Fresh off of last week’s National Enquirer article about Mel Gibson’s cold feet about marriage, his pregnant girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva told Britain’s GMTV that they “haven’t spoken” about getting married. Oksana was in London to promote her album – and now she’s looking really pregnant, isn’t she? Guess she wasn’t faking it after all! Anyway, the Enquirer has been reporting for months that Mel and Oksana both felt strongly about getting hitched right after the baby was born. Mel isn’t officially divorced yet, but he and his ex Robyn are allegedly in the final stages of negotiations. I guess the idea was that the divorce would be final by December, and they could have the wedding then. Now it looks like we may never see Crazy Mel and Oksana walk down the aisle. I think I’m going to shed a tear with this one:
Mel Gibson’s girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva might be a mom-to-be, but she’s not a bride-to-be.
Grigorieva, 39, dismissed marriage talk on British TV early Tuesday. “Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever,” she told the morning show GMTV. “I haven’t thought about it – we haven’t spoken about it.”
Instead, she is focusing on having a healthy baby. The child – which will be Oscar-winner Gibson’s eighth and her second – is due in December. The singer says she is much calmer about her pregnancy this time around.
“I have a 12 year old, so I’ve been a mother for 12 years – and of course, there is no first time mother’s trepidation as such,” Grigorieva said. “So naturally it’s more relaxed, and I’m very dynamic so the pregnancy falls into my work schedule.”
That work includes promoting her music around the world.
The December birth will cap a whirlwind year for Gibson, 53, and the classically trained pianist. In April, the actor’s wife of 30 years, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce and later that month he and Grigeorieva made their first public appearance as a couple.

Part of Oksana’s media tour to promote her album has been working – on me, at least. Because I find Oksana to be slightly sympathetic – I truly feel for anyone who is going to be tied to Mel Gibson for any length of time. Of course, I still think Oksana is a piece of work. Previously, Oksana has denied wanting to walk down the aisle – of course, she also made it sound like their relationship just “happened”: “It’s not like I was planning to meet Mel specifically. Life happens. There was a working relationship for a long time. I thought he was happily married until I was reassured otherwise. And then it happened…Marriage? I don’t know. If it happens, I’ll tell you. We’re just very happy. He’s an amazing man.” I tend to believe Oksana when she says that she’s not thinking about getting married right now. I think that if she just wanted to settle in to the life of a trophy wife, she wouldn’t be so concerned about her musical career. That, plus she knows Mel will eventually want to marry her because of his religious beliefs.
Kind of hard to marry a man who is currently married.
She is playing the “I am just not that into him card” when you know the old goldigger is getting her Lee Press on Nails deeper into him every day and desperately nagging him to put a fork in his current union with Robyn. Way to try and make the world and Mel think that you are secure and not greedy.
And she knows that career or no career taking off, she’s “all $et”. So, no need for the (cash) cow when you’re getting the milk free.
Mel is an abomination.
I’m calling shenanigans over here. The hell she’s not looking to be married to him, unless she’s gotten him to put together a contract for her that promises her X amount of dollars for her and the baby. If she’s getting money already, and guaranteed for the rest of her life, I can maybe see her not wanting to tie herself down to a piece of shit like Mel.
No, she is not interested in a legally binding relationship that could give her 50% of whatever Mel keeps from his divorce if she plays her card rights, but you know things happens. Because she did not plan to fall in “love” with Mel Paycheck Gibsom.
Is it safe for a women who is 6 almost 7 month pregnant to be travelling to another country? Especially for a women with her age , she is almost 40 and the risk increase.

QB — as long as it’s okay by their doctor, pregnant women can fly up to their 36th week, though some doctors restrict all travel after 32 weeks. Airlines may have their own guidelines, too, but flying while pregnant isn’t a huge no-no if she has a healthy pregnancy, regardless of age.
They both have children and the know how babies are made. She planned this and she will marry him to make sure she gets an even bigger slice.

I’ve made many nasty comments about Oksana on several posts, and I stand by every one of them, as I think she’s a manipulative skank. But after re-reading some of these items and their comments I’ve come to a new conclusion: she’s crazier than Mel! She seems to live in a fantasy world! Isn’t it possible that she truly believes that she has a music career and a work schedule and is destined to make art with her visionary sugar daddy? Maybe that’s part of his initial attraction to her…she’s the exact opposite of responsible, down-to-earth, reality-based Robyn.
@MGD…I doubt Clive Davis is richer than Mel and, unfortunately for Oksana, he, like David Foster, is sane and works with people who have actual musical talent. Too bad Oksana didn’t get to Paul McCartney before Heather Mills! (but I don’t want to slam Heather…at least she had the class to wait until after the wedding to get pregnant!)

Yeah, 5 month marriage to get a British passport. You can read about it in the british papers, although they say there is no evidence(?) she married Nicholas Rowland to get it. Total B.S. – her visa was expiring and she was looking for ways to stay.
“Love” bloomed very fast – Oksana is a very fast worker, and her greatest talent is, how she finds this older guys (Rowland was something like 18 years older/she was 22, Dalton is 25 years older and Mel 14)and then gets what she wants from them. Rowland/british passport, Dalton/access to the entertainment industry and Mel for money, “fame” and her “music” career.
NO morals, just blind ambition and greed.

You dont get a british passport so fast, the rules are very stricked.
You get a permanet authorisation to stay first. It takes that you have a work in the UK or have been asking for citrizen ship for 5 years, or are married to someone who can prove that he can support you financialy and with housing. European Unions rules.
Back in the 90’es it was different.
She did married Nicholas Rowland to get it, but it took 2 years with him in order to get it, and then she left him.
Youc ant ocem to the UK and get a british passport in 5 months! If it was like that, all foreigners from all countries and from eastern EU will fly there!
People stay in refugee camps for years, so no, you dont get it after 5 months.
Yes UZI she is trying to found a way to get american citizenship now. Her contract at Icon record, and adress at a house that she dont have to prove she can pay for the rent, as its without rent, is also a way to can extend her US visa. She needs to have an official regular income to can stay longer too, and she get it from Mel as well, and must have make a contract when making the album to get it for a year.
Thats whow she prolonged her visa for a year, and hope to get a kid, this way she will give birth in the US and get automatic citizenship. She checked things out.

She married first to go to moscow and have a free place to stay there, then in England to get the british citizenship, and then to gain access to special places, then stayed with a man who had a lot of contacts in the right circles and introduced her to Dalton, then she get pregy fast and lived with Dalton, then tried someone with more money when Daltons popularity begin to go down, and a string of other men, then settled on David Foster while still livign officialy in London with Dalton, and another man who had money as well, and came to meet the people who could introduce her to Mel Gibson.
Each time she introduce herself to a man with money and influence, she brings forth her ticket of “Russian pianist” and “photomodel”.

And if they were “truly in love” why didn’t he divorce Robyn sooner? I do believe in love, but not in this case. IMO this relationship began as lust — Oksana was his mistress, remember? — and right now is all about the baby. Mel may be forcing himself into “love” because of the situation, but I doubt those feelings will last.

The tabloids and web sites were “on” to the pregnancy, and once Robyn filed for divorce even lame, publicist-kiss-ass media outlets like Entertainment Tonight and People were after a “scoop.” I think the public would be more apt to give her the benefit of the doubt if it weren’t for her history as a golddigger and opportunist, some of which is mentioned in this thread, and if she really did have some sort of legitimate career. Oksana is working hard promoting an album that exists only in her and Mel’s mind. It’s what’s called a vanity project, and the fact that Oksana’s interviews are taking up space that could be promoting real singer/songwriter/musicians is an insult to true artists!
well…he messed up not using protection, and i’m sure she decided not to take her pill…he was playing with fire all this time and got caught…although the birth date is off if he said she was in her second trimester when he told his family..in april…this is such a soap opera..the dna will tell…and i think he will pay child support and have an open relationship if it is his…..mel is mel, so many women, so little time probably is his motto……we haven’t heard anything more about robyn or the divorce in a long time…..is it done?
