Back in November, there were paparazzi photos of Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth, out and about in LA. Mia was, at the time, visibly pregnant. Two and a half months later, People Magazine is confirming it, mostly because they got their hands on new paparazzi photos where Mia looks near her due date. Mia and Shia were married for a few years, then apart for several years, but they’ve been “back together” for the better part of a year.
Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are going to be parents. Goth is pregnant, expecting her first baby with LaBeouf. On Jan. 28, Goth was photographed baring her baby bump while running errands in Pasadena, California. The actress was spotted wearing a pair of black leggings and a white long sleeve shirt that exposed the bottom of her belly. She paired the look with black sunglasses and a pair of Birkenstocks with socks.
Goth and LaBeouf were married in 2016, but in 2018, a rep for the actor confirmed the pair had decided to officially part ways.
“Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private,” the rep said at the time.
However, the pair — who have split multiple times since meeting in 2012 — sparked reconciliation rumors when LaBeouf was spotted wearing a wedding band in April 2020, while Goth was seen wearing both a diamond ring and wedding band.
Given what we know about Shia from his exes, I am concerned for Mia. I was concerned for her back when they were first “together,” because he seemed especially volatile back then too. I genuinely hope that she’s got a support system beyond Shia, that she has friends she can count on and some family close by. Congrats on the baby and good luck to all of them.

That man is dangerous and vile. I hope that Mia has a stable, loving and available support system for her and her baby.
I don’t have a good feeling about any of this. I hope the baby is surrounded by loving and stable influences, and I hope Mia stays safe.
I’m stunned they got back together after the FKA Twigs bombshell. I hope she isn’t completely gaslit into staying with him.
This news made me sad for her. I hope, in time, she can leave their volatile make-up/break-up cycle and build a happy, healthy life for herself and the baby.

You hav to be kidding me. Only a year ago he was sued by FKA Twigs and went to get treatment and he was with another women during that time. So he went and immdiately got Mia pregnant after that? Omg that poor child. Mia and him are obviously in some toxic on/off relationship.

She does look cute pregnant. As I read the People exclusive on their groundbreaking news that Mia was pregnant, I thought it would have been hard to detect, but she is at least 6 months! That’s some detective work @ People!! How they caught it, I am actually surprised!!
All kidding aside, I hope she has a strong, wonderful, and beautiful support system as well. A safe and healthy pregnancy and love all around her.
Poor Mia. She seems completely trapped in a toxic cycle that is all too common sadly. It’s always easy to judge from the outside looking in. I wish her safety and happiness for the child.
She is going to be connected to this man forever now. Who you have a kid with is the most important decision you can make IMO and I don’t see this going well for anyone. I hope her and the baby are safe from his anger.
I had a friend who got out of a really dysfunctional relationship and they’d been trying to get pregnant but it hadn’t happened. I will never forget the absolute relief on her face when she talked about the difference between leaving him with no kids and leaving him if they had kids.
She said that she could literally walk away and never see him again for the rest of her life because they didn’t have a child together. The difference is night and day. I really feel for Mia, I hope he hasn’t isolated her from family and support.
This is so sad that child is going to see so much. I pray she has the strength to leave him.
I find it also concerting that the tweet says she makes a rear appearance without Shia with her. I don’t Follow either one of them but if it’s true he definitely seems to be controlling how often she gets out the house without him.
Looking at old post on this site, the fact that he gave her a black eye and then blamed her for it, definitely seems like he trapped her with this baby .
Not all that long ago he was filmed screaming that he was going to kill her before he left her at the side of the road, in a foreign country where she didn’t speak the language, in the middle of the night while he hitched a lift with the random dudes that filmed him doing all that. I worry for her and hope she and the baby will be OK.

He’s shown no indications of remorse or a dedication to treatment (beyond the bare minimum trying to salvage his career). Sigh….poor foolish woman. Men don’t suddenly change because baby: more likely in his case would be to get jealous of the attention given to the child and get worse. Read FKA Twigs story again.

Poor thing. This story makes me sad. Much love and support to her and the baby. They say it typically takes a few attempts to be able to leave an abuser. I’m sorry she’s now got a little person tying her to him. Hopefully she is able to get them both out safely one day.

I watched Maid the other day and thought about how Margret Qualley could make that show and go on to date him. It was such a sad series. And then I remembered the pregnancy stories about these two and wondered how that was going. It’s insanity that anyone would get with a known abuser, it’s even more crazy that someone would get back together with them AND have a baby. I hope for her sake he’s getting help, because watching that series knowing that woman are put into those situations day after day made me so angry. I hate men, and what they do and have done to us.
