Brad Pitt hasn’t had an official girlfriend since his thing with Nicole Poturalski, aka Nico Mary, ended last fall. The Nico situation actually blew up in his face in a pretty big way. He thought he was getting a quick PR hit with a “young Angelina Jolie look-alike” on what would have been his fifth wedding anniversary. He took Nico to the Chateau Miraval and his team leaked details to all of the usual suspects, so it was definitely intended as a “hot hookup” story to keep Brad looking desirable and cool. The problem? Nico is married to a much older man and she’s in an open marriage. Plus, she definitely had a whiff of “thirsty Instamodel” about her, all of which led to Brad looking foolish, old and like the kind of gross older man who “shares” a woman with her husband. Team Pitt had to do some quick cleanup on that story and they haven’t bothered to put him with someone else in months. But this new story definitely feels like an impending Girlfriend Rollout! Apparently, Brad is interested in Andra Day.
It’s been a good week for Brad Pitt who was awarded joint custody of his children following a bitter divorce battle with his ex Angelina Jolie. And there could now be a new romance on the cards for the Hollywood heart – throb – after he was said to have swapped numbers with actress and singer Andra Day at the Oscars.
Andra was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of legendary songstress Billie Holiday in the biopic The United States vs. Billie Holi – day, while Brad presented a gong at the bash.
An insider tells me: “Andra has been on Brad’s radar for a while.”
And she definitely turned Brad’s head at the Oscars, and the various precursor awards, as somebody to watch.
“They were flirting backstage and are believed to have swapped numbers. It could be just professional, but some of Brad’s pals have been talking about what a great couple they would make.”
Run Andra! Please don’t do this! Ignore his calls! He’s trying so hard to be the Cool Guy poseur and he would love to have a cool, beautiful, Oscar-nominated woman as his girlfriend. Did y’all know that Andra is 36 years old? I thought she was, like, 27 years old? Anyway, at 36, I would hope that she knows better than to get involved with Brad’s whole mess. Maybe it really was just a professional thing – Brad’s production company, Plan B, is churning out award-winning films and I’m sure Andra would love a part in one of those movies. But just say “no” to becoming the new Nico Mary.

@Snuffles … Actually, Brad dated Robin Givens ‘post’-Mike Tyson. Rumor has it that they stopped seeing each other after Mike confronted Brad about sleeping with his ‘wife,’ even though they had split and Robin had filed for divorce. The divorce hadn’t yet been finalized when Tyson confronted them (I think I recall the rumor that Robin was there when it happened).
Robin Givens and Brad met when Brad had a guest starring role on the hit sitcom “Head of the Class” (1986 – 1991). Robin was a co-starring cast member of the show. By all gossip accounts at the time, the chemistry between the two on set was crazy-intense and the affair (sex) was hot and heavy between Brad and Robin. I bet it was … they were both hot as sh$t in 1989.
What does Givens have to do with anything here?

I read a bunch of interviews with her and came away impressed. She doesn’t suffer fools and has a pretty clear sense of purpose. I don’t see her in a transactional relationship (unless she wants to be).

Did he really win joint custody? I thought Angelina was okay with joint custody from the beginning? Weren’t they actually fighting over visitation (time and supervision)?

And I still cannot phantom how Team Pitt is still trying to market him on the sexy-boy label: he’s no Jack Nicholson. He’s a man in his late fifties and a successful producer – market that: “Pillar of Hollywood, dedicated to the industry, double breasted suits, solidity”
He must be driven by his vanity to still want to be seen as the hot thing. What an empty person.
I will never forget when Pitt was doing PR for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, trying to sound young by talking about how he and Leonardo DiCaprio were freaking out over Luke Perry and Pitt literally stated “he was that icon of coolness for us as teenagers!”
Brad Pitt was born *three years* before Luke Perry.
He is definitely Jack Nicholson, in that he has the same creepy pervy old man vibe about him.
Nicholson Is very good actor. When all else failed, he could fall back on that. Pitt isn’t a good actor. He got a pity Oscar for showing his abs while Di Caprio and Robbie carried the movie.
He’s never hitting that. Girl’s got too much going for her. Like all women, she was most probably just being polite when confronted by a very pushy male. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have daddy issues.

He is 57 and historically a creep, girl RUN!! Plus I feel like he’s just such a user? After he stopped dating outright teenagers he just used women to project whatever persona he thought was relevant at the time. With Gwyneth it was to get in with the very Hollywood establishment right at the rise of Miramax (also she was like 20/21). With Jen, at the height of HER fame, it was very luxe adult and high brow art/architecture. With Angelina, also at a high trajectory of HER fame, it was zomg worldly travelers with multicultural brood and much charity very wow. Also ragging on how his previous life with Jen was so empty and shallow and his life now was sooo much better and meaningful. Whatever persona is next will just serve to rehab his image in whatever way he thinks is current. Yeah I know he dated Robin Givens way back when (at a vulnerable time for her might I add) but I get the feeling he literally brainstorms with his team all day about his image and what moves to make next. Now it’s time to date a black woman to “prove” idk that he’s not a loser deadbeat with major issues and seem relevant and woke.
