These are photos of Katy Perry and her boobs at Saturday’s Kids Choice Awards. I was going to do something about the fashion at the event, but honestly, I didn’t know who most of the people/children were, and the majority of the fashion was pretty basic cocktail/casual wear and most people looked fine – not stunning but not horrible. So, I probably won’t do anything about the fashion, but if you want to see a good compilation of Best & Worst dressed, Radar has a good slideshow. The one exception to the “I don’t know who that is but they look okay” summary is Katy Perry. Because this chick has no fashion sense, and she dresses as if she thinks she’s the Budget Bettie Page-meets-Vegas showgirl. This might have been a cute/sexy look for the MTV VMAs or something, but this is a show for children, Katy. Put your boobs away.
However, Katy did show that she was a good sport at the actual show. She got slimed! Of course, she had a costume change, into a (rubber?) yellow dress and blue wig.
As for the actual awards, it’s as bad as you would expect. Taylor Lautner was named Favorite Movie Actor, with Miley Cyrus taking Actress. Favorite musical group was Black Eyed Peas, and the favorite TV actor and actress were Dylan Sprouse and Selena Gomez. Favorite Movie? Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel. Yikes! First Lady Michelle Obama was given the “Big Help Award” for all of her work to improve kids’ diets. Full list of winners here. There were also performances by Justin Bieber and Rihanna. I put some photos of Rihanna below – she wore the pale pink on the red carpet, and performed in the black and hot pink dress. I actually like the pale pink one, but is she wearing silver ankle socks with her high heels?

Katy Perry’s shoes are super-cute, although I agree that her dress was inappropriate for the occasion.
More to the point, why does this woman always look as though her make-up is done by Crayola? Less is more, girl, seriously.
Please tell me Rhianna did not sing Rude boy ? Infact what did she sing…surely as questionable as Ms P’s decollete ?! ( I love the song btw – ….just Kids choice ? )

I watched this with my kids and although I’ve never paid a bit of attention to Katie before, I thought she was adorable! I loved her reaction to being drowned in slime. Such a good sport. My girls liked that her blue wig matched the flowers on her dress perfectly. 🙂
On the rest of it, this is what happens when 8 year olds give awards. I mean, in what alternative universe from hell is Miley Cyrus a better actress than Sandra Bullock???? Miley was literally the WORST in the category. It’s really bad when even my kids were yelling NO at the screen when they called Miley’s name. And they are her target audience.
Meh. She doesn’t look any more scantily clad than say “Wonder Woman”(which is what this outfit reminds me of actually), whether it is appropriate or not, I don’t think she is wearing anything that exposes areas children that they don’t already see on a regular basis from hollyweird.
Honestly, her breasts don’t offend me as much as the length. I think the colors are fun, but she dresses as if she’s walking the red carpet for a burlesque show. And don’t let me get started on Rhianna.

Without reading the article or seeing her outfit my first response to the headline was, “Probably.”
Not only are her boobs a problem but her dress is too short. I don’t need to see the tops of her thighs!

Katie Perry has never left the house without looking inappropriate, so at least she and Russell Brand will have that in common.
Rihanna is just weird. I don’t know what’s happening with her, but she’s just.. weird.
As for Katy and her dress choice – ‘eh. What stood out to me was the commercials for the UFC during the Kids choice awards. I thought that was more inappropriate than what anyone was wearing. Was it really necessary to advertise this during a childrens venue?

Yeah, she did sing that song but she changed the lyrics to “C’mon rude, rude boy, is my love enough?” and so on.
Oh Rihanna. Well, I’m glad she toned her lyrics down for the Kid’s Choice Awards and actually wore clothes that covered her ass. The only sad part is there was nothing else to focus on….but her singing *side-eye*…well, you win some, you lose some.
If the kids watching this show are fans of Miley Cyrus and follow everything she does then they’ve seen a lot worse!
Katy Perry’s dress is an insult and an abuse of such beautiful fabric because that dress is just plain stupid. There was no art, fashion, design, skill or finesse involved, all that dress is is short and scant and Katy Perry looks ridiculous in it.
I actually like the dress. I mean not as it is, but if it were about ohhh 6″ longer and straight cut instead of strandy. Also about an inch or two on top and some straps or a halter strap. I think the colors are fun and flirty enough for a kids’ show, the cut was just a bit meh. I also believe that the length appalled me more than the boobs. Her makeup is always so ghastly though. She is a pretty girl (I always liken her to Zoe Deschnel) but her ‘quirky’ act is tiresome (much like GaGa’s).
My six year old has become obsessed with Princess Leiea the slave girl so Katy Perry’s outfit has nothing on her. Not offensive at all.
She looks like a figure skater. Maybe that’s what she always wanted to be but couldn’t, because she has weak ankles. 😉

I think the dress would have been prettier if it had been full length. But you don’t really wear full length to the Kids Choice.
And really, if her bangs are going to be that short they should have at least gotten them straight.
I like both of Rihanna’s dresses minus the shoulder pads. You can’t convince me they are back in style.

Neither Katy or Rhianna are wearing things appropriate for that show. Shame on them- they look slutty and insecure. If you can’t dress it down for a kid, on just one day you have bigger problems than getting slimed.
Typical case of girl w ugly face putting her boobs in everyones face. Anyone ever notice how its always the ugly girls who use their boobs for attention (Christina Hendricks, Susan Sarandon, Mariah Carey). Get some class & put them away girls.

I will say though that the dress is rotten, the black wig is worse and I covet those shoes.
