Juno Temple wore vintage Cavalli to the Emmys & rocked her natural curls

Juno Temple has been getting a lot of nominations in recent years, for both Fargo and Ted Lasso. At this year’s Emmys, she was nominated for Fargo, and it was her fourth nom and her fourth loss. Boo! She wore a vintage Roberto Cavalli and carried a Judith Lieber clutch. I’m so meh on this dress. Like… of all the vintage looks, you choose something which is probably still being made today in some version? And why orange?? I do love that she’s rocking her natural curls though.

I’ve said this before about Sofia Vergara, but she knows what looks good and what suits her figure, and she never really deviates from those three or four silhouettes. Which makes everything feel very same-y, but on the other side, she always looks good and she’s always sexy. Her Emmy dress this year was Dolce & Gabbana.

Nicola Coughlan in Prabal Gurung. Silver was one of the on-trend colors last night, and this was one of the best silvers. Did it sort of make her look like she wore a futuristic UFO? Kind of. But I love the way Nicola is styled, consistently. She gets stuff customized and there’s always an emphasis on her hourglass figure.

Juno’s dress is pretty and simple. It’s inoffensive to me. I LOVE those gorgeous curls! My hair is bone-straight so I’m always envious of glorious manes like that!

  2. Jais says:

Love Nicola and her dress is fun. All these silver dresses. Is it the Beyoncé effect? She had everyone wearing silver for her Renaissance tour and now here we are. From what I can tell, at least 5 silvers dresses on the carpet.

Love Juno’s curls. She looks so different with them (at least in these photos). IMHO, they suit her.

  4. Florals says:

Juno looks so washed out. Love the curls but the color of her hair and her makeup just look so blah. Her hair needs to be darker and she needs a little lip color at the least.

I wish that Juno had carried a Lieber clutch that was a lion.

    “Lion or panda?”

I wish Juno would grow her eyebrows in. The pale thin brows are just not the biz on her. I like Nicola’s dress – in THEORY. In reality she is a tiny woman and that exaggerated peplum overwhelms her frame. But I love the idea of it. And she looks great in silver. Nicola is my current girl crush. I just love her. And I wish they had taken that peplum off the dress or made it smaller.

  7. Abby says:

I always love seeing Juno’s curls! She looks healthier now than the last two seasons of Ted Lasso. Love to see it.

As a curly haired person myself I appreciate Juno saying no to the straighteners. That said, I don’t love the rest of the look. The color doesn’t suit her and neither the dress nor makeup is working with her fair complexion. Also, her eyebrows are over-plucked which is a pet peeve of mine. Haven’t we learned not to do this to ourselves by now?

Nicola’s dress is fun but a little overwhelming on her petite frame. When it comes to wearing silver, I think a paler, subtle metallic tends to be more flattering on most people. But it is a fun look.

I didn’t recognize Juno Temple at all! I love her curls!

  10. Chaine says:

Nicola, gorgeous, and a unique gown. Love Juno’s curls.

Seeing Nicola last night made me kinda anxious. Not because I didn’t want her to be there, but because she needs to fly to the Bridgerton set ASAP! Filming starts today and I’m far too excited lol. As for Juno, the first time I saw her was in the 2008 movie Wild Child. One of the many reasons she stood out in it was her *very* curly mane. Love to see her with a more mature version of the hairstyle she sported back then!
