Halle Bailey was so pretty at the SAG Awards in a cranberry netted Dolce & Gabbana mermaid gown. She just had a baby a few months ago, we don’t know exactly when, a son named Halo. She told People Magazine on the red carpet that he loves taking photos. How old is he?! She also said she misses him when she’s away, which is sweet. She is just 23, she is going to have such a long career.
Ciara also had a baby two months ago, her fourth child, daughter Amora! She was killing it in big hair and a pleather cutout dress by X Venus Prototype X. I love the 90s vibe of this dress and her look. Ciara and Russell were flirty at the ceremony!
Nominee Danielle Brooks was in a Christian Siriano gown featuring asymmetric ombre purple ruffles and a half jacket. This was a confusing gown and not my favorite but I loved her red carpet interview with Laverne Cox. They worked together on Orange is the New Black for years and were so happy for each other’s success.
I liked Taraji P. Henson’s whole vibe at the SAGs. She was in a black Giambattista Valli gown and her styling was impeccable. Her jewelry is Bulgari!
Presenter President Barbie Issa Rae was working it in a slinky champagne-colored Suzanne Kalan gown. Everyone was saying they want a romcom with Issa and Glen Powell!

Halle was perfection but I will add one negative – I wish the busts on these dresses came up just a wee bit higher.
Halle’s dress is beautiful except for the mermaid tale. i get the reference but have never understood that style. The color of the dress is gorgeous, though, as is she.
And I am a longtime fan of Taraji Henson and she looks perfect. I would love to see her in color but she’s a knock-out either way.
Halle looked gorgeous. She’s got a mermaid dress on! Danielle looks like they took 2 completely different dresses cut them in half and sewed half of each together. Strange.
I feel like Siriano’s gowns are frequently overwrought. I really appreciate that he makes a point of dressing women of all shapes and sizes and doesn’t think average-size women need to hide their bodies, but they still want flattering!
Halle looks like a doll. I’m glad she jumped back into the spotlight to show she is ready to get back to work–I want to see her in everything.

Taraji looked amazing. Love Ciara’s hair. Halle looked pretty as well – she’s so young I’m not surprised she snapped back so quickly post-pregnancy. I’m not feeling Issa’s dress though I love her hair. As for her and Glen Powell doing a rom-com. That dude has zero personality so Issa would be carrying the film all by herself.
Both Halle and Taraji look beautiful, especially that cranberry shade of red used for Halle’s dress.

I feel like Danielle’s dress could have been fun in theory, but something went wrong somewhere in the process of creating it.
I am such a sucker for a mermaid dress and I LOVE Halle’s look. Personally if I was wearing this dress I would be worried about my chest falling out because it’s so low, but hopefully the girls were secured!
