No to Taylor Swift. That role is owned by Whitney Houston. Just stop this remake cr-p please.

    • Beverley says:

Hard agree. It’s an insult to Whitney.

    • Kaye says:

I agree that Whitney Houston ruled in that role. However, the remake train has already left the station, and it’s just a matter of time before this train stops to pick up its next passenger, which might as well be Taylor Swift, because I think she would be excellent.

      • Normades says:

Hard no. Taylor can’t act. But I would pay to see version of her and Trav as the bodyguard. That would be hilarious

    • bluhare says:

Taylor Swift is not a great singer. Whoever takes over Whitney’s role needs to have serious vocal chops. She doesn’t.

  2. M&M says:

I had the Crumbl cake and I thought it was good!

  3. Nerd says:

I’ve seen so many reviews of these cookies and cakes and everyone of them, once they got to Kourtney’s, has spit it out. There was one exception with a husband and wife review where the husband spit it out immediately and the wife actually liked it. I’m going to take the opinions of the masses as a sign that hers isn’t that great. I’m more excited to try their new set of cookies and cakes for Easter. The carrot cake looks delicious and you can’t go wrong with M&M cookies for Easter.

Regarding, the bodyguard remake. I’m not mad about the idea of TS but I would much rather see Kelly Rowland in that role.

  4. Uralmom says:

I tried a crumbl cookie for the first time just the other day. Maybe I picked out a bad one (vanilla cupcake) but the cookie and frosting both just tasted like oil and sugar to me. If I am ever in the neighborhood again, I might be convinced to try the small sized chocolate chip.

    • Hypocrisy says:

I didn’t like them at all, but my adult children did.. we had the cookies over the Christmas holidays.

Also.. excited for June the preview for the new season of Ginny & Georgia looks amazing..

    • Josephine says:

Agree – they were incredibly disappointing across the board. I feel like it’s all about the branding and not at all about the taste, like so many things.

  5. FYI says:

Ben Shelton acts like the worst kind of frat bro on the court. He has to pantomime this needy, ego-riffic “I’m a bad-ass” crap even when he just wins a set. God knows it happens every time he wins a match. It doesn’t help America’s reputation abroad to see a U.S. player puffing his chest out to the crowd like that.

  6. Libra says:

Josh Groban in the Whitney role and Halle Berry as the bodyguard. Hot?

  7. Shirurusu says:

Taylor Swift can’t actually sing (she speak sings) or act, and Whitney Housten was a literal goddess in that role and had great chemistry with Kevin Costner, so that’s a very hard pass for me.

Of course some people might throw money at it and it will be empty, tasteless and exhausting just like all talentless modern remakes of amazing movies.

    I miss the 90s lol

  8. bonobochick says:

Someone suggested Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King in The Bodyguard remake and I don’t hate it. The movie doesn’t need to be remade nor stripped from having a Black female lead as some are desperate to do but I can see Halle & Jonah doing a remake some justice.

  9. Eliza says:

Tiff’s Treats: way better than crumble cookies.

  10. Eowyn says:

I hope there is a piece on the Sinners movie, a piece on the Variety hit piece on the Sinners movie, and another post on the mainstream white hysteria around the artful truth-telling Ryan Coogler has done with this original, yet referential and non-derivative film. There’s an interest for original standalone work.
