Here are some photos from the big NYC premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast took over the city to hype this film. Some days, I wonder if Jackman regrets ever signing on to play Wolverine back in the 1990s. That man would rather be doing off-Broadway musicals. I’m including pics of Hugh, Ryan, Emma Corrin, Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid.
Fashion notes: Emma Corrin wore Nina Ricci, what was basically a furry bodysuit. Gigi Hadid wore a two-piece MiuMiu ensemble, and Blake Lively wore a custom Atelier Versace, which is supposed to look like a couture lady-version Deadpool costume. I get that Blake is very supportive of her husband and it’s a very cute idea, but that catsuit is not flattering.
All of Blake and Ryan’s kids attended the premiere, although the kids didn’t join them on the red carpet. I keep forgetting that they have four kids now. The fourth is just a baby, and Ryan revealed the fourth kid’s name on the red carpet: Olin. So now they have James, Inez, Betty and Olin. I actually like the name Olin – it’s old-fashioned but it doesn’t feel ancient.

I get that Lively and Hadid were going for couture Deadpool and Wolverine costumes but this is just bad. I am once again hoping that Blake Lively will one day try to hire a stylist.
Oh my gosh, this. I’m sorry but ALL the ladies look terrible. Emma has a body that could look good in anything but that bodysuit is making me wince.
Gotta say these outfits are so costumey and unflattering on both Lively and Corrin. Taking this was too literally.

Gigi! No! You are too young to remember the 00’s with these bandana style tops paired with low slung waists and pointlessly wide belts, but let me save you some time – nobody looks good in this silhouette. Nobody!
Gigi is a perfect mashup of Madonna and Wolverine which is not a thing I expected could exist. I don’t love it by itself, but is perfect given the use of Like a Prayer in the trailer (and maybe the movie?)
Blake is tall and pretty and looks good in almost everything, but all I can think of is how hot that outfit must be. It’s hot and humid all over the US, and she must have been sweaty. I’m sure Gigi was more comfortable in her outfit.

Of course she is. Because nepotism doesn’t require the person to be able to act. Just like Chris Hemswoth’s daughter in the last Thor movie. I’m just tired of it. But of course this movie will be a massive hit no matter what.
I am usually a fan of a lot of what Blake wears but this cat suit is bad. And if she can’t wear it, who in the world could??

As a woman with big boobs, I will say that I think Blake’s boobs look great in that outfit.
Blake’s got a great figure, that outfit is just ugly. I know she prides herself on not having a stylist, but dear god she needs one. Gigi’s and Emma’s outfits are also cringe. Gigi’s look is reminding me that extreme low-rise looks bad on everyone.

My mistake, Olin is a boy apparently. So he finally has the son he wanted, and now she may be able to work for 2 years straight.
Unpopular opinion- I know her body is insane but Blake always looks tacky to me. She ALWAYS takes it too far by over accessorizing or theme dressing to the extreme. See above 👆🏽 she needs a stylist to rein her in and tell her NO and less is more sometimes.
I agree, and she always tries hard to upstage him at his movie premières. She’s te epitome of overrated to me.
