Saoirse Ronan wore Louis Vuitton to the 2024 Emmys: simple & pretty?

This summer, Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden had a quiet wedding and they only told people about it weeks later. Saoirse has been nominated for multiple Oscars and she’s widely considered to be one of the most talented women of her generation. It’s amazing that she manages to move around with so little attention and craziness. People love her husband too, and that’s why they attended the Emmys, because of Jack’s work on Slow Horses. Both Jack and Saoirse wore Louis Vuitton. This is one of the better LV looks I’ve seen in a while, which just shows that LV can make some good looks if they customize certain pieces for their brand ambassadors. Ronan’s jewelry is Bulgari.

Hannah Einbinder also wore LV. Jean Smart deserves the world! They were so happy when Hacks won Best Comedy.

Catherine O’Hara wore Oscar de la Renta – this was basically the sleeved version of the dress worn by Jennifer Aniston. Catherine wore it better.

Nava Mau, a winner for Baby Reindeer, wore Gigi Good. She got so emotional on the carpet with Laverne Cox!

I actually loved Gillian Anderson’s look. She wore a silver Emilia Wickstead in a simple silhouette. It was perfect.

Ok now I have a new new favorite lol. Gillian Anderson for the win! Wow! I also loved Catherine O’Hara! Stunning along with Ayo Edebiri and Naomi Watts.

  2. DaveW says:

While it looked good on her, to me Gillian Anderson’s dress looked like that padded foil packaging that is used for shipping cold/frozen foods.

I’m so glad people are paying attention to slow horses, it’s such a great show and I’m even happier for hacks!! Best comedy show on air right now.

  3. Skyblue says:

I’m here for Jack Lowden. I just binge-watched seasons 1-3 of Slow Horses, so much crazy spy fun! I’m holding off on watching season 4 for a bit, so I can savor it, in case there is no season 5.

My fave shows are getting love! We have really enjoyed both “Slow Horses” and “Hacks,” I didn’t know SR and JL tied the knot. It is like her to be so low-key though.

    I like everyone’s looks honestly.

  5. AM says:

Jack Lowden has all the comedic gifts of Simon Pegg plus the dramatic chops too. I just love him & can’t wait to see where his career goes!

  6. Pork Belly says:

I wish Gillian Anderson would go back to being a redhead. The blonde hair ages her.

    • Anna-Maria Ruhloff says:

She’s 56 and not using fillers, botox etc. Have we forgotten what 56 looks like? Her hair is not aging her. She’s gorgeous!

  7. Square2 says:

I’ve seen this silhouette of Emilia Wickstead dress many times (from other designers), some in maxi length, some in midi length. In heavier fabric, the skirt looks good on almost everyone.

Let’s hope next time when some famous persons wear this silhouette, Wickstead won’t say they copy her design. /s

    • Mayp says:

I side-eye anyone now that wears her clothes. Imagine, being so pissy about Meghan and Claire and then we find out that Meghan had been a customer of hers in the run up to the wedding. So, she was bashing her own client. Who could ever trust her again? Not to mention that she’s a racist cow.

  8. Lens says:

I love all these looks! Although I wish Jean had worn that dress in a color. Black was just overdone this year. And I would prefer Gillian’s in a different color as well (anything other than foil or black) but the fit was absolutely perfection.

  9. therese says:

slow horses is a good series

  10. Ameerah M says:

I actually like both LV looks – that’s rare for me. I also really like Gillian’s dress – she is truly such a beautiful woman. I saw a IG reel recently that talked about how she’s gotten MORE beautiful and she’s aged and it was a montage from when she was younger up until present day. She truly has gotten more stunning. It’s wild.

I always pay attention to the looks of Saoirse and Emma Watson because these two remind me of my daughter especially around the mouth. It’s unusual to have actresses with small lips. So many get them plumped up. So I notice their makeup especially. Saoirse is a fantastic actress and seems to have a great job picker

    • kiks says:

Yes, Saiorse has such a unique and timeless beauty. I’ve admired her ever since Atonement. Love that she’s been so successful from a young while really seeming to stay true to herself.

      Also Catherine O’Hara looks phenomenal.

  12. Anna-Maria Ruhloff says:

Every 90s X-Files fan is shedding a tear. We are so proud of our Gillian. Her style was soooo bad for a while, but gosh, she knocks it out of the park every time for years now.
