The source of this latest royal rumor is British OK! Magazine, which I would obviously take with a grain of salt. The only reason I’m a bit wary is that OK! Mag was also the source of that mind-numbing “peace talks” story two weeks ago, where sources claimed that King Charles and Prince Harry would quietly meet after the Invictus Games. That story ended up infuriating Prince William and he barked down the phone to several reporters about how HE would never have peace talks with the brother he despises. I’m just saying, OK! Mag’s royal sources might actually be up to something. In any case, those sources claim that the Princess of Wales is the one full of anger, rage and contempt these days. Kate will “never forgive” Meghan OR Harry. Forgive them for what? Seeing Kate as a pitiful Mean Girl with baby brains?
Kate will never forgive Meghan! “She’ll never forgive Meghan for what she did,” a well-placed source reportedly told Ok!, in reference to some of the things she said about the family during the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in March 2021, as well as being partly involved in the decision to step down as senior royals, among other things. “It was the ultimate betrayal. The wounds are just too deep to be easily healed,” the source added.
Kate is also unwilling to forgive Harry! But as willing as she is to get the brothers on good terms again – or at the very least, speaking terms – Ok!’s source revealed that she isn’t willing to forgive the Duke of Sussex herself, especially after some of the things he wrote in his bombshell memoir, Spare, which was released in January this year. “Kate has drawn a hard line in the sand — she’s not changing her mind about them. They never apologized for their lies,” the insider reportedly told Ok!, in reference to Harry and Meghan’s attacks on the royal family in the Oprah interview, their Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries, and Harry’s memoir. “But it’s harder for William because Harry is his brother,” the source continued, adding, “It’s a horrible situation all around.”
William’s olive branch: “William wants to extend an olive branch to Harry,” the source continued. “It’s a shocking about-face, but he feels it’s long overdue.” And although the Princess of Wales *may* want her husband to patch things up with his brother (if we are to believe the sources from previous reports) Ok!’s source thinks that she doesn’t want them to be “let back in” and continue like nothing has changed. As per the source, Kate thinks “Harry and especially Meghan have done enough damage to the royal family, and will do even more damage if they’re let back in.”
Well, we’ve gone from “keen peacemaker” to “linchpin of the monarchy” to “Kate will never forgive Meghan for telling her story!” To be fair, no one ever believed that Kate was a peacemaker or a linchpin or anything other than utterly disposable to the monarchy. Kate is absolutely a Mean Girl, and I’ve come around to the idea that Kate is really, at heart, a manipulative sh-t stirrer. It would not surprise me at all if one of her favorite activities is winding up William. It’s also clear that Kate is a flagrant liar, and she’s probably still furious about Meghan correcting the record about Kate’s Big Lie (“the Black woman made me cry”).

Think I’m going to just focus on following the good works undertaken by the only remotely interesting and effective pair, Harry & Meghan. I watched all the episodes of Heart of Invictus yesterday and it made me realise that the petty viewpoints & info leaking of the Kates and Willys of this world are really not worth the bother of reading.
W&K will NEVER comprehend what Harry & Meghan do. They seriously have no concept of working and accomplishing.

Sophie and Camilla are far more passive in their behaviour toward Meghan but Kate is aggressive. She was the one who made it obvious she was giving Meghan the “cut direct” and her behaviour toward Meghan at the walkabout was obviously aggressive.

Kate mentioned that the hardest thing she has ever don in her life was walk alongside Meghan last year. Now she won’t ever forgive Meghan.
Yet this is the same woman who has no issue spending time with Paedrew.
She hates her because Meghan made it all look easy. She is naturally beautiful, carried herself with grace and elegance, has an appropriate yet still very trendy and effortlessly chic style, and she could actually speak thoughtfully and intelligently about a number of social causes.
Kate probably always would have bullied whoever Harry got with. Pulling rank and acting “above” that person by virtue of her title is pretty much the only thing Kate gets to unabashedly enjoy about royal status, particularly with other women. And unlike the aristo ladies like Rose Hanbury, Meghan had no rank or title, no great aristocratic wealth, and is a WOC, so I imagine Kate felt confident she could bully her beyond reproach and then sit back and gleefully cackle as the system ate Meghan alive.
What she and no one else was counting on is how much Harry genuinely loves her, and how much of a steel spine Meghan actually has. Now Kate has been played as a fool again, only this time by a woman who just walked away and refused to play the game, and she got a crown prince to give up his birthright and follow her to the path of freedom. I’m sure that is what eats away at Kate more than anything else; she can’t even get Will to not visibly cringe when she poses next to him in pictures; she knows her prince would never give up his birthright to love and protect her, she knows he doesn’t really even care that much for her, and that jealousy and anger eats away at her, like a poison. The mean girl who got the prince but had to sacrifice literally every bit of self-respect she had to do it has been showed up yet again, this time by another commoner woman, but one who got her prince through genuine love and romance instead.

I think, too, that being in Meghan’s presence may have shattered more than a few of Kate’s “truths “ about herself and her own value — in possibly painful ways. It’s easier for her to focus her anger on Meghan than it is to do the work of gaining insight, and recognizing that much of what she was groomed to be really has limited value — both in the circles she aspires to, and in the greater, diverse worlds that value skill-sets and attributes that are likely way beyond her ken.

I have no doubt Kate encouraged Will’s worst instincts (which wouldn’t be hard). I’m sure dropped a few lies and exaggerations to get him lathered up enough to want to expel Meghan. That doesn’t absolve William one bit. The only thing he’s mad about is that it went too far and he lost Harry in the process.
Absolutely does not absolve William of his actions. But what’s interesting is the change in tone, the clear blaming of Kate for the whole thing.

I definitely think Kate riled up William when it came to Meghan. I don’t think William needed a lot of help there, but I think she did rile him up.
My comment wasn’t meant to absolve him but I keep thinking about how welcoming he (William) was to Meghan early in the relationship and how much of a cold fish Kate was. He covets his brothers life and most of all, his wife. william is the reason kate still feels compelled to compete with meghan and “see her off” even tho meghan has only been to 2 public events in this entire year and has left her presence years earlier. the DM is putting meghan’s photo with kate and rose (his wife and publically named mistress) wearing her items for a reason, it is no coincidence at all. kate is trying to prove that she can be like meghan and give william what he truly wants, but she never could. he would openly swoon and gush over meghan at events and ignore kate. after eugenie’s wedding, he actually shoved kate to the back so he could walk next to Meg. he did the same thing at the walk about after all that has happened. if you notice in the video, he was watching meghan out of the corner of his eye and kept trying to get close to her, bending down when she did, etc. he also ambushed an anzac event 2 days after louis was born and tried to give her an open mouth kiss on the lips (there is pics of it, but the video was never released). harry hinted at this in spare, but i believe he is saving it as leverage incase something happens to her or their children.
@Zebz, yup….. On top of all of the other components already discussed, it’s definitely obvious that William’s, um, “complicated” feelings towards Meghan played a huge role in this mess. I don’t think that Kate “tricked” William with her lies into hating Meghan… I think that William coveted Meghan and didn’t give a shit at first whether Kate hated her or not, but somewhere down the line those feelings turned dark and ugly, probably due to specific instances that we’re still not aware of. I think after that, William “allowed” himself to feed into his wife’s hatred of Meghan and believe her lies against her, because it gave him a righteous excuse to justify his own hate. @Lady D – The DM readership worships whatever it tells them to, which is also what the RF tells them to. They’ve hedged their bets by continuing to remind everyone of Kate’s middle class roots – that way they can play the “she never quite fit in” card, if necessary.
It seems to me that DM comments are all over the place when it comes to Kate: they definitely worship her and kiss her ass when it comes to Meghan, but I’ve also noticed that stories about Kate that don’t involve or mention Meghan at all tend to get a lot more negative comments creeping in. While I do believe that she has some real admirers, I think that the majority of her “fans” are just obsessed Meghan haters that use Kate as an avatar to project their own bile. If another suitable “avatar” came along to replace Kate, I don’t think most of them would care or miss her.
It is weird considering William just went to the Daily Beast with sources saying he definitely doesn’t want to speak to Harry. I can believe Kate feels the same but almost no one except Hello is saying William wants peace.

Whether or not he’s capable of appreciating what a healthy, functional relationship is (have my doubts, given his other role modes), he always wants what Harry has. Probably believes he’d shine more being connected with someone who can do the job, but is of course also very attractive. Remember, he knew Meghan first from watching Suits, and as mentioned before, likely had the hots for her. If Harry can land someone like that, why can’t he, the FK? She even made sure to try to contradict Meghan’s (and only Meghan’s) comments about coordinating outfit colors and hugging people this past winter. She was perfectly okay to let the infamous “Meghan made me cry” story stew for 2+ years never thinking that Meghan would get to correct the record to Oprah of all people in front of an audience of millions. During the walk at Windsor during the mourning period, all the funeral related events, Kate looked like she had a stick shoved up her behind and absolutely out of her mind whenever Meghan was nearby. Why does everyone depict Khate as the victim. Women are abusers too. Assuming Kate is the victim, is ignoring her behavior. It has been said many times that her goal is to be Queen nothing else. There is a video of them getting out of seperate cars that was actually posted above with William fixated on Meghan the entire time while they are walking up. There is a video of him on another day (possibly RAF event) when Meghan wore dark navy/black Dior and William was looking her up and down and biting his bottom lip. Meghan looked uncomfortable. I have a saved picture of this. On the balcony, khate tried to walk out and firmly plop herself right next to the Queen and William literally had to nearly shove her down several times to get her to move over to allow Harry and Meghan next to them. He turned around a couple of times to talk to Meghan and each time Khate nearly snapped her neck when she realized what he was doing (her rictus grin even dropped at one point). I’m also agreeable with those that have said they believe William was enamored with Meghan and then something obviously happened. I feel like he might have made a pass at her and she obviously shot him down.
Khate certainly riled him up about her. I’m sure she lied from the get go about what happened at H&Ms wedding and about plenty of other things. We all heard her in the background with the photographer situation and she knows how to instigate situations with him. I’m not saying William is innocent but I do think khate dramatized it daily knowing how obsessed she is about Meghan (and harry).
