Donald Trump’s allies hope that Robert Kennedy Jr & Cheryl Hines get a divorce

Cheryl Hines is the Susan Collins of Kennedy marriages. Does that make sense? It did in my head. Republican Senator Susan Collins is known for publicly distancing herself verbally from her party, and then after expressing her disappointment in the GOP’s unhinged agenda, she votes for it almost every time. That’s what Cheryl Hines is doing – trying to distance herself from every unhinged thing her husband Robert Kennedy Jr. does and says, but she’s still staying married to him, she’s still supporting him, she’s still giving him an air of legitimacy. Cheryl stuck by him even during the brain worm cycle. She stuck by him when he admitted to dumping a dead bear in Central Park. She stuck by him when he endorsed Donald Trump and appeared on stage with Trump. And Cheryl Hines hasn’t left Robert during this current newscycle, where he was apparently engaged in some kind of affair with Olivia Nuzzi, a 31-year-old reporter. RFK is telling everyone that Nuzzi wouldn’t stop sexting him and sending provocative photos. I suspect that there’s an extensive digital trail just waiting to be found. Well, in any case, a lot of people in Donald Trump’s camp hope that Cheryl dumps her husband too. The only thing the right and the left can agree on.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s sexting scandal is embarrassing for both the political scion and the New York Magazine journalist with whom he allegedly shared steamy messages. But we’re told that there are some people who are thrilled that the supposed fling was exposed — because they hope it’ll end his marriage to the “hated” Cheryl Hines.

Media newsletter Status revealed last week that political reporter Olivia Nuzzi had been suspended from the storied magazine after editors learned that she’d had a personal relationship with RFK Jr. (The pol claimed that he’d met her only once while she was working on a story about him.) “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Hines, a longtime Democrat who has been married to Kennedy since 2014, has since been spotted without her wedding ring.

Sources tell Page Six that there are people in the inner circles of both RFK Jr. and Donald Trump — whom Kennedy endorsed in August after dropping out of the White House race — who “hate Cheryl” and are hoping that the Nuzzi drama gets her out of the picture.

“[Hines] is a diehard liberal and is against [Kennedy’s] support for Trump,” an insider told us. Our source says that after Kennedy’s endorsement, “there’s a likelihood he’ll work in the Trump administration if [Trump] wins” — which could be awkward with an avowed Trump-hater on his arm.

“RFK Jr. would have to move to DC and they don’t want [Cheryl] around,” said the source. Hines’ aversion to Trump is well documented.

After the endorsement, Kennedy told TMZ that Hines is not a fan of the former president. “This is a really difficult issue for Cheryl,” he said. “This is the opposite of what she would want to do. She went along with it because she loves me and she wanted to be supportive of me, but it was not something that she ever encouraged. I would say, her trepidation about this and her discomfort with this, were the dominant feelings.”

Yet another reason to vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz: we won’t have to listen to the Trump team behave like catty teenagers about political spouses, and we won’t have a lunatic like Robert Kennedy as Secretary of Health and Human Services. I also wonder if Cheryl is actually done with Kennedy and she’s just waiting until after the election to leave him. It’s a Lucy-with-the-football thing though – maybe she’ll never leave him. Maybe she’s just as crazy as him. She’d have to be, to stay with him this long.

Cheryl Hines is not a diehard liberal. She’s an entitled woman who married a horrible, trash entitled man. She go kick rocks along with her husband, Nuzzi and all the maga Nazis.

  4. Amy Bee says:

She was ok with him being an anti-vaxxer so I’m don’t believe that she was put off by anything he has done or associates with. Cheryl=Melania.

  5. Brassy Rebel says:

Idk. Can’t see falling in love with a creep who freezes and eats roadkill. And I certainly can’t see staying married to him after he starts cheering on a fascist-dictator wanna be. I hope her analyst is well compensated.

  6. Hypocrisy says:

After sticking with the psycho brain worm Kennedy this long, I doubt her dating pool would include anyone sane🤷🏼‍♀️

    • chatter says:

Exactly. After she married RFK, jr. who would take up with her?
She knew his past when they married and did it anyway.
RFK, jr is a garbage person 100%.

  7. Lizzie Bathory says:

This reads like Cheryl has seen some internal Trump campaign polling & is planting narratives to salvage her career after the election.

    • Louisa says:

Yeah this definitely came from Cheryl’s camp. Sorry, but too little too late. You’re never coming back from this mess.

  8. JEM says:

My god, he is so leathery I could vomit. He’s like Mel Gibson without the beard and with the whale-beheading. Cheryl Hines is an idiot.

  9. Sass says:

TIL Cheryl Hines is married to this…this?!

  10. Lau says:

I was thinking that maybe she just liked being part of the Kennedy family but given that she keeps her name I’m more inclined to believe that she’s just as crazy as her husband.
