Meghan, Duchess of Sussex attended the 2024 Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala on Saturday night. We covered the lovely photos yesterday, and I’m including more pics in this post. At one point, Meghan happily posed with Paul S. Viviano, CEO of the Children’s Hospital. He was delighted that Meghan was there, and while Meghan’s attendance was a “surprise” in the sense that photographers didn’t know she would attend, Viviano apparently had a tip about her attendance. He had Meghan seated at his table, along with Jimmy Kimmel and Kimmel’s wife Molly McNearny.
A guest told People, “Meghan was lovely, and there was no pretense about her. She was smiling and happy to shake hands with anyone who approached her.”
At the Oct. 5 event, Meghan sat with CHLA CEO Paul S. Viviano and at the same table as Jimmy Kimmel and wife Molly McNearny.
“She was so approachable and accessible,” an attendee says of Meghan. “It was refreshing.”
Though her appearance at the gala was a surprise, Meghan has been a longtime supporter of the hospital. On March 21, Meghan visited CHLA to lead a Literally Healing session, where she used her acting chops to illuminate storytime with the kids.
I bring this up because the Derangers are very mad that Meghan stepped out of her house and looked so glamorous and beautiful. They’ve been spreading lies about how she wasn’t even invited to the gala, or she wasn’t really welcome, or better yet, she “only walked the carpet and then left.” Speaking of, Richard Eden spoke to a thirsty attendee at the gala – Liz Cundy, the same POS who regularly insults Meghan whenever anyone asks.
Meghan Markle just attended the LA Children’s Hospital Gala ‘for the photographs’, a former friend has claimed. The British socialite Lizzie Cundy, 56, attended the event with the Duchess of Sussex last Saturday wearing similar dresses.
Lizzie told the Mail: ‘There wasn’t a great deal of warmth from people when she arrived. She wasn’t there long – she seemed to be there for the photographs.’
She added: ‘Meghan needs LA more than LA needs her. LA people feel they’ve been played by her.’
‘I’d have worn a different one if I’d known,’ Ms Cundy, 56, who wore a £259 Pia Michi dress to the event, said. Ms Cundy added: ‘Harry and Meghan were loved because they’re part of the Royal Family, but they’ve bad-mouthed the royals, who are loved in LA. It’s a shame, because charity work is where her and Harry do great things.’

And obviously, Meghan was seated with the CEO of the hospital within the gala. Also: there’s nothing I love more than British people insisting that Americans are obsessed with the left-behinds and hate the Sussexes because they “bad-mouthed the royals.” Tell me you know nothing about Americans without telling me you know nothing about Americans.

I have never seen an attendee that “wasn’t invited” be greeted so warmly by a CEO. So maybe ms Cundy and her deranger cohorts want to properly was their eyes and have a look again.
The CEO even told Meghan as he hugged her: thank you so much for coming.

According to sussex.com, Meghan was “Invited as a special guest by CHLA’s president and CEO, Paul Viviano.” She was seated at the same table as him for cryin’ out loud, Cundie. And it doesn’t matter what the DailyFail says, Cundie, you did not attend the event “with the Duchess of Sussex.” Also, the aide Britmedia claimed the Sussexes lost – Ashley Hansen was also at CHLA Gala and photographed with Meghan.
The envy and jealousy from those losers is palpable.

I’ll have to look that up. I just saw a photo of her & her red dress, and was reminded of some comments yesterday about how Meghan was dressed inappropriately for meeting sick kids or some such nonsense. (It was a gala! Everybody was dressed up! even the sick kids!). Cundy’s dress is tacky as h*ll.

I went to Lundy’s Instagram so that I could figure out who she is. Royalists were calling her “classy” compared to the Duchess. Whew! The racism jumps off the screen.

I looked up Pia Michi red dress and got a collection of prom gowns, plus several “gently used” on eBay. But if that Insta photo is the best of it, then yikes. Such a contrast to Meghan, who looks elegant and natural. Cundy is more Real Housewives of Someplace or Other – anything that could be inflated or implanted has been.
It says something that you had to look on her site to see what she was wearing. Nobody else interested? Could be why she was unpleasant, jealous of the attention that Meghan got.

There is no evidence whatsoever that M and this woman were ever friends or that they went out for drinks together. Previous reports said that they “met”, as in they happened to be at the same event together and met. Nothing more than that. So many people the tabloids have labelled “former friends” to cement their attacks when the reality is that these people were barely on the periphery of her awareness.
Five minutes of conversation just once is all it needs to be a former friend.

What has broken them about this specific event? When I saw the pics on Saturday night I assumed this would be a 24 hour news cycle. There would be lots of pics and then we would all move on. But they are still writing about this? I don’t get it. She looks great and this was a good cause but they are acting like she showed up at President Harris’s Inauguration (manifesting…..manifesting) or to give out the Best Movie at the Oscars. Is it because this is a slightly sexier version of Meghan than we have seen in awhile? Or do they actually think when they don’t see her for a few weeks she’s miserable and pinning for a certain salty island? Or did they think that Kate’s reappearance meant that no one would pay attention to Meghan again? Anyway stay mad.

I think they have probably spent the last few weeks telling themselves that Meghan was in hiding because she was ” exposed” by that THR article, ignoring the on the record US Weekly article and by Harry’s trip. They have probably built up this fantasy in their head that everyone hates meghan, she’s too embarrassed to leave the house and show her face ( her being sick played into that for them) and that Harry was going to come home and kick her out ( always a weird fantasy of her being removed from her property) and divorce her. Her showing up somewhere being warmly welcomed by the CEO and having multiple media outlets cover how gorgeous she looks it’s just twisting their Grinch sized hearts.

The THR article is old news. People either didn’t care in the first place or moved on when they realised there was no evidence. Only people trapped in the royal news bubble think it’s a big deal. Meghan at this gala however really did make news around the world.

They have spent the past month or whatever writing stories about how hated Meghan is in in LA and now here she is, at a major gala event, sitting with the CEO of the hospital benefiting from the gala, and Jimmy Kimmel. We can love Jimmy or hate Jimmy but he’s a prominent figure in Hollywood and LA (was his child treated at this hospital?) so its clear she is not ostracized. At all.
And they can’t handle that.
His son has been a patient at that hospital. Poor kiddo had his 3rd heart surgery there this past year.

Yes, CHLA’s doctors and nurses are the ones that saved Billy Kimmel’s life. He was born at Cedars, but ambulanced to CHLA for immediate open heart surgery. I truly cannot imagine how terrified Jimmy and Molly must have been.
I think the BM had a commitment to more “where’s Meghan” silliness and longed for a pap shot to pivot to ‘alone and fretting about her future’ articles but got thwacked in the eyes with the fact that she’s fine thank you, able to command attention in all the international fashion press, brought to mind the fact that she volunteered her time to read to children for that LA hospital and, clearly, is anything but shunned or disliked in her community. And mention of Jimmy Kimmel probably makes them annoyed because of the cute haunted house thing he filmed with Harry.

I think the reaction is the BP trying to apply what would have been the rules if the Sussexes hadn’t been kicked out of the working royals. The rules would have been no upstaging and certainly no attending events while the higher ups can’t/won’t do things like that. Basically, sit in your home and wait for the phone to ring. With the current “working royals”, that would have never happened. Could you see Kate letting Meghan go to Wimbledon in her place? Not even when hell freezes over.
They NEED to report on Meghan to get people to read, but they’re not allowed to say anything nice. So we we constant and repeated stories criticizing Maghan. Other than Tom Cruise, I can’t think of a single one who cares one way or the other. Are they using “Taylor Swift was nice to Charlotte and George” like it means anything more than “Taylor Swift is nice to kids in general”? If American celebs were so eager to cozy up to the royals, why was it that they couldn’t even pay any of them to show up to the fancy hat party?

But even if you believe those lies, there is no evidence to prove the other part of the equation – that H&M are hated because the royals are so loved. Kate has been to the Evalina Children’s Hospital repeatedly, the most memorable visit was her wearing some D&G tweed monstrosity and a little Black girl giving her not only flowers, but the most monstrous side-eye I’ve ever seen Kate getting. It must have been shortly before Corona hit, and it’s somewhere around here. A photo of that event used to be among Kaiser’s heavy rotation of glorious Kate pics.

I still remember the absolutely heartbreaking monologue he delivered a few years ago on his show. He wept when recalling his newborn son’s ordeal, profusely thanked the doctors, nurses, and technicians at Children’s Hospital — and then talked about how lucky he was that he made a lot of money and wouldn’t have to worry about bankruptcy to pay for his son’s care. Then he made an impassioned plea for universal health care. My opinion of Kimmel did a 180 degree flip that day.
I rewatched it last night, can you believe it was 7 years ago? I cried like a baby all over again, and I was really struck by all of the doctors and nurses he thanked by name. It’s quite a long list, and it really made all of the shadiness around Kate’s cancer look even worse.
I had also forgotten that Jimmy called out Trump, and thanked Obama, because Billy’s heart disease would have been labeled a pre-existing condition, and he would have spent his entire life (if he survived in the first place) being denied health insurance. It’s really timely, and worth a rewatch. With tissues!
The rota used to have teeth and regularly slammed Will-not and Keener. For some reason the rota totally stopped going after Willy and keen and began crucifing Harry and Meghan in 2016. I would not have paid £259 — or even £25 — for that tacky dress that Lizzie Cundy wore to the event. It resembles Meghan’s dress only in Lizzie’s imagination.

This appearance really sparked something. She just looked so relaxed and confident and beautiful. She wasn’t done up, the dress got strong reactions( not all positive ) but it was a moment and made impact. She is more involved with this organization than just that story time appearance back and March and they were happy to have her at the gala. Great to see Meghan just out and showing up for such a good cause.
I loved how completely Californian she looked, and she ditched all the jewelry the rota likes to get all up in arms about and rewore a dress. You really need to get right with yourself if you are hating on Meghan for going to a gala to support a children’s hospital. I can’t imagine what it must be like to wander around with that much constant hate in my heart, for a perfect stranger.
As for reactions to the dress, I’ll go by the words of people who were actually there, like the woman who could be heard saying, “wow” as Meghan walked onto the carpet.
It’s not my favorite of her looks but I appreciate the edginess of it and the color looks absolutely fantastic on her. It also showcases her figure. What I don’t get are people saying it’s revealing. It really isn’t. The way the center front and sides are cut show nothing but hints at a lot. Stunning.
Man, they are salty because wherever and whenever Princess Meghan surfaces, she looks like a goddess. Her beauty is effortless, unlike the future queen. Meghan looks more stunning every time she leaves her house and this has the derangers and rota rats feeling shook. They’ll never forgive her for being Black, intelligent, hardworking, popular, and gorgeous.
She is insanely beautiful and they cannot cope with it. She is glowing – and you literally cannot say this about any Royal or artistic, young ones too. They are all crusty in their superiority complex.
It’s not just her beauty, it’s also her poise. The way she speaks answering questions. I remember the appearance Kate made with Jill Biden, where she mumbled and stumbled. This to me is the real issue. Kate cannot stand up to Meghan, she fades in comparison. So Meghan must be beaten down, so that Kate can shine. What kind of woman is okay with this?
This is easy enough to prove or disprove. There are a ton of shots from inside the gala, both professional and instagram. Kelly herself posted many pics of her table as well as that of the ceo. There are also tons of shots of people bidding, the auction, the children there, etc. CHLA has a huge write up on it as it is probably if not their biggest fundraiser, one of them with hundreds of shots of people in the audience, lists of people that donated time and money and items for the auction, etc.
This mess is unhinged. At least it’s obvious she was there and not like some randoms who popped in yesterday that she wasn’t invited and only got photos with important people. I love that they defaulted to everyone hates her and Harry. Good lord. Get a grip.

The Royal Family is so irrelevant and they know it. They are desperate to claw back some interest by attaching themselves to the more popular gorgeous beloved Sussexes but it isn’t working. Every effort they make to attack the Sussexes just diminishes public opinion of the BRF and and the monarchy as whole.
One thing I’ve learned from this election cycle in the US is that the public is craving change. They want positive, optimistic forward thinking, empathetic, problem solving leaders. They want leaders to be someone they can aspire to be. They don’t want to go back they want to look forward. This why Trump is in trouble and so is the BRF. There are so many similarities between the too, it’s uncanny.
Both Trump and the BRF:
– refer to themselves as Christians but their actual behavior is very unchristian and mostly performative (Trump posing with Bibles and BRF doing a church pap walk; all the extra marital affairs, etc,)
– they both use the media to rile up hate and violence against their perceived enemies
– they both have unsettling relationships with Saudi Arabia, Russia/Russian oligarchs, etc.
– they both long to bring back or maintain white supremacist institutions
– they both attack woman of color who they feel threaten their standing (for Trump it’s Kamala or any black prosecutor and for the BRF it’s Meghan Markle))
– Trump cannot account for missing money and either can the BRF. No one really knows how both are funded and how the money is used.
– Trump and BRF are transactional. They both sell recreates, commendations, etc for money. If you don’t have anything important to give them, you might as well not exist.
– Both use politicians in their party of choice to do their dirty work for them.
– Possibly both had their first wives killed because they became inconvenient- Ivana died right before andimportant deposition in a Trump trial and Diana died because Charles took away her security and unleashed the paparazzi.
There are so many instances where they are similar. The only positive thing we have here in America is that we can vote him out. But if we don’t do that this year… we will be worse off than even England.
She is at a gala. People want her there. No amount of bitching from the BM is going to make people on a whole different continent stop inviting Meghan and appreciating her since everyone outside of Britain sees that she is a nice and beautiful woman. Also, Do they think the British only read British rags? They can find out the truth about how welcome Meghan is, so spreading lies that are so easily refutable makes no sense.
Meghan floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee-she looked wonderfully refreshed and at ease-glad to see her out doing good in the world-those complainers should be asked-what the hell are you doing in the world for the good-not a damn thing -God bless the Sussex family and keep them close to heart of God almighty.
