Note: I have no idea if the dude in the above photo is the “manny” being described in the following story, but this is a recent (9/22) photo of Kim Kardashian and the guy looks like either security or childcare. So, yes, Kim revealed in a new episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians that she hired a male nanny this year because she wanted her kids to have more male influence. I would imagine that’s partly because her ex-husband is not super-involved with the nitty-gritty of child-rearing.
Kim Kardashian wants to make sure her kids have the best influences in their lives. On the latest episode of The Kardashians, the mom of four, 42, opened up about hiring a male nanny to spend time with son Saint, 7½.
“It’s really hard for me to be really strict and to discipline a lot,” Kardashian admits. “My parents weren’t strict at all and sometimes because I’m really busy, it would be amazing if I had a partner who would tap me out and take over and handle it but, you know, it can’t happen like that.”
“I do think that my household and even our family is very female-dominated. I recently hired a manny. I really wanted a male around that would be picking them up and taking them to sports, and I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that.”
Despite her hesitation to tell ex Kanye West — with whom she also shares Psalm, 4, Chicago, 5, and North, 10 — things went well when they were introduced.
“When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself. They played two-on-two with Saint and him. He’s been so nice to him, like ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son’ — because he handed him the ball really easily or something — he’s like, ‘Don’t do that, have him get it himself. It’s some of the rules I would want.’ And I was like ‘Oh my God, okay.'”
She has every reason to be terrified of Kanye’s reaction. Kanye seems to react poorly to every man in Kim’s life and his kids’ lives. While things might be okay now between Kanye and the manny, it could go sideways in a hurry. I hope Kim is prepared to protect this guy from her ex, should that happen. Anyway, I’m all for “mannies.” I’m sure Saint and Psalm appreciate having a male influence in their lives too. Kim has gone full soccer mom – I think it’s Saint who is really into soccer right now.

Seems like Kanye has been too busy running around Europe forcing his new wife to parade around in pantyhose to spend time with his kids. Good for her for hiring a male nanny.
I find it odd that none of her female nannies are allowed to get pap’d…yet the male nanny does? This is all for a story line for their show. When this family gets desperate, they use Kanye to get people talking. Works every time !
Aside from drama with Kanye (there’s a lot, and it’s serious), I love that her kids to see a man doing childcare work. It’s important for kids, boys and girls, to experience men doing domestic and childcare labor so it’s normal for them. My son has only had female nannies so far, and I’d love for him to have a man caring for him in the future!
Why does Kim feel that anyone has to know this? Do what you want or have to for your kids. I mean I know I’ll be pilloried for this but maybe she should have thought about Kanye and parenting before she continued to procreate with a person she knew to be unstable.
She loves attention, that’s why. She wants the media to start gossiping that she is having a fling with the Manny. That ia what’s she hoping we’ll talk about. This family is beyond gross. They can’t handle not being in the spotlight for even one second. Don’t believe a word they say. It’s all for their stupid show. Kanye can’t get her attention anymore. Doing nudie pics doesn’t get her attention anymore either. What does she have left? I mean why does the Manny need to go to Saint’s game? I could see some security going, but why the Manny? Kim is there. This is all so fake.

I think it’s pretty hilarious to suggest that Kim IS involved in the nitty gritty of child-rearing. And I’d bet she’s talking about hiring this ‘manny’ just as a way to shade Kanye, and frankly, Kim’s constant need to criticize/shade Kanye in the press, certainly makes it look like Kim cares more about “winning” in the media, than she cares about how such statements could hurt her children. To be clear, im NOT saying that Kanye doesnt deserve criticism, but unless Kim wants to be just as bad as Kanye, at which point she has no business throwing jabs, then she should save her criticisms to give to him directly. And Kim is hardly mother of the year. Wasn’t it earlier this year that Kim took North to some gala, took pics with North on the red carpet, and then left North standing outside (with security) while Kim went in and enjoyed herself?
