We recently had an update on the Princess of Wales’s Early Years “work.” Last year, Kate’s Centre for Early Childhood (and Buttons) signed off on some pilot program having to do with the Alarm Distress Baby Scale. It’s a way of evaluating how babies interact with their world. Well, the pilot program is being expanded and Kate is reportedly “delighted” according to her spokesperson. This has been a keen Early Years update. Speaking of Kate and William’s charitable foundation, you guys know that they’ve been making noise about expanding the Royal Foundation into America for a while, right? Well, that expansion might include Kate flying to America and hunting down Prince Harry. LOL.
Kate Middleton is reportedly pondering a meeting with Prince Harry to bridge the division between him and Prince William, insider sources suggest. The princess is considering using a potential US trip as a golden chance to initiate talks between the estranged siblings. A source told Closer that Kate “sees it as a rare chance to meet up with Harry and feels like it would be a great step towards making peace.”
There are whispers that the Princess of Wales has been advocating for a reconciliation between William and Harry since they allegedly gave each other a wide berth at their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes’s funeral in August. The same source claimed reconciling the two brothers is high on Kate’s agenda for the upcoming year, remarking: “One of Kate’s top goals for 2025 is to find a way to mend fences between William and Harry so that is front and center on her mind whenever there’s talk about going to America.”
This news emerges as Princess Kate and Prince William ignore rumors of rivalry with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, despite plans pointing to more frequent visits to the States by the royal pair. Notably, Prince William and Princess Kate gathered a significant donation from American backers this past August, disclosed by Charity Commission reports. In September, the duo revamped efforts to expand The Royal Foundation’s presence in the US, reports the Express.
The Mail reports that Kate and William have registered their foundation’s brand with the American trademark authorities. This move comes after Prince William hinted last year that he and Kate would be taking on more international engagements.
He stated: “Hopefully Catherine will be doing a bit more next year, so we’ll have some more trips maybe lined up”. Insiders reveal that the specifics of the Royal Foundation’s American expansion are being kept under wraps.
A source said, “The details are hush-hush, but, by all accounts, it’s something they’re working on pretty intensely.”
They emphasized that this move is not meant to rival the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who reside and work in the US. They added: “Expanding the Royal Family’s charitable work on a more global scale, and into America, has long been talked about. This isn’t coming out of nowhere.”

@Jais I remember that Anzac Service. It was broadcast live. Before the Service it was being reported that Kate might be the only royal attending since Meghan was likely to go into labour any day. Tabloid reports were emphasising Kate as the leading royal officially representing the Queen. She arrived at Westminster Abbey with Harry and as soon as they entered Harry stepped ahead and preceded her in greeting the line of clergy and dignitaries. Harry then took the lead in the procession escorted by the senior cleric and Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, who was already there , stepped beside Kate and they followed behind Harry. It was clear that Kate did not expect this. She doesn’t have the social poise of Meghan who would smile serenely whatever was happening. Kate was clearly unhappy.
The seating on these occasions puts the most senior nearest the altar and Harry was in that place . Prince Richard took the second place and Kate was assigned the third. Kate’s face showed that she wasn’t expecting to be in third place and with Prince Richard providing a barrier between her and Harry. The exiting procession and formalities followed the same sequence with Prince Richard escorting Kate then stepping ahead of her to follow Harry in the farewell handshakes.
It seemed to me that Prince Richard had been briefed by the Palace to provide a barrier between Kate and Harry. Otherwise she would have been chatting and flirting with him throughout the service.
In their dreams, where H comes back, they would make every effort to erease M’s existence. They would keep talking about Harry like his marriage and family never existed.

I took a look at their form 990 – they took in $8.5 million in donations in 2023 and gave out $9.7 million to Earthshot, another $1.2 million directly to The Royal Foundation and $500,000 to United for Wildlife. They have a small office in Newton, MA – no employees and 3 officers who spend an hour or so a week on the non-profit. So, I can’t imagine there’s any real fundraising or grantmaking going on there. It seems more like a way to fund Earthshot through the US.
Well I suppose that with Trump’s attitude to climate change there is a certain justification in getting the Americans to fund it.

While it may be he’s with Kate because other women didn’t want him, my opinion was Kate was acceptable, not just because she was willing to put up with his side dalliances, but because she was just as lazy as he was, and they were on the same page about how to live their lives – that is, working as little as possible.
As far as temperament, does anyone remember that incident a few years ago, when Will and Kate were out bike riding with the kids somewhere in the country, and ran into a photographer walking along the path? IIRC, the guy supposedly wasn’t there for any nefarious purposes – but the point is, there was a clip of Will having a meltdown about the guy while on the phone with his security, while we clearly heard Kate in the background egging him on. Can’t think of another instance where we’ve heard her in an unguarded moment like that and she was just as nasty a piece of work as him. Completely in line with her menacing approach to Meghan on that later walk about.

If Charles, William, Kate wanted to go to see Harry, Meghan and the children they could; they can easily travel to California and we wouldn’t know about it unless it was publicised via official channels or a member of the public captured an escort heading to Montecito. They go on vacations or are out of the public eye for weeks and it’s radio silence on their whereabouts so it’s possible for them to travel to California in private if they want to.

I cannot imagine being British and reading this crap about the Royal Foundation expanding to the U.S. when Britain is experiencing huge housing, homeless issues and extreme food poverty. What’s the point of the monarchy if they won’t do charitable work at home? William and Kate should concentrate on fixing problems at home before they go spreading their useless presence elsewhere.

I find it hard to believe Kate has a romantic interest in Harry. I think Kate just has to have all the attention and perhaps feels possessive since after she got married it was the “three musketeers” and she loved always appearing flanked by two princes. However, it must be hard to see the difference in how Harry treats his wife, and how she appears to be treated by William.
