Just when I have a moment of “maybe Khloe Kardasian is the best of the Kardashian demon spawn” Khloe ruins it with her big mouth and her epic TMI. Back in January, Khloe said, during a radio interview, that she was off her birth control, and that she and husband Lamar Odom were pretty much trying to get pregnant. The subtext was: “I will not gestate quietly, so prepare yourself.” In a new interview, this time to the classiest publication known to man, Steppin’ Out, Khloe once again reaffirms her lack of birth control, but also claims that they aren’t actively trying to get pregnant at the moment. Uh… did this girl never sit through a sex ed class?

Khloe Kardashian Odom says she and her husband Lamar aren’t in a rush to have kids.

“But we’re not stopping ourselves from having kids, either,” she tells the new Steppin’ Out magazine (out Wednesday). “We’re just being a healthy married young couple … I’m not sitting here staring at an ovulation calendar. I’m not saying to Lamar, ‘Okay, it’s time, let’s go!’ Yes, I’m not on the pill, but people stir my words around. Let’s just say sometimes I talk too much.”

Case in point: A recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, where Khloe, 25, blabbed that she wanted to make an intimate tape for her husband, 30.

“It’s not a sex video,” Khloe clarifies. “It’s called a love tape. I made a collage video of all the things that he loves. He loves candy, so I filled up a whole bathtub of candy while Kourtney taped it. It was just a love note. I put the video in his bag for when he goes on road trips. I don’t do sex tapes! Although, with my husband, I can’t say what I will or will not do in the future. I won’t know until I’m in that moment.”

When it comes to love, Khloe says she is in a different position than her sister Kourtney, 30.

She says Kourtney’s relationship with Scott Disick — father of their son Mason — is “definitely much more smoother than it was, but they still have their ups and downs.

“There are things that you and I wouldn’t put up with and visa versa,” Khloe says. “Their relationship is definitely very different than mine. Mine is much smoother. I don’t know if it’s because we’re still so new; I can’t really speak on that. But whatever their relationship is, it definitely works for them. They like that. I could never have a relationship like that.”

Khloe’s biggest squabble with Odom: He can sometimes be messy.

“Lamar is just like another Kourtney – he’s a little bit of a slob,” she says. “But in a way I kind of like it because I feel like I’m making his life better by cleaning up after him.”

So I dry-heaved a little with the “love tape” stuff. Part of me wants to believe that Lamar is a good guy, just because I don’t want to see Khloe angry. You wouldn’t like her when she’s angry. So maybe Lamar really digs seeing his wife in a vat of candy (?). Maybe he loves her just the way she is, epic TMI and all. As far as Khloe and Lamar’s relationship compared to Kourtney and Patrick Bateman Scott Disick’s… well, that’s not fair. Kourtney and Scott seem like they hate each other. Of course Khloe and Lamar are going to come out ahead.
