This isn’t really breaking news, but we have access to these new photos of Elin Woods without Tiger, and without her wedding ring. Elin has been spotted only a handful of times since the whole Tiger-bangin’-everybody scandal rocked the world. Over the weekend, Elin was spotted without her wedding ring too – but there might be something more to it today. First, here’s Us Weekly’s report:
On Tuesday, Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren made another rare public appearance, carrying 2-year-old daughter, Sam, in Windermere, Fla. Her beleaguered husband, 33, was M.I.A. So was her wedding ring.
Nordegren, 29, also wasn’t wearing her ring when she was photographed at a Florida gas station over the weekend, either.
Nordegren — who recently bought a lavish $2.15 million estate on its own private island in Vaxholm, Sweden, in her own name — is considering her options and “taking the time she needs,” best friend Mia Parnevik recently told Us Weekly. “It’s very sad. She came to so many of Tiger’s games! She was very supportive!”
As for how he repaid her loyalty?
“I am both shocked,” said Parnevik, “and not shocked.” On Dec. 11, Woods, 33, admitted for the first time to cheating on his wife. He said that he is taking an “indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.”

Add to that a little report TMZ has – apparently, a moving truck and two utility trucks were spotted on the Woods’ Florida property, and the rumor going around is that Elin is packing up the house. There’s also a rumor that at least one room in the house is destroyed, part of Elin and Tiger’s fight on Thanksgiving, and that might be why the utility vans were there – to repair the damage. Meh. Your guess is as good as mine.
OK! Magazine is also reporting that Elin gave a statement to them about her children: they are, in Elin’s words, “doing just fine.” A witness to Elin and the children’s comings and goings also told OK! that “they looked happy and healthy. It seemed like they had no idea there was any sort of problem.” It really is my hope that Elin is preparing to leave Tiger – I just don’t see how there is any way possible to repair the marriage.

What’s the count up to now again? 14? 16? As soon as I heard the words “unprotected sex” I’d have grabbed the kids and gotten the hell out. Gross. I don’t think I could ever forgive him.
yeah, I think the marriage is def kaput, it’s now just a matter of working out the logistics.
I hope she’s also getting all sorts of STD tests and an HIV test done. Gawd. I can’t even imagine.
well, good for her. she needs to go away and have some privacy for a while while she works things out and maybe starts to heal from all this drama.
@Anastasia — Tests will have to be retaken in six months and then at a year. What a lovely reminder to a mom that her then-husband had restless penis syndrom.
I still stand by my original prediction that she will divorce him. The totality and the sordidness or these multiple skanks and porn stars is enough to turn off any woman rich or poor. Most women might forgive one short-term affair, but the sheer amount and the escorts are just too much. I don’t think anyone could forgive and forget that kind of public humiliation and deceit and trust to move forward. Once a man cheats, your feelings change at least mine do and it never lasts much longer after the trust is broken.

There’s no way she will stay. I believe she was in it for true love. Her self-esteem and love for her children will drive her away from the pitiful Mr. Woods.

It’s a good thing the children are so young that they can’t realize what’s going on. As difficult as it is, it would be so much worse if they were school age and could hear all the gossip/jokes about their father and his “activities”.
There is no cure, that I know of for narcissism. Tiger showed his true character with his dangerous debauchery and deceipt. Elin can take time to sort out her best move and do what she feels is right her and the kids
Elin is so lovely and those two little children are precious. What a waste.
I would pack up and head back to Sweden, too. Why raise those innocent kids in an environment polluted with scandal.
Although Tiger will be in her life forever because of the kids, I hope she can get to a place where he means nothing to her. He never deserved Elin to begin with.

Josefin is about 6 inches taller than Elin and a little different looking. Maybe its her, but I really think it looks more like Elin.

yeah, she will divorce him. there’s no fixing that mess. but it is good that she’s “taking the time she needs” – the poor woman can’t make it happen overnight, and she’s got to figure out what to tell her kids on top of figuring out the logistics, the money, her own grief, etc. her kids are mercifully quite young now, but eventually they will be old enough to read this crap about their father – tiger will be lucky if they still speak to him once they’re old enough to fully understand.
So now the paps are stalking her and the kids, that is really pathetic

I think she’s being responsible for taking time for herself, she has a lot of things to try and absorb and deal with. She needs to gather herself and take herself and her kids out of there asap, imo. It’s all very unfortunate for the kids. Their whole world has just been turned upside down.
In a somewhat related note it turns out one of Tiger’s doctors is now being investigated by Canadian officials and the FBI for steroids… This is already getting quite a bit of play on ESPN today. There’s no evidence Tiger took anything but if he gets involved in a scandal involving golf, his whole career could be officially beyond the point of redemption and I would expect more sponsors to walk.
It’s no big deal if she moves it to another country. She’s been home with the kids 24/7 while he’s been out dicking everything with a pulse. It’s just business as usual for the kids. How shameful for him but he probably doesn’t know it yet.
I totally agree that Elin should divorce the fool and be rid of him. It was bad enough with the first one or two but now it’s 14 and most of them are by-the-hour girls who have slept with who knows how many men. Hopefully, Elin didn’t get a disease from him and his tramps!!
As for taking the babies to Sweden . . . yes, she might but she cannot do it unless Tiger approves. Of course, she could “steal” them but that would be difficult with the paps camping outside her house 24/7. She needs to do everything by the book and get all the money coming to her. I pretty much agree with everything that’s already been said here. I think the fact, she wants to move back to Sweden, away from all the media, is good, both for herself and the kids.
Tiger having unprotected sex with all these women, just tells you, he had no consideration for his wife. It’s bad enough, him sleeping with all of them, but not using condoms, is just sickening.

Her children are young enough to adapt. I doubt that Tiger Woods was really there for his kids. 14 mistresses/hoes/porn stars/whatever, all of whom never showed up to support him, but he had the time for them.
The oldest is 2? and he was constantly on the road, so i doubt their life is being “turned upside down” like someone said, for them its business as usual. they will not know the difference, which is why she needs to leave NOW

Honestly, kendall, we would care just the same, and I don’t even know what you’re trying to say here. Not only that but they all don’t look so white to me. The one with the text messages…what’s her name, I can’t keep track of them all…looked distinctly light brown to me. But so what??
From everything that has come out, they had no marriage so it would seem best for all concerned to make that official. At the end of the day, it will be a relief to both. When the dust settles they will both be better off, able to live the lifestyle of thier choosing.
I happen to agree with the head of Nike that this is a minor blip. Once they are divorced if Tiger gets back to his winning ways, his choice of lifestyle will be irrelevant.
