As we discussed this week, paparazzi got photos of Emily Ratajkowski out on date in New York. They got photos of Emily and the guy walking around and making out. The guy is NOT Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt has been trying to make “RatPitt” happen for more than a month, conveniently as he desperately tries to distract from the series of stories about how he has physically, emotionally and financially abused Angelina Jolie. For a while, Emily seemed to be playing along with Pitt’s PR. But she’s not anymore. So people asked: who is Emily’s new guy and is the new guy better than Brad Pitt? The answers are Orazio Rispo and yes.
Emily Ratajkowski’s mystery man has been identified. The model’s handsome suitor — with whom she was spotted making out in New York City on Friday — is named Orazio Rispo. Rispo, 35, is a DJ who has been spinning tunes for Manhattan’s elite for years. Page Six reported more than a decade ago that Rispo mixed for stars like Stavros Niarchos, Charlotte Casiraghi, Mark Getty and Uma Thurman at art dealer Gerard Faggionato’s 50th birthday.
Although it is unclear how the DJ met Ratajkowski, 31, it is possible they run in similar circles since she is also based in the Big Apple. According to LinkedIn, Rispo is not just in the music industry — he is also a tech entrepreneur with an impressive educational background. He is the chief strategy officer of a mobile app called Sprokit, which aims to help former prisoners re-entering the community connect with social services, parole, probation, employers, family and friends.
Per his profile, Rispo graduated from Columbia University in 2015 and majored in psychology and political science, cognitive psychology and psycholinguistics. He speaks five languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
It appears the businessman may come from an affluent background, as he attended two boarding schools, Eaglebrook in Massachusetts and Kent in Connecticut, growing up. According to an online profile for a record label called Alegria, Rispo was born and raised in New York, has been deejaying for more than 20 years and also owns the Halcyon Record Shop in Brooklyn.
A quote he is said to live by is, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
I’m including some photos of him below – he’s definitely cute! He has kind eyes. I didn’t know Emily went for guys who look like this – you know, like a nice, clean-cut man with no visible markers of douchebaggery or drama. Is this growth? He seems like a wealthy New Yorker with good connections. So be it! Anyone is better than Brad Pitt at this point.

Yeah, so she totally played Brad here, and I applaud her for it. Her new relationship attracts a ton more interest this way, and she gets to make it really clear to him that she’s able to attract someone younger, better looking, and better educated than he is (that last one normally wouldn’t be a consideration in Hollywood relationships, but I have a feeling that Brad would like to be seen as an intellectual and is insecure about that sort of thing).
This kind of reminds me of Neri Oxman and her billionaire. Brad’s type is apparently “can do way better than him.”
