Lindsay Lohan is currently on a publicity tour for her Netflix holiday movie, Falling for Christmas. Usually a small-budget Netflix film wouldn’t get this kind of “promotional tour,” but Lohan is eager to step back into the limelight after living in Dubai for years. One of the most interesting parts of Lohan’s tour is her fashion. As it turns out, Lohan has hired Law Roach to style her during promo, although we’ll see if this collaboration lasts. Law Roach is pretty much the hottest celebrity stylist out there today – he works with Zendaya, he’s styled promotional tours for Angelina Jolie, Michael B. Jordan, Yara Shahidi, Cynthia Erivo, Anne Hathaway and more. Who’s paying for Roach to style Lohan? That’s my question.
This week, Lohan was in New York to promote Falling for Christmas. In New York earlier this week, she wore a color-blocked Akris suit, which is a pretty bold look. She also wore a white dress which I really love. Then last night, she wore a lace Valentino gown for the premiere. The Valentino dress is such a “Kate Middleton look,” right? It’s almost too prim, too proper, too doily. Whoever did Lindsay’s makeup for the premiere did her no favors either. She’s still messing with her face, and the makeup just emphasizes the work she’s doing.

You know leaving the industry for years did Lindsay a lot of good. I think she looks healthy and happy. I saw her in an interview recently and she seemed like a completely different person than what we are used to. It’s good she moved out of LA and is in a good relationship with someone she loves. I’m happy for her. I hope she stays away from the negative side of Hollywood this time around.
I agree! Nice to see Lindsay look happy & healthier, and I’m totally gonna watch this movie on Netflix (although expecting it won’t be a masterpiece).

Zendaya could rock the color blocked suit. I was really thankful Law was honored by the CFDA, he’s been doing amazing work. I’m not in love with these choices, it feels like there’s a mandated demureness, especially the doily dress. Is that due to new hubby?
If y’all youngins have never seen Overboard, the original, the heart warming love story of a wealthy woman losing her memory and being domesticated by a blue collar man who needs a wife, do yourself a favor and give the hardest pass ever to both films.

Same. At the time I didn’t understand the message of the difficult woman finding peace through domestic bliss. But once you see it through that lens, gah! Nothing at all wrong with a woman falling in love and becoming a mom to step children, but free will is part of that equation. 😳 I’m sure the the Lifetime film will have an updated take on it though, less gray area around consent.
I have loved Overboard since it came out but definitely recognize how ick it truly is. I think Goldie’s charm really did it, nobody else could successfully pull out the performance like that. And her and Kurt obviously have huge chemistry and comfort, so I think that is what carried the movie.
Shazbot – Definitely. Two people in love made the movie work but if we just read that description cold right now it’d be like say what now?
Dang it, I really enjoyed the Goldie Hawn version until now. oh well. 🤷♀️
I think she looks fine in all the photos. The only thing I don’t like is that frumpy quilted gold handbag.
I’m rooting for her. Between her family and the industry itself, she never had a chance. I don’t necessarily expect groundbreaking performances from her, but I genuinely hope she has a life of health, happiness, and as much steady work as she pleases. This kind of Hallmark-style movie could be a good niche for her.
Her husband is wealthy, so he could have paid for Law Roach. Maybe Netflix paid for the promotion, but her look had to be Deena recommending Roach and Lyndsey’s new, deeply in love husband offering to pay.
It’s her comeback. Her family and hubby love her. It is nice to see. She has been through hell, and she didn’t have the solid emotional start that we want for kids to prep them for adulthood. It was hard watching what happened with her and with Britney Spears, while they negotiated the Hollywood nightmare with no emotional skills to deal. Both are extremely talented, and they became jokes.
Hollywood chewed them up and spit them out.

Watched the movie. Its perfectly fine, predictable and she looks good. Good for her! I’d watch a sequel too, I’m a sucker for average romantic comedy christmas movies, and I’m not being snarky.

I wonder if this return is a sign that she has done the internal work she really needed to do in order to show up for work, be reliable, etc. She looks pretty healthy and happy. I’m surprised to find myself rooting for her – she has made a lot of mistakes but something seems different (in a good way). And she is LUCKY Law Roach is willing to work with her – he’s on fire right now. I think that’s another good sign. I love her looks here!

This is the best Lindsay has looked in years! I always liked her and have been rooting for her to find her way back to herself. She grew up in a horrible time for paparazzi and a vicious time for women in entertainment. It was great that she didn’t just step away for a year or two, she’s been gone for years and it looks like it did her a lot of good. There have been plenty of men in Hollywood who are known racists, abusers, antisemites and they all got their comeback. Lindsay deserves one too, especially if she’s really ready for it.

I can’t believe you left out CELINE DION from that list! Her career was basically transformed by Roach as her appearances became major moments and Fashion Spectacles!

@ellie totally agree that Law Roach worked absolute magic with Celine. But let’s give Maman her dues, it was Celine’s dramatic streetside spectacles in Paris and commitment to PFW that transformed public perception at the time, not just Law’s styling. Interesting as they seemed close for a while, but no longer?
She has the weird pulled on tight face look like Madonna. Compare Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan: stay away from hard drugs kids! But it’s better than she’s looked a long time. I hope she can stay away from the hard drugs.
At least she looks better than Selena Gomez who’s on the same boat except hiding her drugs/alcohol under lupus or bipolar. She had to get a transplant by age 25 from the severe alcohol abuse.

I am so happy for her that she’s back, in control and doing what she wants. Law Roach is the best and he’s hilarious on Legendary. I love ALL her looks. She had a very hard time being a child star, going astray, getting a lot of bad publicity, etc. So glad she gets to get back up, turn it all around and start again. I heard that this is only the first movie and there are two others connected to the first, somehow. Best of luck, girl!
I dislike Lohan a lot but I have to say, that photo with the white dress is the best she has looked in over a decade. The red hair suits her so much better than the washed out blonde she had for years. I wish her luck, I hope she is in a better head space now.

Having grown up with her movies and music, I remember borrowing her CD from a frenemy in high school to burn it lmfao, I have a huge soft spot for her.
I’m so glad she’s back; planning on watching her movie tonight, and she has another one coming up called Irish Wish with Ayesha Curry (!!!)
I think the ponytail is tight and pulling her features and making her looked even more worked on but with her not so healthy lifestyle before, I think she obviously needs (and has had) and will need work done to remain looking good, it’s not like she was the picture of clean living lol but she still looks really healthy now! Wow!
I am blown away by how amazing she looks. I am so happy for her and I really hope that if acting is what is best for her that she is successful in her comeback. I know she’s had a rough life – and even if some of her trouble has been her own fault – I wouldn’t wish her trauma on anyone. I wish her nothing but the very best.
