Well, I also agree with Kanye that Beyonce’s video is far, far superior to Taylor Swift’s. “Single Ladies” is one for the history books. Taylor Swift’s is just OK. Kanye’s mistake is not thinking that, nor is it that he expressed it. It’s the time and place. It’s not Swift’s fault the judges handed her a win. They knew Beyonce was going to win Best Video so they threw Taylor a bone. She’s 19. She has great marketability. They’ve got a potential 3-10 years to make $ with her. MTV is business first, art second. It’s to be expected. If Kanye wanted to express that, he should’ve come down on the judges during an interview after the show, not stolen the spotlight from a sweet 19 year old girl at the dawn of her career.

Beyonce’s Single Ladies video was hardly ground breaking just another ass shaking routine that she always does for a crappy song, so I don’t know why Kanye got so worked about it, I suppose he was just looking for free publicity and nothing else. As for Jay Z, why people give so much importance to what he has to say I will never know, to me he will always be Beyonce’s husband.

Most people learn in elementary school how rude it is to interrupt people, let alone someone who is being recognized and awarded.
