Gwyneth Paltrow put her LA home on the market right after Moses graduated

Gwyneth Paltrow’s two kids have officially flown the coop (or goop). Apple Martin graduated from high school a few years ago and, as far as I know, she’s still enrolled in college far away from LA. Now Moses Martin has graduated from high school too. There’s been no announcement about whether he plans to go to college too, but I would guess that he probably will, at least for a few years. Reportedly, Moses is very musical (like his dad) and everyone says that he’s a good kid. Anyway, now that Moses is officially a high school graduate, Gwyneth is selling her LA house! Like, I think Gwyneth is a conceited nutjob, but I will always enjoy her real estate. So please enjoy this crazy real estate p0rn:

Gwyneth Paltrow is preparing for an empty nest. After the actress’ youngest child, son Moses, graduated from high school, she put her Los Angeles mansion on the market for $29.99 million. Listing agent Lea Porter told the Wall Street Journal Friday that Paltrow, 51, is looking to downsize.

The Goop founder bought the 8,000-square-foot home for $9.95 million in 2012 while married to her now-ex-husband, Chris Martin, with whom she shares Moses, 18, and daughter Apple, 20.

The former couple’s eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom home was built in 1950 and renovated in 2009.
When Paltrow moved on with Brad Falchuk, the “Glee” co-creator, 53, moved in along with his two kids — Isabella and Brody — from a previous marriage.

The sprawling home is at the end of a winding driveway and has a gray brick exterior. Its entryway, with black-and-white tiles and French doors, leads to a living room complete with a fireplace, a bar and bookshelves. As for the kitchen, it features a marble island, built-in cabinets and a wood-burning oven. The backyard, complete with a plunge pool, also has a guesthouse boasting a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a gym, a game room, an office and a movie theater. Additionally, there is a one-bedroom apartment above the garage.

Paltrow has houses in Montecito, Calif., and Amagansett, NY, but may purchase another LA home, Porter revealed.

I remember when Gwyneth made a big deal about moving back to America after spending many years living in London, when she was married to Chris. They were still married when they relocated to LA, although that felt like the beginning of the end of their marriage. I was always sort of surprised that post-divorce, Chris stayed in LA too. But that was part of the conscious uncoupling, and Chris stayed involved with Apple and Moses. I guess Brad Falchuk’s kids are out of the house too… let me look it up… yes, Brody Falchuk is Moses’s age so he probably graduated this year too. Isabella Falchuk is 19 or 20, so she’s probably in college. Incidentally, Gwyneth always tried to minimize the messiness around Brad’s divorce (he left his wife for Gwyneth), but that’s why she and Brad maintained separate homes for a year after they married. Because his kids did not want to move into Gwyneth’s home.

Anyway, I hate to say it but Gwyneth’s LA home is f–king gorgeous and whoever decorated it did a great job. These photos are amazing.

The ultimate, untalented nepo-baby who has taken to shilling absolute nonsense as her acting career faded has her house on the market for 30 million. Lort. I hate to see women attacked in the media, but she really is just awful.

I didn’t realize that Falchuk left his wife for her. What a couple of assh-les.

According to Wikipedia, “Falchuk’s first wife was television producer Suzanne Bukinik, whom he began dating in 1994. The couple were married in 2002 and had two children. They filed for divorce in 2013. Falchuk had met actress Gwyneth Paltrow on the set of Glee in 2010, and they began dating in 2014 when his first marriage ended.” Sounds like prior relationships of both Gwyneth and Falchuk ended before they began hooking up with each other.

Yes, her house is beautiful. I’m guessing that the house will be sold with most of the furniture.

I made a dollhouse based upon her home during the pandemic (w celebrity zooms and real estate listings, it was easy). The reason I chose her home was bc she seemed to me the ultimate influencer, someone completely detached from reality, plugged into vanity, and making money successfully on it. Her house was featured in Veranda Magazine and I used that for primary research of the home, along with G’ s numerous goop zooms. I can see that Gwyneth did a few big renovations on the kitchen and in the backyard. It’s sort of a weird thing to see that she’s selling it now bc the dollhouse took a few years to build, so there’s a small attachment on my part lol, nd I’m sad to see she’s selling it…but she’s clearly got that compound in Montecito to retreat to!

What a fantastic project, I’d love to see pictures. I’m a huge fan of miniature versions of anything.

I have pics posted on my Instagram, @candyconstantly. I also did Dita Von Teese’s Hollywood home. Say hi ! I don’t mind sharing this with my fellow awesome celebitchy readers

Looks like a nice place. I am not a fan of hers AT ALL but I will say her kids seem to stay out of trouble and are continuing their education, so that’s good.

That’s not the same house she’s living now I don’t think. Because AD did a spread on one of her houses and that is not the same kitchen (with the blue plates) and I didn’t see a pic of that amazing spa she had.

    • Mina_Esq says:

I was thinking the same thing! I like the house with the spa, and the weird chandelier in living room and that marvellous marble bar. That must be the Montecito house. She posts her breakfast cooking videos from there.
      I love that house.

  7. Kirsten says:

If this is a house that she bought with Martin, I would bet that they agreed that she and the kids could stay until they’d both graduated and then she’d sell and they’d split the profits.

  8. Sasha says:

The house tour she has with AD is incredible. Looks like a dream home.

It looks like she got an eyelid lift, but I think it’s just unfortunate eye shadow.
