Pregnant Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, went to Wimbledon

As many of you probably know, Wimbledon concluded on Sunday, July 14. A lot of celebrities came out for the tournament this year, from Zendaya to Hugh Jackman to Hannah Waddingham. On Friday, Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley also made an appearance. Last week, Margo announced that she was pregnant with her first child, so Wimbledon was also her official bump debut! Margo wore a white dress with black polka dots by Alaïa. It had an asymmetric hem and one sleeve that draped over her shoulder. And y’all, they were loved up. There are pictures of them kissing, of Margot holding onto Tom with a back hug, and of Tom with his hand over her bump. There’s even one of Margot licking Tom’s nose! I’m surprised they even watched any of the matches, hehe.

When Robbie stepped out for day 12 of Wimbledon on Friday, she debuted her chic maternity style and cradled her growing baby bump. Earlier this week, news broke that the Barbie actress is expecting her first child with her director husband, Tom Ackerley. The parents-to-be, both 34, attended the tennis tournament together at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England.

In photos captured from the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Robbie smiles as she sweetly rests her hand over her baby bump while sitting next to her husband in beige. The couple — who met in 2013 on the set of 2014’s Suite Française — were also spotted in the stands flirting and kissing throughout the afternoon.

In 2016, it was reported that the pair tied the knot during a secret ceremony in Australia. In the weeks that followed, Robbie proudly sported her diamond wedding ring during a red carpet appearance, confirming the nuptials.

At Wimbledon, Robbie stunned in a white dress from the Alaïa fall/winter 2024 collection covered in black, grommet-style polka dots. The dress draped across her shoulders and ended just above her knees in an asymmetric hem. She accessorized with a pair of black mules, black geometric sunglasses and a black-and-white Alaïa handbag. Her hair was styled down and she wore minimal jewelry.

Although Robbie hasn’t dressed her bump much for the public, she’s now proven that she has already nailed maternity style. This isn’t surprising, considering that she showcased countless fashionable looks during her expansive Barbie press tour last year. We can surely expect to see more stylish baby bump dressing from the Suicide Squad star as her pregnancy progresses.

They’re so cute together. Margot looks so happy! I wish her nothing but the best and hope she has an easy, healthy pregnancy. I don’t really want to speculate about how far along she is because all bodies are different, but she’s got to be solidly into her second trimester since most women do not announce their pregnancies until they are out of the first one. Also, Tom is pretty hot, not gonna lie. They are a very good looking couple, my goodness.

Alright, onto the fashion! Thoughts on her dress? It’s…okay? I’ll be honest, I don’t love it, but that’s because it’s not my style at all. I truly cannot stand asymmetrical dresses and personally avoid them at all costs. I’m not talking about just the hem. I’ve also never been on board with the asymmetrical sleeves, either. Am I just being an old fuddy duddy here? It does look very tennis tournament-y, though. It’s also weird to see Margot in such a “normal” dress since we’ve spent the last year seeing her dress up as a Barbie doll nonstop. Speaking of, Margot had the chance to do the funniest thing ever, and that’s dress up like pregnant Midge at Wimbledon.

I don’t care for the shoes or the dress

The nose lick was a bit strange, but they seem happy and that’s all that matters!

    • Smart&Messy says:

I agree on all points. Her face could stop traffic though. And they look so happy. I can’t wait to see what new projects they come up with after the baby break.

    • Yup, Me says:

The shoulder part of the dress looks like a baby drape I used to wear for easy breastfeeding in public.

And that nose lick makes me think she’s definitely in her 2nd trimester, when a lot of women feel sexy and cute. The illness of the first trimester with so many of those initial hormone adjustments have passed, but baby isn’t very big so your lungs and internal organs aren’t squished, heartburn hasn’t set in yet AND you’re sleeping at night.

      It’s a lovely time.

      • Wagiman says:

I can’t tell but I wonder if the shawl bit wraps around and she’s simply got it draped on one side?

  2. Jais says:

It looks comfortable. Cute polka dots. But no to the shoes.

  3. SarahCS says:

I was meh on the dress until the full length picture of her walking towards the camera and now I hate it, the shoes are not helping either.

It’s so nice seeing people so happy together and I’m also glad I wasn’t sitting behind them!

    • Pinkosaurus says:

Me too! I thought it was fine but not great from the side with the halter, but from the front it looks like an annoying mess. That drapey sleeve over my arm would drive me crazy. It looks comfortable though!

  4. Lady Rae says:

Clearly didn’t use her stylist for this outing.

  5. Jayna says:

She radiates happiness, but I don’t care for that mess of a dress. He looked fantastic with that outfit on his tall, great physique. I loved his sunglasses on him. A couple still in love is the best look, though, on anyone.

  6. sevenblue says:

Licking his nose reminded me of Charlize Theron getting asked by her date to make out with his nose 😂😂 Margot looks very happy and pretty. You can’t really comment on a dress. Margot is wearing it, so it looks very stylish and cool. I don’t know how it would look on me though 😭😭

  7. JanetDR says:

They are adorable and the dress is a no for me. Pregnant Midge would have been awesome!

  8. SIde Eye says:

She looks stunning. She really is happiness personified, but not in an annoying way. I really like her!

    • Mil says:

Yeah, they look in love. I don’t care about her dress, she’s pregnant, let her wear whatever

  9. Alla says:

So many celebrities but not at the women’s finals

    • pme says:

Zendaya was also at the Women’s Final.

      • Mil says:

Zendaya looked awesome. But, that’s a given. She rarely misses and even then, I love that she’s taking risks.

      • Alla says:

And tom cruise was there too but the difference is notable. There were many more at the mens final. That’s sad.

  10. LoryD75 says:

I’ve never been pregnant, but I assume the changes a body goes through can be very unpredictable. It’s possible the dress is the one that fit and in which she felt the most comfortable.

  11. Dani says:

It’s so hard to find a comfortable outfit that fits when you’re pregnant. I think she looks great and comfy.
