I got the chebe fermented rice water for hair growth we featured in June and have used it twice so far. I spray it on and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing my hair in the morning. It smells super minty, which fades after you wash it. I likes how it makes my hair feel afterwards, like it’s softer and stronger. I’ll have to see if it helps stop my hair loss. Here are some more things I’m looking at on Amazon. Not all of these are on sale, just FYI!

I want a Roomba bad and would like a steam mop version as well. I can’t figure out if the roomba mop uses just water or not.
Thanks for pointing out the deals. I’m definitely treating myself to one
It uses water, but does not heat up. I just put hot water in it when I start mine. It works better than I thought it would, but isn’t perfect. For me, with 3 kids and two dogs, I need all the help I can get.
Does anybody have a robovac that they personally recommend here? I have two very small kids and no time for a dog vacuum. 🙂
I recently bought this model from Amazon https://amzn.to/376JRRN
With very small kids, if they’re crawling, you won’t be able to run the robot vac. And you may have toys all over the floor. You’ll end up having to completely clear the floor before you run the vac. My four kids are adults now. I think I would be too stressed with a robot vac when my kids were little.
I enjoy my robot vac “Bob” but it’s a little work to keep the floors and cables clear for Bob to do it’s best work and not get hung up on this and that.
We have a Roomba and its okay-ish with pet hair, but I had a golden retriever and a lab, so we have a TON of hair (just the lab now so its more manageable for the Roomba.) It motivates us to pick up the floor lol. I will say that its not that great a vacuum, obviously – like if I run the regular vacuum it does a better job than the Roomba. But its that it runs for hours and so will go back and forth over the same area so if we just set up in the living room/dining room, after 2 hours the floor looks IMMACULATE, because I don’t normally vacuum for 2 hours, LOL. hope that makes sense. I also have a one story house that’s mostly carpet so the Roomba really has worked well.
We also have that geode set and its fun but some of the geodes are REALLY hard to break open. You definitely need to use a chisel or something similar.
I bought an older Roomba on prime day (you have to empty it yourself and it’s kind of loud) and it works very well on all surfaces. It can be somewhat haphazard -I haven’t done anything with the app as yet -but during its run time, it gets almost everywhere. What it misses, it will catch it the next time. It is very inspirational as far as getting you to pick things off the floor! I am a big fan as it makes the house look so much better on a daily basis. We don’t have dogs, but 2 cats and it is great with hair as well as wood chips and so on from the wood stoves. It’s impossible not to assign emotions as it backs up to determinedly make a run at the angle iron that surrounds the tiles under the stoves, or sadly gets stuck between boot trays, or happily goes around and around on a dirty spot all pleased with itself!
I was gifted a Roomba knock off, an ionvac and it’s wonderful. I can program it to run from my phone, it also has a remote and it’s amazing how much it picks up. The only negative is that it gets caught up on floor grates and wires. I’m buying googly eyes to stick on it.
Haha! That’s a great idea 😃
Ahhh I just clicked on the lipstick advent calendar and it’s unavailable! Booo
I love my Roomba and would go back and rescue it in a house fire. LOL. We have two dogs and run it every day, and it makes a huge difference in how clean our house stays.
These lists are soooo soothing. My happy place.
I have the roborock and it is amazing – picks up everything the vacuum leaves behind. I can run it right after cleaning and get almost a full bin. So now I just run that and do something else until it finishes, then mop. It also mops but it’s more of a swiffer so with a dog, and 5 and 6 year old boys, mopping is still necessary!
I’ve been debating a Roomba for a while, and then always change my mind. My house is old and has been added onto a few times, and there’s a tiny step at each addition.
But my God, the cat hair. I vacuum almost daily and can’t keep up, so I’m giving it a try. Since I’m working from home now, I can rescue it if it gets stuck at the step.
I always get the National Geographic kits for my nieces and the love them so much.
My 11 y/o niece wants to be a paleontologist when she’s older, so any kits that required her to excavate anything is always a huge hit for her!
Same! I’ve bought several of the Nat Geo kits for nieces and nephews. They’re always a big hit (pun intended)!
