One thing about Taylor Swift is that she enjoys an after-party. Especially the VMA afterparties, she loves those most of all. Taylor must have invited a lot of VMA attendees to the Electric Lady Studios after the VMAs, because there really was a diverse crowd there. Wednesday night, Taylor partied with Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey (!!), Post Malone, Tate McRae, Suki Waterhouse, Flavor Flav and the Kid LAROI, among others. Her ensemble in these photos is Monse – she’s worn some custom pieces from the label, and clearly, she’s going through a real Monse phase.
Meanwhile, people are obviously still talking about Taylor Swift’s big political endorsement. On Tuesday night, just after Kamala Harris dog-walked an orange turd, Taylor endorsed the Harris-Walz ticket and encouraged people to educate themselves on the issues and register to vote. She included the link to vote.gov. In the 24 hours after her endorsement, vote.gov got over 405K visits. Normally, there are about 30,000 visits a day.
Post-endorsement, there are also many thinkpieces being written about what, if any, impact Taylor will have. If you’re looking for impact, just look at the panic which swept across MAGAland – conservative media was in meltdown, Donald Trump called into Fox News to bash Taylor (and praise Brittany Mahomes) and JD Vance was visibly peeved that a childless cat lady dared to have political opinions. Even Fox News knows that Taylor’s “childless cat lady” reference was devastating. Tim Walz is talking about his fellow cat-person on the campaign trail too.

Taylor looks beautiful and we certainly love her endorsement of Kamala/Walz ticket. Her outfit: it amazes me how people would pay for an outfit that looks worn out in photographs. Clothes are so supposed to look good not well worn. Maybe I am too old fashioned.

I agree. Everything about her reads that now! No more slight prissiness. She’s a different person. 🙂
Every time someone ponders what they have in common, I kind of raise an eyebrow and have that exact little ‘on the reg’ thought way back in my brain.
I suspect having one tortured poet in a relationship is enough. A relationship with big athletic dude who’s probably pretty straightforward, is arguably the best ever in his own lane, and who doesn’t seem to mind being Mr Swift… honestly, I won’t be surprised if they do end up settling down when Eras ends. I mean, it’s a celeb relationship so could all be done tomorrow, but who knows – might be the Beckhams MkII, only twice as wealthy.
The outfit looks like it features a print of a space ship flying above a wooded scene. If it’s custom – and even if it isn’t – that’s a reference to her song ‘Down Bad’ from the new album (she uses UFO imagery when she performs it on tour as well.) Taylor is super literal so maybe she’s signaling her next single…? It’s a good song.
