Timothee Chalamet & Kylie Jenner spent V-Day together at the Berlin Film Festival

Timothee Chalamet grew out that gross little ratty mustache last year for a role in Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme. The film wrapped a while ago, and yet the mustache is still here. I kind of wonder if it’s a superstition? Like, Timothee will not shave that thing until after the awards season? You would think he would be eager to get rid of it, because the mustache has brought a really trashy energy to Timothee’s worldwide promotional tour for A Complete Unknown.

Speaking of, Timothee was in Germany on Valentine’s Day. He premiered A Complete Unknown at the Berlin Film Festival. Timmy wore head-to-toe Chrome Hearts, with Cartier jewelry. Something nice: I enjoy the fact that Timothee is such a fashion guy, and I love that he wore pink for V-Day. Something mean: he looks like a 13-year-old wannabe rapper who goes by White Boy Chalmy. He is OOZING with talent, but seeing his slight figure in a pale pink tank killed whatever attraction I had for him. That being said, I still kind of think he might pull off an “upset” at the Oscars and end up winning Best Actor.

Anyway, it looks like Timothee invited his girlfriend to Germany too, so they could spend V-Day together. Kylie Jenner was also in Paris with him last month, so she enjoys traveling with him and having some time with him in-between premieres and promotional work. Kylie didn’t walk the carpet, but she came into the theater and sat next to Timmy and everyone cheered her arrival.

Don’t mind the pink. Cute for Vday. But I do despise the facial hair. Despise.

  2. Sasha says:

Can’t help it, I love him. He’s a different kind of male star and I really love that. I’ve also fully acclimatised to the Kylie pairing and want great things for them.

  3. Arizona says:

lol this is what he’s always looked like to me so I’ve always been very confused on why people say he’s attractive. 😂

I find this pairing weirdly sweet. I can’t quite figure out why.

  4. notafan says:

Every time I see him these days I feel like he is channeling his rapper character from SNL.

And this is petty, but I really envy Kylie’s ability to travel to see him. Say what you want about the K-J clan, but they are tight with each other and rich and don’t have any worries about finding childcare to jet off to events like this. Sure it’s good to have good nannies but having reliable and loving family around to be there for your kids is amazing.

As soon as I saw this picture, all I could think was, “Drip, splash, water, drip, splash…”

I think he pulls it off, though. It’s fun and it’s nice to see men get to have some fun with their fashion.

Adrien Brody gave the best performance by a male actor last year and the Oscar is for him to lose….Timothee was great too but I do think Adrien was better

Nah, if there’s an upset it will be Ralph Fiennes. Brody has won all the major precursors, so he’s the favourite. But as far as the films go, Conclave keeps sneaking in wins here and there with nothing major for Complete Unknown. And Fiennes is a respected veteran and overdue. But the smart money is still on Brody.

  7. ThatGirlThere says:

Has Adrian Brody publicly apologized to Halle Berry for sexually assaulting her?

  8. Porsha says:

Out of all her sisters she has come out far better, considering in the early days she was treated less successful then the others, now she has the A list Oscar nominated boyfriend and not taking attention away from him at his events, no Kris Jenner hovering around, I bet she has been trying though

    • FlamingHotCheetos2021 says:

Sometimes lately I get the feeling that Pimp Momma Kris feels like Kendall and Kylie (and all the rest) have peaked moneywise and need to figure out how to sort themselves out because it’s time to start building up the next generation and Kris will only give her time and attention to assets with potential for significant growth.

  9. Nanea says:

I love that the up-and-coming Chalmy the R̶a̶p̶p̶e̶r̶ Actor was willing to suffer for his art by wearing that pink undershirt.

It’s *cold* here in Germany right now, and it wasn’t much better last week.

I seriously never imagined he and Kylie would still be together after all this time.

  10. Lorelei says:

He’s just so….scrawny I simply can’t see him as a man, he’s like a perpetual teen no matter what he does.

  11. Sue says:

I don’t know them but they seem like such an odd couple BUT I wanted to come here and say that they have always looked super happy together so good for them.

  12. Kaye says:

I’ve seen Timothee in only one movie – “Call Me by Your Name.” Aside from the ick factor associated with Armie Hammer (the extent of which was not known at the time), I was dumbstruck by his talent. He inhabited that character, and I loved the movie, difficult as it was.

  13. KAREN Van Wagon says:

He won’t get the Oscar this year. Oscar voters don’t like the Kardashians.

  14. Serena says:

That fit is ridiculous and embarrassing for a premiere look.

    • Jen says:

And such a jarring contrast with how Kylie is dressed. She looks lovely, yet in keeping with her being there to support him, not be a focus.

  15. HeatherC says:

Scrawny facial hair or don’t brush your hair. He can’t pull off both. He looks unkempt

  16. Em says:

I’d love to be a fly on the wall around them. I cannot fathom what their conversations are like.
