The lawsuit between former Miss California Carrie Prejean and the Miss California Pageant rages on. Carrie sued the pageant in late August for “public disclosure of private facts, religious discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress” following her de-crowning in June. The company that owns the pageant, K2 Productions, has now counter sued Carrie asking for the $5,200 they paid for her boob job before the Miss USA pageant. If Carrie is ultimately found responsible for paying for her new boobs, they promise that the money will be donated to charity.

The production company that runs the pageant is filing a cross complaint against Prejean, demanding, among other things, that Carrie return the $5,200 the pageant fronted her for her breast augmentation.

In other legal docs, Keith Lewis and crew are asking to strike a portion of Prejean’s lawsuit — the portion dealing with public disclosure of private facts.

The new docs say, “the alleged ‘private facts’ consist of her breast augmentation (which ceased being private during the swimsuit competition of the nationally-televised Miss USA pageant, in which Ms. Prejean walked the stage in a bikini).”

The cross complaint says, “Had [Carrie] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle …”

As for the cross complaint, Lewis and the production company claim Prejean is a hypocrite, championing family values after posing for a variety of “semi-nude photos…[which] surfaced via TMZ.com.”

I don’t think Prejean’s lawsuit has any merit – especially after reading the truly rude and obnoxious e-mails she sent pageant director Keith Lewis. She kept crying religious discrimination due to her answer against gay marriage at the pageant, but she was given a second chance by Donald Trump and she blew it. The woman is unable to work with others and wants people to feel sorry for her.

The Miss California Pageant should have taken the high road, though, and by citing biblical passages and being so snotty about getting her to pay back her boob job they’re not doing themselves any PR favors. Carrie regularly talks enough smack to dig herself into a big hole. All they have to do is sit back and point out all the ridiculous ways she violated her contract with them. Unless of course they’re motivated by the same thing she is – publicity.
