Brandi Glanville is all over the tabloids this week thanks to her anything-goes attitude towards discussing her ex Eddie Cibrian and his girlfriend LeAnn Rimes. In Touch Weekly wrote about Brandi’s recent trip to Las Vegasin glowing “post-split revenge” type language, making the point that Brandi looks really gorgeous. I have to say – I do think Brandi is a really pretty woman, and if I’m judging Eddie Cibrian on the attractiveness of his partners, I’d have to say he traded down with LeAnn. But I don’t really think that’s what it’s about for Eddie. First of all, the guy can’t keep it in his pants. Second of all, he’s not just with LeAnn for her looks, he likes her money too. Anyway, here’s In Touch’s impression of Brandi:

Getting away meant escaping her new neighbor – LeAnn Rimes, who’s reportedly moved in with Eddie just blocks away from her older son’s school.
Brandi says: “I’m just worried about the neighbor around the corner… We’ve already had a couple of run-ins, so it’s just really taxing. She wants my life, she wants my kids, and she wants my husband. She can have mostly everything, except my children and my family. You want my husband, take him!
Eddie’s rep says, “Eddie has a house close to his kids and he lives alone. He believes he is being sensitive and respectful to the situation.”
Brandi claimed to an insider at the party that LeAnn recently got her cell number and started texting her about her parenting skills.
“Brandi fears that LeAnn is angling to take her kids,” says the source.

Yikes. Sounds like Brandi wasn’t really letting her “sly smile and killer body” do all of the talking. But as I’ve said before, I’m more forgiving of Brandi’s stuff because all of the divorce stuff is still very much on-going. Until everything gets finalized, I suspect LeAnn and Brandi will continue to play the press from opposite sides.
Do you think LeAnn is really texting Brandi and commenting on her parenting skills? I kind of believe that – I’ve really started to believe that LeAnn is pretty crazy, and that Eddie literally had no idea what he was getting into when their affair began, and when he left Brandi for LeAnn. I would almost pity him… except he seems pretty scummy.
Anyway, Star Magazine has a totally different take on the situation. Their story this week takes the “Eddie is so overwhelmed” approach. According to their sources, “Brandi hasn’t made it easy for Eddie to see his kids… He though he’d have more access to them. He’s used to seeing them every day, and it’s really tough not to.” The source tries to pull at our heartstrings after that: “Mason gave him a letter written in crayon asking him to come home… Jake’s been telling Daddy he misses him. Eddie feels awful, like he’s letting them down.” Yeah… I wonder if those are the messages LeAnn has been texting to Brandi? You think?
The last part of Star’s report is interesting, though. According to their sources, “LeAnn wants Eddie to go on tour with her again for a few weeks… But he doesn’t want to be away from the boys for that long.” Trouble in stalker paradise much? But LeAnn’s priorities are clear: “She wanted a child when she was with Dean, but the marriage wasn’t strong enough… Since she feels Eddie is The One, she hopes they’ll marry and have a baby ASAP. Eddie is so overwhelmed.” Let’s pull out our tiny douche violins for Eddie, shall we?

Not really buying into this one from the tabs. They took it to far with the one kid supposedly writing a letter in crayon (rolling my eyes) asking the dude to come home or whatever. Too sappy. 1. The affair needed to go public in order for LR to get her man. No problem, she tipped off the paps and “outed” it.

There is little doubt that LeAnn had been txting like some insecure and immature 15 year old. The problem is LeAnn is 27. His kids were at home when Eddie took his mistresses on vaction, while he was running around with Rimes for 9 months, while he was out of town acting, while he’s out with his buddies, and while he’s having one night stands. Now we are suppose to believe this guy “loves his kids dearly”. It’s BS. I don’t believe there is friction between Eddie and LeAnn either. I can not believe she bought the house near the kid’s school without Eddie’s full approval. He hasn’t moved in with her because of the image he needs for the divorce. So much of these tabloid stories are planted by one side or the other but the lack of response from Rimes’ PR people about the texting tells me its absolutely true. I’m sure Brandi would love for LeAnn to keep it up. It shows us how crazy Rimes is and Brandi will have every excuse to have a judge to declare that Rimes is off limits with the kids.
Some women are just terrible people and maybe LeAnn is one of them because her behavior doesn’t make sense. For someone that is not into this kind of stuff, it is obvious to me that many of these posts were written by the soon-to-be ex wife or her friends. They knew too many details and truly really cared about recanting all of these details. Truly, the only ones that know the true story are Brandy, Eddie and Leann. As much speculation, fodder and drizzle that comes out of out these posts, I believe these comments comes from a place of anger and distrust. Now who would only feel that way right about now? Hmmm…Brandy? (or some friends of hers?) Yes, they do what they can to make the situation to work in their favor.

I actually somewhat feel for Leann. Brandy and Eddie seem like white trash to begin with. Hopefully Leann will wake up and move on out of there – and leave this mess behind her. You are correct about the only people knowing the real story are the people involved. On the other hand one doesn’t need a Ph.d in psychology to surmise certain situations. The dilemma this trio is facing is no different from millions of others. The outcome is usually the same. Selfish people committing selfish acts with innocent children the victims and that’s a fact happens every day, and with most men caught in adulterous acts the guilt comes later. Eddie is no different. Leann was a willing participant that’s why they are singled out. Men nowadays don’t need reasons to cheat, a lot do it because they can. Isn’ that what Clinton said. So, Eddie is still following the money trail or his leash shrunk. Totally believe LR is sending the text’s and trying to play some mind games on BG. It won’t work!

In my hunt for more background and history on these subjects I found something that may be interesting.
It seems Eddie was engaged to a Julianne Morris, 1995-1997. And had even asked her father for her hand. According to what’s written he cheats with another woman who just might be Brandi because she now enters the picture. The engagement is broken and now he is with Glanville.
Whatever truth there is to this is unknown. All these sites carry legal disclaimers because facts are few.

If Eddie kept the kids while Brandi was in Vegas I bet she was green with envy and jealously. If she wasn’t why would she keep playing these juvenile games? Their kids aren’t pawns in Leann’s sick little games. She appears to a desperate woman and will try anything to hold on to that man. I hope she is Eddie’s fatal attraction.it would serve him right. Eddie is an easy come, easy go man.

Saw pics of LR at LAX going through security, at least she wasn’t smirking. Poster on another website says they are off to Mexico again. Who knows if it is true, if so, we can bet LR is paying for it all. Betcha she is working at getting pregnant. Actually in the LAX pics she looks rather frumpy and chubby, maybe baby??? Anyhoo, agree with Deb and Betty that Brandi will be fine. All the Brandi haters are posting at every website ad nauseum. LR and her peeps must be getting finger cramps from all the typing. There is no way this is true….the way Brandi’s been blabbing this whole time, if there really were texts, she would’ve shown the proof. I feel for her for the break up of her marriage and all, but her behavior the past couple weeks makes her come across as much more of a stalker (woman scored, crazed ex stereotype)than LeAnn.

Do you think if EC’s ex were as concerned about her kids as she trys to convey, she would be spreading all this crap about him to anyone who will print it? Sounds vindictive to me. What do you think her kids will think about all the ugly stuff she puts out and all the accusations that she hasn’t proven? Maybe she is angry about what happened but you don’t have to make yourself look like a nitwit trying to convince everyone that everyone is wrong but her. I think she has a high regard for what she thinks she looks like, and someone came along and upset her wagon.
@Luna Leann’s behavior made her look bad. It was her decision to have an adulterous affair with a married man while still married. Weren’t Edwards,Sanford,Letterman etc. all involved in the same type of scandalous affairs . Brandi would have no reason to stalk or text Leann.. Leann is the one moved to Brandi’s neighborhood. There is a not so nice name for women like Leann. Eddie has kids he cheated on them too. He is a poor role model for his boys. It’s a good thing they are young if they were older he would be hard pressed to explain to them his lack of respect for his family.
LeAnn Rimes is a homewrecker and I really don’t feel sorry for how she is trashed at all. She knew Eddie was married with two young boys who need him, but it was all about her.
