This is breaking news as it is unfolding so I have no idea what is really going on in this situation. Radar, MSNBC and local Florida affiliates are saying that 50-ish, gray-haired woman was removed from Tiger Woods’ Florida home and rushed to the hospital. My immediate thought when I heard the description of the woman was “housekeeper” or “nanny”. Some kind of employee is my initial guess. But I would also suspect that the description of the woman might match Elin’s mother, right?
A woman, described as being in her 50s with gray hair, was rushed to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida early Tuesday morning, after being removed from a stretcher from Tiger Woods’ Isleworth mansion at 2:36 a.m., a source tells RadarOnline.com.
Authorities, at this time, had not released the name of the woman.
A woman resembling Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, was seen at the hospital driving a black Cadillac Escalade, RadarOnline.com has also learned.
WESH-TV in Orlando, Florida has video of the woman being transported.
Health Central is the same hospital Woods was taken to following his November 27 accident. That incident occurred after an argument with Nordegren on the heels of the National Enquirer’s bombshell revelation Tiger had been having an affair with breathtaking NYC party girl Rachel Uchitel.
Since then, several women have stepped forward and publically claimed that they too had affairs with Tiger.

Okay, I’m double-checking… Fox News has the woman as blonde, and on “advanced life support” after a 2:36 a.m. 911 call. A witness told Fox that “a ‘nice-looking blonde woman’ who looked similar to Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, was driving [an SUV to the hospital].” Also, “according to WFTV-TV, the license plate on that Cadillac Escalade seen at the hospital had only one character that was different from the Escalade involved in the crash.” So perhaps Elin didn’t move out after all. I’m starting to suspect it’s her mother. NYDN has a blurry photo – it could be Elin’s mom. We will update as soon as we have more info.
UPDATE: It’s probably not Elin’s mom. I assumed Elin’s mom would be a blonde, but she’s a brunette. TMZ has a photo of Barbro Holmberg, Elin’s mom and a Swedish politician, and she doesn’t pass for the blurry image the NYDN has. So I’m going with my initial thought: nanny or housekeeper.
UPDATE #2: US Weekly and others are now reporting that the woman was Elin’s mother. So much for my amateur sleuthing. Us Weekly says: “Elin Nordegren’s mother is in stable condition after being rushed to a hospital early Tuesday morning from Tiger Woods’ $2.6 million mansion. NBC News is now identifying the woman as Barbro Holmberg. An emergency dispatcher took the call from Woods’ home at 2:36 a.m. and transferred it to Orange County Fire Rescue, Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jim Solomons tells The Associated Press.” My thoughts are with Elin and her family!
On the news here (in Missouri – NBC affiliate KY3) they say the woman has “visible bruising”. I thought maybe the neighbor lady / slut showed up and Elin beat the crap out of her with a 9 iron.
yea i’ve been trying to follow the sory also , it’s serious if this person had to be on advanced life support .
but they are saying that the woman has been released this morning .
I know on the radio this morning they were saying that the local fire rescue people were saying that they couldn’t confirm that someone was in fact taken to the hospital, but that all the major news sources were like “um, we have video footage….”
I kind of get the feeling that if it is Elin’s Mom, or a nanny or housekeeper, they don’t really WANT it known that they had to be transported to the hospital, etc. and the fire rescue people are trying to cover for them. But that’s just my thoughts, I’ve been on the road for an hour so I haven’t read any of the reports yet!

Whomever it is, what a sad, tragic event in the middle of all this crud flying around Tiger. I hope whomever it is will be okay and the reports of life support turn out to be wrong.

Whatever the case may be, it is sad that things just seem to keep happening to this family and putting even more media attention on them.

Wow what will happen tomorrow, there seems to be a daily twist for everything relating to tiger woods now.
A cnn report says medics from Orange County Fire were called at 2:36 and arrived at 2:37(?!) but the patient wasn’t transported until 3:13 when an ambulance from the hospital arrived.
Why wouldn’t the Orange County squad have transported? My hunch is that it wasn’t a life-threatening condition, but on the other hand I suppose it takes more time to stabilize a seriously ill/injured person.
Can anyone enlighten me with more info about emergency medicine?

He’d kill me if I called him this early, but we’ve talked about some of the calls he goes out on and I always got the impression that if he’s there longer than ten, fifteen minutes, it’s because the person doesn’t want to go or they’re having trouble physically getting the person onto a board.
I can’t see a potential life support case sitting there for 45 minutes.

What if Tiger Woods physically harmed his wife, Elin Nordegren in a confrontation and now, like before when this scandal first broke, they are trying to hide it. After everything thats happened I would not put past Tiger of doing something like this. Poor Elin, she is too good for this and him.

Back to the story at hand..if this is a nanny or housekeeper, why would Elin (if it was her) be rushing to the hospital after her? Especially if she moved out, as is rumored. Not saying that a nanny or housekeeper couldn’t be just as close to Elin as family, it just seems odd that she’s keeping a super low profile, but she doesn’t mind being spotted racing after the ambulance?

other sites are reporting that a life support transport vehicle showed up to the scene first, which is what caused the confusion that whoever was in it was on advanced life support. however, the person was not on life support and initially refused treatment.

I was watching NBC and they’re not even using the “middle-aged” descriptor. Just a “blonde woman.” I haven’t heard anything yet about the person being visibly bruised.
My first thought was OH NO! And I kinda feared the worst. Heartbreak can do some crazy things to a person..

I would imagine everybody in that household, be it cleaning woman or caretaker or mother in law, would be very upset at the daily news – as it happens, seems like more women from all over are popping out of the woodwork with proof that they’ve screwed Tiger with no protection.
If I were in any way connected with that household I’d be on tenterhooks myself, waiting for the next revelation.
The type of call dictates the type of ambulance that responds (at least in my metropolis). A “50 yo, trouble breathing, faint” would get a different ambulance than “a 13 yo, broken leg.” The actual life-support equipment may not even been used. And they dispatch from our fire dept. with a “ladder (fire truck).” The ladder does not transport, just there for support.
And like snowball said, sometimes you have to “convince” people to go, but with the world watching from across the street, they were probably also trying to get their destination, strategy, and story/public statement straight before leaving.
Word on CNN is that is was Elin’s mom.

He is so screwed. Good God I hope all the fun was worth it because it must be hell to be him now. “Sucks to be you Tiger.” Who would ever have thought that’s a valid statement? People.com has the call Elin made for her mother. Her mother woke up and said that she would not need for the paramedics to come to the home. The dispatcher said she was going to send someone over anyway and Elin said that is alright but not a priority.
Sigh…it is like the hits just keep on coming with this woman. I know there are kids involved and I believe that she her love for Tiger is genuine but at this point this is a bust. Take the money and just go away. This man at the end of the day was selfish and put her through hell. If she knew about it was quiet and was being dealt with that way, just the way I am guessing that she wanted it to be. The autonomy that she appreciated since meeting him is completely gone. She has the cash, take the kids and move somewhere, anywhere where she can get some of that back for herself and more importantly the children. I don’t know her or clam is relate but this as a outsider looking in, this is just seems like too much.
This is why I say that if you choose to leave a man, do it quickly and cleanly. As fast as possible. Now Elin’s poor mom has to pay for her son in law’s transgressions.
