    Macron is an Ahole. So yep, have fun ahole! Ta-ta! Btw I like Isla Fisher’s dress, please Keen one, don’t ruin it for me.

    • LadyAnne says:

      Was about to comment the exact same words. This is karma for tear gassing and beating your people, taking away our liberties and selling our country and our values to the richest.

      • Sarah says:

        Just saw a meme about him testing positive for covid and Islamaphobia. Not wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

      • theothercleo says:

        @LadyAnne:I also like that he was having dinner until 1 AM with a lot of other politicians yesterday,like seriously Emmanuel you don’t remember the reason why we have an 8 PM curfew,are not supposed to meet a lot of people and can’t go to a restaurant? If you really need to have meetings late in the evening use Zoom like everyone else.
        @Sarah:So true.

      • candy says:

        I guess that’s the thanks he gets for trying to jump start the French economy. You might *gasp* have to work 35 hours a week with great benefits. @Sarah your accusations of Islamophobia demonstrate a deep misunderstanding of France’s religious (secularist) laws. Plus, Macron can’t continue to ignore fringe extremists. These sentiments remind me of the same anti Hillary rhetoric that got Trump elected. You will get le Pen if you can’t see the benefits of moderate thinking.

      • theothercleo says:

        @Candy:Actually many french people thinks exactly like Sarah and believe it or not some of them actually understands la loi de 1905. Also,last time I checked nominating an homophobic rapist with far right-wing ideas as the minister of interior was not necessary to “jump start the french economy”. It might be time to realize that “you’ll actually get Le Pen” if you don’t support the president every moves is not a powerful argument,it’s actually the one thing you say when you don’t have a lot of positive things going on for your candidate. Especially when said candidate is trying to pass security laws that Le Pen is going to LOVE if she’s elected.

      • LadyAnne says:

        @Candy Are you French? Do you have any idea about what the French values stand for? I’m entitled to my political opinion, as a French citizen living in this very difficult time in France, and you’re entitled to yours, but don’t school me on how I’m supposed to use my rights as a citizen – and if you’re not French, mind your own country’s business. Cheers.

      • LadyAnne says:

        @theothercleo : spot on!

      • candy says:

        “Many people” thinking something doesn’t make it right. @LadyAnne I am French, although I shouldn’t have to justify myself to you in the context of my citizenship. Isn’t that the root of what you’re arguing anyway? You twisting my comment into supporting Macron’s “every move” is quite a creative interpretation. And if you’re truly worried about karma, you probably shouldn’t rejoice in someone’s COVID diagnosis.

      • Mel says:

        @Candy he’s not jump starting anything except for corporations and shareholders. The middle class is thinning out. Also, it might be high time somebody offers something better than « let’s stop Marine ». The numbers show that tactic is also dying. Let’s not pretend he doesn’t pander to her electorate when he needs to. Why the F do we need to talk about « tenue républicaine » at the moment? They keep waving that little flag whenever they need a distraction. Did he say something when Darmanin spoke about Halal food? No. He hides in his ivory tower and lets the others do the dirty work. But silence is complicit. He IS the president. It’s his job to keep them in line. If they step out, I guess it’s because they know that on some level, they have his support.

      • Larisa says:

        @LadyAnne
        asking someone to mind their country’s business and not talk about yours is not exactly a powerful argument either.

  2. Mel says:

    And…I will just like all your posts and leave that there!

  3. Seraphina says:

    I think Isla looks great in the dress and owns it. I could see this being eyed by Kate, but it would wear her. It reminds me of when a friend of mine borrowed a dress from in highschool. Very Sister Wives looking dress. My mom said (after seeing her in it): wow, I really liked that dress on you but your friend makes it look terrible. Kate can never rock an outfit.

    • Becks1 says:

      The color looks great on Isla. I cant get a real opinion on the dress without seeing her standing, but I like how it looks in the picture. And like you said, she owns it. You need to have a certain sense of style and attitude to pull off these dresses (without looking like a sister wife) and Kate does not have that.

    • Wendy says:

      true – I don’t think Kate generally rocks anything. No charisma at all. Strangely, I find when she wears Megan inspired outfits (like wide legged pant suits) she looks pretty OK. Too bad she didn’t take someone with taste with her when she shops. Or – maybe just an honest person who will give honest advice.

  4. Jules says:

    I can’t take Katie Holmes seriously when she dresses like this.

  6. Thirtynine says:

    Love that dress on Isla. Absolutely perfect. I’m curious as to what it would be like if we saw her standing up. It looks super long, and she is tiny- would she look swamped in purple polka dots? No matter- I love it.
    Gloria Gaynor doing ‘I will survive’- one of my all time favourites.

  7. Veronica S. says:

    The fact that we’ve yet to see a single major celebrity or world leader die of COVID has been very telling about how this has broken down to the haves and have nots of industrialized nations. I don’t want Macron to die, obviously, but it’s kind of a shame that my first thought is, “He’ll get care few others have access to, so why worry?”

  8. Perlimpinpin says:

    Those rejoicing in anyone having covid sink to trumpian lows…..

  9. NEENA ZEE says:

    Katie’s clothes always seem to have the wrong proportions, like she’s dressing herself out of someone else’s closet. It wouldn’t really matter if she hadn’t made a serious run at trying to be a fashionista/designer… Holmes & Yang, anyone?

  10. manta says:

    Poor Macron? For real? The guy is a pretentious moron always certain to be the smartest person in the room .
    Jupiter ( the moniker the wonder boy chose for himself) ans his minions, for months, have talked down to us as if we were dumb and guilty for the increased loadwork for carers.
    Basically, anyone getting ill was a mindless idiot who didn’t follow rules.
    Hope that comes to bite him in his pompous a$$.
    I’m sure that during his isolation he’ll find time to watch all these pictures, videos of him constantly touching his mask ( when he’s wearing it that is) hugging other leaders, shaking hands (Gurria from the OECD just a couple days ago) and to eat some humble pie (he won’t).
    And if that’s what he does in public, I can only imagine the type of respect he has for rules behind closed doors.

    • Marion says:

      Thiiissss!!!!!!!!
      We have been schooled for MONTHS about being not responsible enough! Wear your mask, get over yourself if you’re not pleased with the situation, you’re so selfish if you want to be more than 6 around the table …
      What do THEY do? The exact opposite! He’s just kissing, hugging and mingling…
      They have nothing but contempt for us and really don’t care.
      And they sure have a different vision of lockdown than us…
