Last summer, Lindsay Lohan confirmed that she’d quietly married Bader Shammas, the man she had been dating in Dubai for several years. Lindsay is definitely Dubai-based nowadays and has been for years, and her absence from the scenes in LA and New York has done her a world of good. She didn’t even make a big deal about her wedding – we still haven’t seen any photos, nor do we even know exactly when or where her wedding was held. In any case, Lindsay is now expecting her first child! I’m shocked.
Lindsay Lohan is going to be a mom! The Parent Trap star, 36, is pregnant, expecting her first baby with husband Bader Shammas, she announced on Instagram Tuesday.
Alongside a photo of a white onesie that reads “coming soon,” Lohan wrote, “We are blessed and excited!,” tagging Shammas in the post.
A rep for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress married the financier in early July, after announcing her engagement with a series of Instagram photos in November 2021. “My love. My life. My family. My future,” she wrote in the caption.
When I think of all of the wrong turns Lindsay has taken, all of the times where her life went off the rails… I’ll admit, I never thought this day would come. A day when she’s happily married to a Credit Suisse executive (cough) and expecting her first child. I hope everything goes really well for her during the pregnancy and I hope Bader really is a good guy and that this isn’t all some long con to get access to Credit Suisse accounts. Fingers crossed!

My gosh she may have made it out of child acting alive & healthy! Ethan Hawks remarked re now long shot bet Natasha Lynne that she ‘survived. Literally. There are bodies of child actors everywhere.’ Thought of that when I read this news.
I had the same thought. It’s incredible she survived & seems to have found stability.
This is great. Now we have to hope it’s not twins, the couple doesn’t divorce and each take custody of a twin, and years from now send them to the same summer camp.
LOL. Hayley Mills managed not to do that so we can hope.

I have to second what Kaiser says in the last paragraph… as a looooongtime CB reader, I remember all of her turmoil and the insane turns her life took at the height of her fame. Back in the days of daily CRACKEN stories and messy-Lohan-everything-everywhere, I never thought I would see her get to this point.
She looks happy and healthy and relaxed in the top photo. I think she will be a great mom, because she’s been through the ringer herself and came out on the other side, could make her more protective and attentive to her little one through as they grow.
