Here are some photos from last night’s London premiere of Argylle. I couldn’t even make it through the trailer, but from what I gather, it’s Matthew Vaughn’s latest attempt at a glossy-yet-quirky action film full of British actors. He’s still trying to recreate the magic of Layer Cake (his first film) but nothing will ever touch it, honestly. Argylle is so full of celebrities, I couldn’t even fit all of the premiere photos in this post.
One big headline is that Henry Cavill brought his girlfriend to the premiere, a fact which I’m sure will upset the Cavill-cade or whatever his fans call themselves. Cavill has been with Natalie Viscuso for something like three years, and this isn’t the first time they’ve walked a carpet together. It feels like his fans aren’t in a full-blown panic about Natalie anymore, which is nice. Hopefully everyone has chilled out. They look nice together and three years together isn’t bad at all. Her ensemble is…not my jam. It feels very bridal in a weird way and that coat is just awful. Cavill always looks like a casino pit boss whenever he wears a suit.
Other photos…Dua Lipa looked fantastic, and I’m loving this hair color on her. Claudia Schiffer (Matthew Vaughn’s wife) looked beautiful and she got to carry the “cat backpack,” which is something significant in the film. Bryce Dallas Howard looked SO GOOD in that striking green gown. That’s one of the best things she’s ever worn!! Bonus pics of Sam Rockwell and Mark Strong (Strong looked delicious).

I actually like everyone’s look here as far as the women go. I especially like Dua and Bryce’s dresses – though I hate Dua’s hair (her makeup was done by Lisa Eldridge and so I have no complaints about that because Lisa does no wrong).

When Henry was a struggling actor years ago, my friends and I gave him a ride and bought him a burger (we were in our 20s, we all did stupid things) honestly because he was so gorgeous and we were three single women bar hopping. But omg he is SO short that his proportions look off. I’m almost 6′ and I could see clear over the top of his head.
I don’t who you gave a ride that night but it can’t have been Henry Cavill. He is like 6′ or 6’1 tall.
Great looks from everyone. Claudia has not aged and I want whatever she is drinking. And Mark Stong is my new crush – he looks delicious indeed. And I am glad to see him in more roles, I think he’s a great actor.

I’ve just realized I have negative feelings about any kind of rings on a man (except wedding rings), especially if they’re worn on any finger except the ring finger. Pinky rings are particularly egregious. Mark Strong, appealing though he is, is not exempt.

I liked the dress Henry Cavill’s girlfriend wore to the South Korea premiere much more. It was black and cut much like Bryce Dallas Howard’s dress here. I saw people call it “slutty” online, but I’m guessing those same folks wouldn’t say the same of Bryce’s dress when the only difference is that Natalie just has, erm, more going on up top. If you’re a C cup or over, the same dress people refer to as “tastefully elegant” less busty women “distasteful” and “slutty.”
I agree that the two of them look good together. I also agree that Henry Cavill looks like a mob boss in most of his suits. He also looks like he’ll bust out of them like the Hulk if he lifts his arms too high. He often goes with Saville Row tailors, and he needs to branch out if he wants to keep up with the powerlifting. He knows Dwayne Johnson, so he should hit him up for his tailoring contacts. The Rock always looks so comfortable in his suits; he wears them the same way most people wear sweats.
At any rate, I love Bryce’s dress. Mark Strong looks FINE. And I love Dua’s dress and makeup, but something is off about the hair for me. It might just be that I wear my hair like she has hers every. single. day, so it doesn’t feel right to me to wear it in such a casual way with such a fancy dress. Dua’s so damn gorgeous that it hardly detracts, though.
I’m a millennial, so I’m fine with a side part, but BDH is sporting a combover here. Great dress, though. I’ve never understood the hype around Henry Cavill; his girlfriend must have short arms, too, because the sleeves on that jacket are way too long. That’s all. I’m off to think about Mark Strong the rest of the day.
LOL in the bridal. Henry’s GF wore a very different look to the Asian premier. Black dress with plunging neckline to the waist. She had to have been taped into it. Scrambled to the message boards. There was the expected crying and throwing up, but more STFU and let the lady wear what she wants. Don’t know whether it’s just the relationship having been around a while, or if attitudes on girlfriend hate overall are changing, but it was good to see.

It was rumoured because she was pregnant when she played in the X-Men movie he directed. Sudeikis is also rumoured, I think people talk about him more because his two children look a lot like Jones’ son.
Okay, I have to confess that I have quite the crush on Henry, I’ve watched his interviews and the entire video of him building his PC, and yes, I’d love to spend a shallow hour with him. He seems to be quite dorky and fun, with a bit of a naughty side, which I really like.
I just want to see the cute French Bulldog Rory (who has a puppy crush on the actor) see and meet him again.
Cavill always looks like the person who makes his suits couldn’t fit him in and just gave up thinking “that’ll do !”.
