Elvira also donated her Tesla ‘Elon Sux Mobile’ to NPR

Among the many vomitroso spectacles of Sleepy Mango’s (endless) joint address to congress Tuesday night, was the show of faux humility President Musk put on from up in the gallery. At least he found a suit, I guess. Somewhere around Hour 10 of the “speech,” Trump boasted about ending “the last administration’s insane electric vehicle mandate,” which was received with rapturous applause. Reader, I was working so hard on telepathically getting the cameramen/producers to pan to Musk at that moment! But alas, they did not. Luckily, the entire world has been zeroing in on Musk’s EV car company Tesla, with people protesting at dealerships and boycotting so significantly that shares are tanking. Over the weekend, the one-and-only Elvira posted a video on Instagram, in which she bid farewell to her Tesla in her own inimitable fashion:

Cassandra Peterson, who is known for her portrayal of the iconic character Elvira, impressed fans with her recent move that sent a bold message to controversial figure Elon Musk.

In a new video shared on social media, Peterson said goodbye to one of her possessions in a way that had fans calling her a “legend.”

The clip began with Peterson standing in the street, decked out in a graphic t-shirt, blazer, jeans and a hat that read, “Make America Goth Again,” while holding a chainsaw.

She glanced at a silver car near her and said, “Here goes my Elon Sux Mobile! I’m donating it to NPR.” Behind her, text on the side of a Tesla, presumed to be her car, read “ELON SUX” in big letters. As Peterson gestured for the car to move forward, AC/DC’s song “Highway to Hell” started playing as she yelled and lifted the chainsaw into the air.

Someone drove the car onto a tow truck before the actress gleefully waved goodbye and threw a middle finger up as it drove away, with visible text reading, “Bye ELON SUX Mobile!” She captioned the clip, “Just donated my Tesla to @npr …Bye bye Elon Sux-Mobile! ✌🏻.”

Fans were in awe of Peterson after seeing the video, with a top-liked comment reading, “Always thought Elvira was so cool but Cassandra is even cooler.”

“Donating to NPR?! Alright Cassandra! When so many celebs and politicians are failing us, thank you for being on the right side of history 🖤,” said another as someone else declared, “She’s still helping us through the horrors of life…”

I like this developing trend! Sheryl Crow got the car rolling last month with her own video sending off her Tesla, and confirming the proceeds were going to NPR, whose funding has been targeted by DOGE. Not that it’s a competition, but I feel like Elvira really upped the ante with her version. A consummate professional like Elvira knows that the devil is in the details. That’s why she didn’t merely emblazon the car with “ELON SUX,” but she took the care to print the “X” in Elno’s stupid Twitter rebrand logo. Between that X, the chainsaw, and the “Make America Goth Again” hat, Elvira gets 10s across the board for execution. The hat in particular added a uniquely Elvira-esque touch. Brava, you wonderfully witchy woman! I hope these posts continue, where celebrities come up with really creative ways to personalize their “I’m selling my Tesla and giving the money to NPR” videos. Let’s make a new social media challenge! Meanwhile, for us civilians looking to get in on the fight, the Action Network group Tesla Takedown is organizing a ton of protest events across the country. My pitch for a picketing chant: “Elon sux, don’t buy his trucks!”

My son saw a cyber truck parked at the little shopping plaza near our house. It was very dirty and someone had drawn swastikas and written “Nazi” in the dirt.

    She’s been cool for generations!!

God she is still so gorgeous.

Honestly, this might not seem like a big deal in and of itself but if we could get crowds of people doing this, it would really send a message. Of course, it’s hard to ask regular working class folks to give up their cars but the Tesla brand has become so toxic. They are symbolic of the wealthy elites who have take over our government.

    All of this is gold
This and all the personalized witty pithy slogans and Sheryl all being creatively take downers of such ridiculous and gross things.

Always liked her. Queen of the Night and Queen of Hearts. Even vampire/ghoul wannabes have more heart and soul than the devils at the White House.

Tesla (corporate owned) dealerships in Canada are also being investigated for irregular sales the weekend before a federal electric vehicle rebate program closed because it was running out of money. Most dealers sold vehicles to customers with the rebate applied and then filed paperwork to be reimbursed, but these Tesla dealerships filed such a suspiciously high number that weekend that claimed so much of remaining money in the fund and many other dealerships were unable to file to be reimbursed for large amounts of money because the money ran out and the program closed.
