Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have three children. They have a daughter, India Rose, 12, and twin boys, Tristian and Sasha, 10. Chris and Elsa are very family-oriented and are always showing off the Hemsworth family adventures on their social media accounts (including extended family). Obviously social media is not real life, but Chris seems to be a pretty hands-on father that clearly adores his kids. Over the weekend, Chris decided to try his hand at hairdressing. In an Instagram post, he revealed the at-home haircuts he gave Sasha and Tristian, and let me tell you, they are definitely something else.
Chris Hemsworth is finally pursuing his “one true passion,” and it isn’t acting. On Sunday, Aug. 4, the Thor star, 40, shared that he’s always dreamed of being a hairdresser and decided to test his skills out on his twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 10. The dad of three showed off his boys’ comical cuts on Instagram, posting a video that captures all angles of his sons’ new looks and a picture of the two posing together in a bakery.
“Hairdressing has always been my one true passion and as you can see the results speak for themselves đđ,” Hemsworth hilariously wrote in his caption.
Well, now we know why Thor was crying in Deadpool & Wolverine, LOL. Lordy, I hope he got those children some real haircuts after he took the pictures because my goodness! Chris should probably stick to acting. It makes for a great story, though, and if the kids are into it, then who cares because hair grows back. I think the Hemsworth family is in Spain right now because Elsa is filming a TV series called Matices. I wonder what she said when she got home and saw their haircuts. Actually, you know what? Upon second look, the haircuts look pretty punk, so maybe theyâll start some sort of trend.

Those are acceptable bowl haircuts. As someone who was a child in the 80s, I had a terrible image in mind of what heâd done. This is different and fine.
As a child of the 80s âŚ. Itâs not bad at all! Pretty punk I agree, the duck tail is interesting đ¤ but hair grows and kids like having fun.
He’s given the boys a very popular style (for males of all ages) in Australia at the moment – a version of the mullet (shaved sides) . Boys everywhere here are sporting this ‘style’ despite some schools trying to ban them.
I hate the haircuts, but their hair will grow back. The main thing is that they are both great parents to their kids (not that I know if they are, but that IS the main thing).
Chris and the kids are actually back in Australia while Elsa is working in Spain. Imagine her shock during that videocall!
I think he is being funnyâŚ
And the kids – ? They arenâât crying. They look part of the fade trend.
I did many times when my
Mother forced various styles on
me – especially perms – until I was 17 and moved away.
Just another dad complaining about the price of haircuts, ha!
That head shot of Chris in the gray suit is why they hired him to play George Kirk in the 2009 reboot Star Trek film. He and Chris Pine have similar features. And it’s something about that look in the eyes. đ
It’s a shame we never got to see the 4th Star Trek film with the two Chrises playing George and James Kirk. Sad the screenplay was never green-lighted. The studio said Chris and Chris wanted too much money for the film. But both were very excited about the film and working together, so who knows?
Yes, I was expecting worse, and saw them and said to myself, that’s not so bad. I don’t call that a real bowl cut. One boy said I’m so excited, and those boys are so adorable, they could get away with anything. And I do think the Hemsworths have a solid marriage, and are good parents. All respects to Elsa, but Chris is a most gorgeous man.
8th grade teacher in the US – these are 100% on trend with boys right now. If they don’t have the Alpaca cut, it’s this one.
Another man whose incompetence and laziness is packaged as “cute”.
