Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been honeymooning in Italy this week. Italy, it turns out, is playing a significant role in their revival. The first trip they took when they got back together was a yacht adventure, where they stopped at port cities in France and Italy. The first red carpet the walked together for their revival was at the Venice Film Festival. And now their honeymoon is in Como, Menaggio and Milan. The photos in this post are from Milan, where they were seen (and swarmed) at the Brunello Cucinelli shop.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are making their way through Italy hand in hand. The couple, who celebrated their marriage with a ceremony in Georgia last weekend, were seen shopping in Milan, Italy, Thursday.
Lopez, 53, dressed in all white, sporting a crop top with high-waist pants and a fedora. She accessorized with gold jewelry and beige high heels. Affleck, 50, kept things casual in blue jeans and a matching button-up shirt over a white tee. The two stopped to pose for fans who were waiting to see them outside Italian luxury fashion brand Brunello Cucinelli.
Earlier this week, Lopez and Affleck were spotted dining at a historic hotel in Lake Como, Italy. A source who saw the pair at the restaurant told PEOPLE, “They were attentive only to each other, didn’t have eyes for anything else.” The source added, “They seemed to very much enjoy the evening, as they arrived when the sun was still high and stayed on well after dark.”
Another source that saw the pair Tuesday night told PEOPLE, “Someone asked them for a selfie with them and they just did it. They are really down to earth people.”
On Wednesday afternoon they explored the lakeside town of Menaggio, according to a third source. “They just queued up for ice cream like everyone else, and wandered into shops. They acted normally, even if they had bodyguards with them,” the source said. “They are just going out and mingling.” The source added that they kept their outing low-key and “went unnoticed for quite some time.”
It sounds nice, honestly? I see all the haters who are like “this is too expensive” and “they’re flaunting their wealth!” Yeah, have you ever paid attention to Jennifer Lopez before? During their family trip to Paris last month, they did the same kinds of things too – they went to nice restaurants, they went sight-seeing, they went shopping. They’re behaving like wealthy tourists. Which, incidentally, is exactly what European tourism boards want. A lot of these places want American tourists to come back and spend money. Plus, Ben is spending the whole f–king honeymoon in jeans, t-shirts and his beloved flannels. It’s not THAT fancy. He’s probably trying to track down Milan’s Dunkin Donuts.

They look happy. They are living a life many of us can only dream of. Some of us are still living in a pandemic and worried about the cost of food. Oh to be J.Lo !

I wonder if there isn’t a weight lifted off his shoulders a bit now that they are married. Like, he did it, he followed through, he didn’t sabotage it. He might have been very worried he would do something to screw it up.

This. Say what we will about the Keens and their vacations, but they manage to do whole multi week vacations without being papped.
They could absolutely avoid this. They are choosing not to. No shade! If they want the attention, they’re getting it. Everyone’s happy.
The Keens go on week long vacay with no press because they’re trying to hide the fact that they are on vacation, using tax payer money.
While I agree that the press attention on the Afflecks is too much, their situation is totally different than the Lamebridges.
It’s none of anyone’s business if it is “expensive” or whatever. It’s their money. And it’s their honeymoon. I’m glad they’re having fun. Lake Como is on my list of places to go. Not on JLo’s budget, for sure, but still….
@Kokiri Of course they can avoid paparazzi, no one is denying that? They’ve done it for month-long stretches multiple times in the past 18 months and even the first few days of this vacation. This is the first day paparazzi are around, not just fan photos.

Good on them for living their lives. I have no idea whether they enjoy the attention, just put up with it, see it as part of the package given their chosen professions, or all of the above — depending on the moment, but I applaud their willingness to do standard tourist stops and stand in line for ice cream and openly enjoy having the opportunity to do what they want to do.
There was often quite a bit of overt racism in the coverage of their relationship the first go around. It’s nice to see that at least that aspect of the hoopla has calmed down. That’s progress of a sort. I wish them well. I hope they live long and prosper. Lol: Multiple tourism boards are probably joining me with this!
Selfishly, I really enjoyed the pics of Emme and her fashion game, so I’m hoping that a few more family vacations get added to the mix before the coverage calms down.

There are photos of them on the dailymail they are staying at george and amal’s estate on Lake como, celebs are vacationing there privately all the time. But I guess they also want the full experience without staying in that bubble? And yeah they love the attention, but they are in their fifties, rich, famous and celebrating their honeymoon. They both seems happy and are not hurting anyone

I don’t know… I think she actually DID give him a makeover, it was just not as radical as the Bennifer 1.0 was, with all the fancy designer suits.
Now she’s letting him stick with the Ben Uniform formula he’s demonstrated he feels most comfy in: jeans + shirt + another shirt. But remember, pre-Bennifer 2.0, it was a mostly slobby parade of saggy pants and wrinkled, STAINED (totally STAINED!!!) shirts he looked like he pulled out of his dirty clothes hamper. She’s baby-stepping his fashion metamorphosis now. Taking it one non-disgusting shirt at a time.

For some reason I thought they already had a honeymoon. This all sounds nice. But, I’m trying to figure out the restaurant situation – if they went there when the sun was still high, then was it lunch? And if they stayed until well after dark – the sun sets around 8:30 about now – then did they have dinner also? Or was it a sort of “early-bird special” time, when the restaurant stayed open just for them?

The photos from Como reminded me how short she is compared to him! She had no makeup on and no heels. She looked so relaxed. I really do think they had hoped to go there quietly but locals kept taking their photos. By the time they got to Milan she had the heels and makeup back on. They really do look happy
They worked hard for their money, especially her. It is theirs to spend. They are helping the local economy. I am sure that over extravagant wedding helped Georgia’s local economy too. People might hate it but there are so many fans who loves these two. Ben & Jen will help booster the tourism industry. You know there is a newly engaged girl just telling her fiance we have to go to Como! Georgia had a ton of tourists who drove or flew down just to see a glimpse of these two during their wedding. I am sure most of those tourists didn’t fly back home but drove through different states boosting economy in those states even by a little bit.

And lots of pics were taken by locals, she’s an icon the world over, so of course unless they went to a remote island they’re going to get papped and they want to do the same things we do, tour idyllic towns etc get ice cream, why shouldn’t they do that?

@No J.Lo likes nice things and works hard but that’s not the same as the Kardashians. We don’t get inundated with Jennifer’s daily purchases and she’s not selling waist trainers, contour sticks, lip kits or diet teas. I wouldn’t compare her to the Kardashians at all.
