Matt Damon & Luciana brought their four daughters to ‘The Instigators’ premiere

Matt Damon has a new movie, out on AppleTV this month. The Instigators stars Damon, Casey Affleck, Jack Harlow (!!), Ving Rhames, Hong Chau, Alfred Molina and more. I’m including the trailer below – it reminds me a bit of The Town, which was (arguably) Ben Affleck’s best directorial effort. It’s like “what if The Town was funny and the thieves had a therapist?”

Last night was the big premiere, and Matt brought his whole family out. His mom was there, his wife Luciana was there, and he posed with their four daughters. Matt Damon has been a girl-dad this whole time and I was like “wait, his daughters are that old already??” From People, their daughters and their ages: Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13, plus 24-year-old Alexia, who is Luciana’s daughter from a previous relationship (Matt raised Alexia and considers her one of his four kids). The girls are beautiful and they’re all sort of spectacular blends of Matt and Luciana? They got Matt’s cheekbones but with Luciana’s coloring and hair.

Also: Luciana apparently produced The Instigators and she “convinced” Matt to step into the role. I’m trying not to remember all of the dumb sh-t Matt has said over the years, and I just hope this promotional tour goes well and he doesn’t remind everyone of all of his gaffes.

Never mind them – more Hong Chau!

That is one gorgeous family. I love to hear about stepparents raising children as their own. It wasn’t that way for my mother and she and her siblings from her dad’s first family were damaged by it for their entire adult lives

I absolutely love that time – starting circa 2004 – when there was like a baby boom in Hollywood and everybody was preggers and having kids – tom
Cruise, brangelina, gwen stefani, ben affleck, etc etc etc. That was the when I had my kids. It was fun. And now so surprising how much time passes and how they’ve grown. Now i’m like, oh yeah, it’s been that long!

During all of the J-Lo/Ben drama and Violet’s graduation, Matt and Lucy’s daughter graduated also. There were paparazzi picks that caught them out on the sidewalk either going to it or after. Everyone looked so happy and the girls were beautiful.

I remember seeing photos caught of Lucy and Matt on the Hemsworth yacht with friends vacationing. It was clear none of them were aware a pap was shooting them from far away. They were all just hanging out lounging. At some point, Lucy and Matt sunning together got up and were being playful together, nothing showy. It showed me how they were still hot for each other in their private life and not some disconnected couple. After 20 years together, it was sweet to see a couple that lasted through ups and downs and that still found delight in each other.

In my mind, I was comparing it to the staged shots of Ben and J-Lo when they first got back together and went on the yacht with Bennie Medina and the rest of her crew, and she and Ben were clearly playing up for paparazzi shots. Even at one point they were being lovey-dovey and I thought, well, the paps caught them on the boat, but then the pap widened his video over and J-Lo had her own photographer who was standing there on the yacht taking photos of them lounging there being affectionate. I thought, well, Ben, you are participating in this choreographed rollout. Don’t complain later.

@Jayna … Beautifully said. I’ve been a Matt Damon fangirl since the mid-1990s. I was so happy when he and Lucia found each other. Glad to see they’re still together. LOL! She wanted to try for a 5th child to see if they might have a son, but Matt told her he was happy and getting too old for the all night feeding schedule. 🙂

Adorable. The youngest in particular is a stunner!

    • Molly says:

They’re all stunning, but I could only dream of being that pretty at 13. I was awk-WARD.

      • Barrett says:

all stunners. I see a little bit of Matt in the shortest girl (youngest) hair coloring. His wife is gorgeous. to begin with. When did she start to produce things? Kida interesting. Matt needs to watch his gaffes he’s got all these woman surrounding him at home!

The trailer looks like it might be a good movie, but I’m not support Casey Affleck in any way.

      Co-sign.
It’ll be a cold day in Hell before I support a single thing with Casey Affleck starring in it.
