Model and actress Milla Jovovich married her longtime boyfriend/partner/baby-daddy Paul W.S. Anderson on Saturday. The bride wore a vintage-style wedding dress that she designed herself, and they were married in the backyard of their Beverly Hills home. Anderson is an English director (he’s done Resident Evil and Alien versus Predator) but he shouldn’t be confused with American director Paul Thomas Anderson, who did Magnolia and is with Maya Rudolph. Paul’s IMDB page says that he’s “sick and tired” of having to explain the frogs in Magnolia, so cut him slack, people! He’s not P.T. Anderson! Milla and Paul are parents to 20-month old daughter Ever Gabo:
Milla Jovovich married director Paul W.S. Anderson in an intimate outdoor ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills on Saturday, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The bride, 33, wore a ’60’s-style mini dress she designed herself as she walked down the aisle in the backyard of the couple’s Spanish-style house, decorated with red and white floral arrangements.
The couple exchanged matching 18k Neil Lane classic gold wedding bands, to go with Jovovich’s 19th century vintage gold engagement ring with colored pink, yellow and white diamonds.
Among the 50 guests in attendance was actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian. The couple’s 20-month-old daughter Ever Gabo was also present.
“They’re a super duper couple,” says Lane of the newlyweds. “They clearly adore each other.”
Before the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception by the pool, where a Spanish guitarist and a female vocalist entertained with traditional Spanish music.
After the ceremony, there was a reception that included entertainment by Cuban musicians playing traditional Cuban drums. The wedding cake was a round, four-tiered white cake decorated with a ribbon.
Jovovich and Anderson, 44, first met in 2002, when he directed her in the box office hit Resident Evil. They welcomed daughter Ever Gabo in November 2006.
“Having a child has completely changed the way I look at my life,” Jovovich told PEOPLE earlier this year. “I don’t worry about my career or what other people think about me. My main priority now is my child and my family.”
As for what the future holds for the couple? “I definitely want more kids!” Jovovich said. “I grew up as an only child, so I’ve always wanted to have a big family. I don’t know what the future will hold, but knock on wood, I hope it’ll bring me a big family.”
The actress can currently be seen opposite Steve Zahn and Timothy Olyphant in the thriller A Perfect Getaway, which premiered on August 7. Anderson’s latest film, which he wrote and directed, was 2008’s Death Race starring Jason Stratham.

It sounds like a lovely, low-key ceremony. I wonder how and why Patrick Dempsey was a guest. Doesn’t that seem random? Milla and Paul met while he was directing her on Resident Evil, and they’ve been together ever since. They don’t seem scandalous in the least, just happy and decent. Congratulations to the happy couple!
In the pictures I saw on DListed she was definitely NOT wearing a 60’s style mini dress. It was a long renaissance style sheath dress. She looked gorgeous.
maybe jillian dempsey is milla jovovich’s make-up artist?
third time a charm, huh mila
Ah I see you added more pics and that is definitely not a mini dress. It really suits her though.
Awww, I wanted to marry Milla! She sure looked beautiful (even though she could have eased up just a touch on the raccon eyes)! I also love what she did with her hair, those tangled chocolate locks with flowers “falling” in them look amazing.
I love her! And what a handsome couple.
so pretty!
I love her to bits. Gorgeous. Still have a huge girl-crush on her in The Fifth Element.
I have a mental block and always get her mixed up in my head with Liv Tyler.
Jesus, Milla. Could you be anymore stunning?
@Zoe (The Other One), I loved her in Fifth Element, too. I was Leeloo last year for Halloween.
That first pic is scary, she´d look more attractive with some weight on her, she looks drawn and tired to me.
Damn his black heart, that’s MY woman !!
I love that dress and I love her. In her interviews she always comes across as so fun and full of energy.
@ Zoe(the other one): I’m so on the same page with you on that! She was my first “girl crush” too LOL!!!! She is so beautiful, talented & just an all around wonderful person! Congrats, Milla!
