Here are some photos of King Charles and Queen Camilla today in Cardiff, Wales. Charles used to be the Prince of Wales, and he used to regularly visit Wales and he even speaks some Welsh. The current PoW does not speak any Welsh, nor does he regularly visit Wales, nor does he have any interest in forging connections with Welsh people.
Well, today’s visit to Cardiff was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Welsh Parliament, Senedd Cymru. Charles made a speech (in English and and some Welsh) and a quiet time was had by all:

So, here’s the question: why didn’t the Prince of Wales attend this anniversary event? Don’t get me wrong, I understand why they wanted King Charles there, and I’m quite sure that Charles is more warmly received in Cardiff than his heir. But this is exactly the kind of event which Prince William should attend as the Prince of Wales. Meanwhile, William decided that today – of all days – was the moment he should give a big speech on how he can “end homelessness.” There are larger questions about whether Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace are actually coordinating their schedules because I don’t think they are. BP stepped in back in March and took over the KP clownshow after KP completely bungled everything around Kate’s disappearance. But over the past month or so… we’ve seen that the clowns are back in charge. It’s interesting, I guess.
Also, it goes without saying that this week’s flurry of royal activity is directly related to Prince Harry receiving the Pat Tillman Award for Service this evening.

That’s one ugly necklace
Camilla, what is going on with the dress? That asymmetric eyelash trim is giving fashion-school senior project.
I’m stuck on that plain stitching right across the abdomen which makes the eyelash trim look even worse.
The stitching looks like a quick hackjob done this morning to fix some kind of issue. But I can’t think of an issue that that would be the fix for that couldn’t be done less obviously.
I got stuck on how it looks like someone hit her on the head and pushed her hat down too far. I had to scroll back up to look at the dress.
William should be embarrassed by how ill-equipped and lazy he is. His father has cancer, FFS, and he’s working a lot harder.
(On a shallower note: Camilla’s hat is too casual for this occasion. And for the love of all that’s holy, can someone buy her a better bra?)

I really think she’s obsessed with Meghan’s Dior outfit from the last Jubilee. She’s such a horrible person. Drives Diana to her grave, drives her sons apart and separates them from their father; then steals from Di’s DIL’s wardrobe. I’m sorry, I can’t ever say anything nice about her. And I’m sure some of y’all are ’bout to be posting about how nice that horse looks. Please stop.

So I get that they’re trying to look busy this week bc of Harry. But surely William could have done his speech on a different day this week. Rather than the day in which Charles is in Wales. But then again, why didn’t he go to Wales? Was it the school runs?😂
I wonder if Charles didn’t want him to go to Wales so the focus was all on him? Maybe he planned his speech so it looked like he wasnt being excluded from the event?
Or maybe he just didn’t want to go, both possibilities seem likely in my head.

Camilla’s hats are hideous. They’re way too big. Her dresses look like lounging house dresses – so shapeless… Yuck.
The dresses look shapeless because she has developed a very matronly sbape. My mother had this shape and this type dress was the only shape that fit. Very few choices for her then.
I’m not sweating this. The Queen used to go to the opening of the Senedd.
