I get that Tila Tequila is devastated that her fiance of one month died unexpectedly. It’s just that the more this woman courts the press, from making wild claims that Nicky Hilton is euthanizing Casey’s dogs to Tweeting about how she’s been wronged, the more it looks like she’ll take any excuse to hog the spotlight. The latest in the Tila saga has her complaining about how she was barred from Casey’s funeral while claiming she’s on suicide watch. Of course she’s still on Twitter and just tweeted that she’s happy again over some new venture she’s going to announce tomorrow.

While Radar reported that Casey’s funeral was held in New Jersey over the weekend, E! Online states that the funeral has yet to take place. They also have some quotes from Tila that are ripe as usual, including her claims that “Casey would want me to take care of [her adopted daughter] Ava.”

Despite widespread reports—not to mention our own expectations—Casey Johnson was not laid to rest today at her family’s burial plot in New Jersey, a source close to the Johnsons tells E! News.

But that didn’t stop Tila Tequila from trying to make the story about her.

“I don’t want to talk about the funeral,” Tequila tells us. “I wasn’t allowed to go and I am so upset. I can’t sleep and I am on suicide watch.”

While Tequila may be the only one on suicide watch, she wasn’t the only one not invited to the service, which is shaping up to be a private affair possibly now taking place tomorrow. Several of the heiress’ Hollywood pals, including Paris Hilton and former gal-pal Courtenay Semel, didn’t make the guest list.

Tequila, nominally Johnson’s fiancée, also addressed the theory brought up on Johnson’s 911 call that the socialite may have taken her own life.

“It was an accident for sure,” Tequila said. “She was so happy and wasn’t ready to die.”

Although autopsy results are still weeks away, Tequila believes Johnson’s death last Monday was related to diabetes.

“She gave me a book and told me what to do if something like that happened to her in the middle of the night,” Tequila said. “She knew if she wasn’t treated then she could die.”

Tequila also insisted that “Casey would want me to take care of [Johnson’s daughter] Ava” and is still stewing about the visit paid by Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips earlier this week to collect Johnson’s two dogs, a poodle named Zoe and a Yorkie called Elvis, and various belongings.

“They all lied to me,” Tequila said. “I just want the dogs back and make sure they are OK…I want it all back.”

At the time, Tequila said she feared Hilton and Phillips were going to put the dogs to sleep. However, sources tell E! News that the dogs have been seen by a veterinarian and are in good shape.

Tila takes the “Casey wanted me to care for her daughter” claims further on Twitter, and writes that the Johnson family was against it because Casey was gay. “Casey wanted me to Adopt Ava & was already calling me her Mommy. I bet this is all because they are against LESBIANS! So wrong!” These two went to NY last month to try and retrieve Ava from Casey’s mother and were unsuccessful. They were incapable of caring for themselves, not to mention a child.

Tila is still claiming on Twitter that Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips put Casey’s dogs to sleep. They of course came over to claim the dogs on behalf of the Johnson family last week. Her last tweet on it was 11 hours ago. (It was not her last tweet of the day.) “Remember that heartless video of Nikky and that other chick stealing my dogs? They put the dog to sleep to bury with my wife today.” That’s not true at all, the dogs were just taken to the vet after being recovered and they’re sure to be fine. It doesn’t matter to poor victim Tila, though, the more crazy things she tweets the more people pay attention to her.

E! also reports that Tila will be on Larry King Live Tuesday, as if there aren’t more pressing issues to cover than Tila and her grief. I hope Tila is just making wild claims that aren’t true as usual. One of Casey’s ex friends who is arguing with Tila on Twitter claims the show was canceled. Larry King’s official website has no news of an upcoming appearance by Tila and Tuesday’s show will have news of a third White House party crasher.

And in related news, there’s speculation that Tila’s engagement to Casey was all part a plot hatched by Girls Gone Wild douche Joe Francis. Tila posted a video announcing her engagement in which she and Casey were lying in bed in their bras and panties. She showed off her ring and bragged about it, and then announced that she was going to have sex with Casey once the camera was off. Casey lightly grabbed Tila’s boob at the end. The NY Daily News says the whole thing was masterminded by Francis, as if Tila needs any help promoting herself. “Some insiders believe… Joe Francis was the secret architect of the sad spectacle, which they say was designed to hype Tequila’s Francis-financed Web site.”
