Kim Kardashian is very rich now. Years ago, her side-businesses were somewhat minor, but then Kylie Jenner worked out the formula of how to grow a business on Instagram, and how to build a business on one good idea or one simple product. In Kylie’s case, it was “lip kits” or lipstick. In Kim’s case, Skims has become her signature business, and she’s on track to make billions from shapewear and loungewear. It’s good money and it’s relatively easy money. But she’s nowhere in the same league as Jeff Bezos, who is currently the second-richest man in the world. Still, Bezos and Kim apparently socialize together? Because Jeff Bezos is now the kind of space cowboy/billionaire douche who wants to party with celebrities. So here we are.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were among the guests at Jeff Bezos’ dinner party on Tuesday, PEOPLE confirms.
The SKIMS mogul, 41, and the Saturday Night Live star, 28, rode together in Kardashian’s car and stayed at the billionaire’s estate for hours before being spotted arriving at Davidson’s Beverly Hills hotel, TMZ reports.
Kardashian’s dinner with Bezos comes after the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum had a coffee date with Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton at the Hot & Cool Cafe in Canoga Park on Monday.
PEOPLE confirmed earlier this week that the meeting was tied to Hillary and Chelsea’s upcoming Apple TV+ series. According to Deadline, the show is titled Gutsy Women and inspired by their bestselling novel The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience. The docuseries will feature a diverse cast of trailblazing women.
Kim has actually been a Hillary Clinton supporter for a while, by the way. She just couldn’t be publicly supportive during the Kanye years, because Kanye was and is MAGA as hell. That being said, Kim did go to the Trump White House, and she used Trump’s need for celebrity validation to get him to issue pardons. As for the Bezos stuff… it’s widely believed that Bezos has definitely become more interested in the celebrity world because of his relationship with Lauren Sanchez. He very much wants to be “the cool guy” with the plastic girlfriend. I genuinely wonder what that dinner party was like, with Lauren flirting with Pete Davidson and Kim telling Bezos about her shapewear. Weird. Very weird.

I find this concept infuriating. Of course she could have been publicly supportive of Clinton. Kim is an independently wealthy woman with massive resources. She absolutely could have, and should have IMO, supported Clinton despite her husband’s ridiculous stance.
THIS. Stop caping for Kim. It’s legal to openly disagree with your husband – she made a choice NOT TO. No matter how you try to dress it up, she’s a relatively basic person with no discernable talent or intelligence who got rich and famous from a sex tape, a business-savvy mother, and a father who defended a murderer. She continues to flaunt her wealth, privilege, and maybe occasionally does something nice once in a blue moon so she can “play lawyer.”
