Britney Spears is getting promotional boxes from other celebrities and she’s showing off an engagement ring while getting Starbucks, the world is healing. The Daily Mail has exclusive photos of Britney’s maybe-engagement ring which you can see on their site. She was seen reaching for her Starbucks at the drive through with her left hand, she wanted us to see it. Even if she’s just stunting, I’m happy for her. Britney said in her first testimony in court that she wanted to get married and have another baby and I hope she’s on her way to that. She’s been with Sam Asghari for five years. He seems like a decent guy and a good partner to her.
The last we heard, Britney was able to hire her own attorney, Mathew Rosengart. Rosengart spoke to the press yesterday and said that he’s trying to have her father removed from her conservatorship. He is currently the only conservator of her estate. That would leave just Jodi Montgomery as the conservator of Britney’s person. Jodi has said that Britney doesn’t want her to step down but we’ll see how long that lasts. Here’s more of what Britney’s lawyer said:
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Rosengart — whose firm has represented celebrities including Steven Spielberg, Sean Penn, Ben Affleck and Eddie Vedder — said that he is working “aggressively” and “expeditiously” to remove Britney’s father Jamie Spears from her conservatorship.
“First, I once again want to thank Britney Spears for her courage and for her strength,” Rosengart said in video footage shared on Twitter. “I want to thank Judge [Brenda] Penny for her courtesy welcoming my firm and I into this case. And I also want to thank Britney Spears’ fans and supporters. The outreach and support for my firm, myself, and most importantly, Britney, has truly been overwhelming.”
“Finally, and the last thing I’m going to say about this matter, is as I said in court last week, and outside, my firm and I are moving aggressively and expeditiously to file a petition to remove Jamie Spears unless he resigns first.”
I guess the question is whether Jamie will resign willingly as Britney and her attorney are asking or whether he’ll go down kicking and screaming. There’s a lot of money at stake but also a lot of public pressure so it could go either way. I hope that Britney gets control of her life soon and that she’s able to get engaged and married. Also I hope we get wedding photos!

YESSSSSS Britney get your life!! This makes me so happy. May she have a happy marriage and a healthy baby and anything else that will fulfill her.
The “boyfriend” is a paid handler and probably abuses her when she steps out of line. The IG she has up is fake and she is not the person posting – the pictures are all very old and are recycled and put back up. There is an IG under the username of HouseinHabit that has put together a huge amount of information and if you will read that you will understand why I am posting this. Britney is in danger – her attorney needs to get working on this now and get her out of there.
There has been no evidence Sam abuses her. Please stop infantilizing an adult woman.
I understand the concern about his motivations, as plenty of people have seen Britney as a piggy bank in her life. But she is an adult who has the right to pick her own partners, and throwing around abuse allegations when there’s no evidence or claims from Britney herself is irresponsible.
If true congrats but it would not surprise me if she was trolling the press and her father/management.
Brit is a fit beautiful woman and it bugs me that the paps and media keep publishing unflattering photo’s of her.

Really?? Not allowed at all? I would hope it would be for a legit reason and not out of pettiness, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is just another way to control her.

I hope she gets what she wants! If she wants to get married and have more kids, let her. I think that is her plan and I hope she gets it. Her fiancée seems to really care about her. I suspect a lot of her actions back in the day were drug related. Even if she does have mental health concerns I say let her still live as normal a life as possible
Apparently she didn’t do recreational drugs, at least not in the beginning. She was forced to take prescription amphetamines and I don’t know what else by her management. this is according to a personal trainer/friend who was close to her before the conservatorship.
I don’t buy that. Immediately after her divorce from KFed, she was hanging with Paris Hilton & Lindsey Lohan. And I remember in one of her early custody fights (pre-conservatorship, I think), the judge commenting on her drug abuse. But that was over 13 years ago, so hopefully she doesn’t fall back into those patterns. I’m in the minority here – I don’t think she looks well in the stuff she posts to her own instagram, and I think her boyfriend is not a good guy. But I also never thought her father should be her conservator, so I don’t know what the right answer is.
Yes, by the time she was clubbing with Paris and Lindsay, she had started her meltdown and was drinking. But before that, she was being fed prescription drugs by her management. She was worked so hard that she was collapsing from exhaustion and they were forcing amphetamines on her to “wake” her up. All of this is according to her former personal trainer Sean Philip who recently gave an interview about his time with her in the aughts. He said he never saw her take any recreational drugs and he thinks this was a narrative put out by her father to discredit her and gain more control over her. She was becoming increasingly paranoid which can be a side effect of amphetamine use —amphetamines she became addicted to, which were forced on her by her team.

There is a lot of money at stake. And it is all Britney’s money.
Whatever the size of the estate now, it is going to explode once she is free and able talk. Book deal fees will be astronomical. Any album she decides to put out or show to put on will sell in seconds. EVERYONE will be vying for her involvement and willing to pay top dollar.
Her father is a cruel and controlling leech. The fact that he screamed “I am Britney Spears now” soon after the conservatorship was put in place tells us exactly how entitled he feels to steal her life. He will never step away willingly. Never. I hope they destroy him the way he tried to destroy her.
Hopefully, getting Jamie out is made easier by the fact this entire conservatorship is supposedly ‘voluntary’.

Her care team has also said that getting him out is in Britney’s best interest. Given that this entire farce is supposed to put her best interest first and foremost, I can’t see how the judge would let him stay.

I hope that Britney is finally set free and that she Sue’s every single person that used her and took her money for their own interests! The attorney she had should be disbarred as well!
And if he is removed as conservator, he won’t be able to use her money to defend himself when she takes him to court for conservatorship abuse.
Does anyone know why the hearing was adjourned for a week, if in fact a reason is necessary?
My understanding is that it is to give her new lawyer time to get up to speed on the facts of what has gone on.
I don’t know but adjournments are very easy to get. One of the sides requested it, but it’s not unusual at all to ask for or get an adjournment. What’s unusual (a little) is that it’s just for a week.

My question is whether they got all dressed up to get vaccinated or are they out and about somewhere because they’re vaccinated? Either way I’m loving it and the more I read about how she’s been treated the angrier I am on her behalf. I am so pleased she finally has a truly independent lawyer on her side.

I don’t know anything about this guy and obviously don’t know any of the parties involved. What I also don’t understand is:
1. How did he meet her when her every move/visit to the gym is controlled and watched?
2. How did he get Jamie’s approval to date her? did he apply, like a job?
3. Were/are their conversations monitored? What if he said or did something that wasn’t Jamie approved?
4. did he sign an NDA?
5. Is *he* afraid of Jamie? while it may be less now, at one point Jamie had complete control of who Britney saw, talked to, etc. if she can’t even have a cell phone..?!
Well, you may be right, and I may be wrong, but I hope for Britney’s sake that he does truly care for her, and isn’t just a good actor.

It’s pretty awful. They all fight at each other, quote tweet and trade barbs.
No doubt many have done a lot to bring attention to her horrible conservatorship, but some are just riding the wave.
My point, I guess, is she just gets used over and over and I feel so badly for this woman.
Over a decade gone from her life, her kids kept from her.
And I agree with the above poster: her “bf” is hired by her father, and is in it for the .. whatever he’s getting from it.

My major concern is her wish for a baby. She has already stated that she is under care of physicians and pharmacists due to her medication regimen. Hopefully one of her trusted medical professionals will point out how certain classes of medication could affect a fetus. Reproductive counselling is pretty common and should be made available to her.
If she has an affect disorder (bipolar, ect) there are medications she can be switched to that don’t harm the fetus.
Different drugs effect different trimesters.
It can be done safely, I did it twice, my sister and a friend of mine did it.
The nice thing about pregnancy is if you have an affect disorder the natural hormones usually make you feel really good and you don’t have issues.
The problem is PPD and PPA so you need a good team to make sure you anticipate those things post birth.
Usually you have about 2 months after birth of free time before PPD and PPA can show up.
And we are much more likely to get them and it’s much more severe.
That’s between her and her doctors. It’s not up for public discussion whether or not it’s “okay” for her to have another baby. If she wants another child, she has plenty of access to medical experts.
And plenty of women with mental health conditions have babies and are excellent mothers.
I just hope that she gets control of her life back, and can just enjoy being a normal wife and mom.
No idea if this guy is a little sketch – at her level of fame and wealth we would question anyone I think.
For what it’s worth he seems like a decent partner to her, but even if he’s not, she’s entitled to make her own decisions! Everyone is allowed mistakes – her mother married an alcoholic abuser, her sister got pregnant at 16, and no one has tried to control them!

It seems a little hinky that she may soon be able to access all her money, and then getting an engagment ring. It’s not like she never surrounded herself with people wanting to use her. I don’t think her father should be her conservator. But only because it is screwing with their family relationship. Everyone keeps coming down on her dad. Based only on what Britney has said. And Britney is manic depressive. It’s not like she never lies. Maybe the judge know more than all of us.
How do you know she is manic depressive? I thought an official diagnosis was not revealed to the public? Anyway, I don’t trust this guy. There was an article on blind gossip and many thought it was about him. If she ever gets married again she needs a prenup.
