Yesterday, we heard about Miley Cyrus’s new home, just minutes away from her parents’ house in California. Miley talked about how cool it was going to be to live on her own, and how her mom was going to decorate everything, and how her new “Zen” pad would be open to all. I theorized that once Miley was ensconced in her new bachelorette pad, she would quickly move in boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. She’s in love, y’all, and by all accounts, the Cyrus family already allows Liam to spend the night in the family home. Anyway, it looks like things just got a tad more complicated – OK Magazine is reporting that Miley has her heart set on marrying Liam, not just shacking up with him:
Miley Cyrus is so in love with co-star Liam Hemsworth that she’s planning to marry him — even though she’s only known him 10 months!
“She’s convinced she’ll spend the rest of her life with him,” says a source about the teenager’s surprising determination to get married this year. “She’s talking about a wedding as soon as she turns 18. She’s even asked her mom if she can wear her wedding dress.”
“He is awesome,” Miley gushed about her 20-year-old beau during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “We hang out almost every day. He’s almost become like my best friend.”
In fact, she’s so serious about Liam that she even flew out to Australia to meet his family and Liam’s met the Cyrus clan too!
“The whole family are great,” he tells OK!. “They’re really good people.”
But is their relationship too much, too soon?

I want to believe that Miley isn’t the girl who meets a dude at the age of 17 and starts talking about getting married. But she could be. I can’t see how Liam would agree to it though – he seems to have a pretty decent head on his shoulders (sort of… I mean, he‘s dating Miley after all), and I would guess he could talk Miley down.
In one other piece of Miley news, it seems Miley is going to be working with Demi Moore on this horrible film project called LOL. Demi tweeted the news (of course) this morning, writing “Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL… Remake with the same director.” Apparently, LOL was a French film (directed by Lisa Azuelos) starring Sophie Marceau as a mom dealing with lots of issues with her daughter. So, Demi is playing Miley’s mom. Ridiculous. They look nothing alike.

Girl PLEASE dont do it. This is a classic example of what happens when you give your kids freedom to be adults before they really are adults. I think theyre a cute couple but she really needs to wait, plus HES TWENTY! how many 20yr olds do you know ready to settle down. Especailly when his acting career is just taking off. Excuse my language but he has so much more booty ahead of him, why would he tie himself up now.
I just dont want to see her getting divorced five years down the line, and ending up damaged and on drugs, an all that other crap that happens to teenaged starlets who think theyre grown
If she wants to get married, she is not going to listen to ANYONE. She will just have to learn 2 – 3 years down the line about how drastically we change between 18 and 21, get a divorce (hopefully she doesn’t have any kids) and then write a book about what she had learned from the experience.
Funnily enough, when I was 17 I wanted to marry his older brother (from an Aussie soap called ‘Home and Away’)!! Mmm…

Oh goodness. This girl is too much, and I see a rocky path for her future. Her parents let her grow up way too fast and didn’t keep her grounded.

And let’s face it: they are both actors (mediorce, but still) at a hot point in their careers. Five years from now, when either or both’s popularity is on the wane, are they going to be able to handle the reality of working hard to stay together, despite bruised egos? Many “matures” have tried, and failed miserably.
If this is true, I wish them the good luck they’re gonna need.
Miley is in LURVE and she’s got it bad. I think it’s just her first, big “true love” cloud that has her saying that. I know I thought that about my first boyfriend too. We’d be together forever, happily ever after. . .
@ Red Folder: Ditto. I thought I was so in love with my boyfriend from high school, wanted to get married, etc… Then the next year we broke up and he started dating a girl I’d introduced him to. She got knocked up (I think it was on purpose) and they got married and had more babies. The word from a mutual friend was that there was much cheating and divorce, child custody fights and misery all around. My thoughts were, “Thank God it wasn’t ME!”

Agree. Miley looks much older than 17 years old. I did not get deep neck lines until I was in my middle 20’s.
She looks like she has been used up and thrown away already.Then again, with two parents who have sexualized her since the age of 8, I can see how she would age more quickly than the average 17 year old.

This movie will bomb. Aside from the bad casting (you’re right, they look nothing alike) Demi Moore is box office poison. When was her last successful movie? ..yeah, I got nothin’ either.
I agree with everyone about young marriage = early divorce, especially in Hollywood. She’s just giddy with “first love.” It will pass.

RE: neck lines, they are genetic. I’ve had them my entire life, even when I was a little kid. I also have a couple lines similar in the crooks of my elbows. There’s basically nothing you can do about them. They’re not like facial wrinkles which are developed with time (age) or from stressful situations, although they do get a bit deeper as you get older and skin stretches.
I don’t blame her. He is hot and she’s a pan face (face that looks like it got hit with a frying pan).

Let’s just hope this is a little spell she’s going through….I’m 22 and got married at 18 and boy let me tell you it’s the hardest thing in the world especially getting married before you both are old enough to drink…..dealing with marriage and how people change after time is harder than raising kids!!!!!! Why is everyone so down on getting married when in your early 20s? I’m 23 and i just got married in October… We started dating when we were 16, and I would have married him the day i turned 18 if i could have. Yeah things are a little hectic at times, but ultimately we are stronger because we went through it together. My mom got married at 19 and my parents are still together, so I always thought it was normal to get married young.
I am not defending Miley… I think she is an idiot. I just feel judged because everyone is talking about getting married young like its taboo.
