.

Agreed Laura, I really notice the similarities between True Blood and Twilight, and looked up when the Sookie novels were written a while ago. I too think that there are too many common elements to write off, and that Meyer borrowed heavily from that series. I’m definitely going to read the books now. I didn’t mean that Twilight was first at all, just that you kind of have to admit it’s a juggernaut now and is the larger franchise because it’s about to become a series of films.

The Sookie books are one of the best written vampire novels out there. Twilight doesn’t even compare. I like the Twilight books though, but I take them for what they are, and who they were written for. Those books were written for the teen audience, not the adult.
That being said there are also a ton of teen written books about vampires that are written better than Twilight too.
I read Twilight before it was this huge phenomenom, it was a good book, all of them besides the last one, but I thought the movie was ridiculous. It looked visually horrible, and they missed casting on alomost all the characters. I am not sure why so many people are ga ga over the movie…truthfully it wasn’t done all that well. I hope they do better with New Moon.
True Blood is done really well, it is gritty and funny. It is a well done series with thought put into it. It is based on a very good series of books written for a very mature audience.
One last thing Team Erik all the way!!! Even while I was reading the series I adored Erik!
Seriously, why do I always get the feeling that they need a good bath? These two seem to have the same “glow” 😉 that Lindsey Lohan has.
But good for them if they are dating and want to keep it private. Good luck with that.
I still think Lestat would kick both of these vampire’s arses, but I’ve gotta admit that you guys have got me to want to read these Sookie books you keep referring to.
But no one really care about any of those books until Twilight became so popular, so they still have Twilight to thank for the sudden popularity of vampire stories.
I was thinking the same thing about the lack of hygiene. I know what I am saying is mean, but they just don’t look clean.
sookie books were terrible – just as juvenile writing as twilight. but the series is awesome, thanks to alan ball.

I don’t think they’re dating. I think they’ve been given orders to look like they are, for the sake of keeping the rumor mill hyped up about them and the movies.
They both look like a couple of dirty stoners, and I imagine kissing either one of them would be like licking an ashtray.
I loved the books and I don’t have a problem with the first movie, but them as individuals, out in the real world? I just don’t get the fascination. They’re kinda grody, and who cares who they’re kissing.
True Blood based off the Sookie novels is one of the most addictive and fun shows out there. 10000x better than Twilight.
