Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler are best buds who are helping each other troll LA for eligible bachelors, according to this week’s National Enquirer. I didn’t realize that these two were even friends, but it makes sense. Chelsea, supposedly 35, convinced Jen, 41, to join a gym with her in order to scout for guys, while Jen has Chelsea join her at the dog park with their pooches. The two are even said to host “weekly vodka mixer parties” with instructions to their friends to bring along single guys.
Jen helped Chelsea renovate her new Los Angeles home earlier this year, and now that the home improvement projects are complete, Chelsea has started hosting weekly vodka mixer parties, says the insider.
“For the get-togethers, Jen and Chelsea demand that each female guest bring eligible bachelors to mingle with their other single female friends.”
But the new BFFs aren’t about to stop there in their quest for true love. Chelsea, 35, persuaded her 41-year-old pal to join Crunch fitness in West Hollywood by raving about all the “hot, scantily clad men” that work out there. And Jen pointed out to Chelsea that “men are suckers for cute pooches,” so the women – along with their dogs – have become fixtures at Hollywood dog parks.
Jen and Chelsea are both hoping this new, bold approach to dating will ramp up their love lives.

I love that idea and it sounds like a lot of fun! Jennifer Aniston was a guest on Chelsea’s show last September to promote Love Happens. (You can watch the video on Hulu here.) They didn’t seem to be friends at that point, at least they didn’t make any references to it, but they did bond over their love of vodka and dogs. Chelsea asked Jen what she drinks to “keep her body like that” because whatever she’s drinking “isn’t working.” When Jen asked Chelsea what she drinks, she answered “I drink vodka.”
“That’s what I drink,” Jen enthused. “It’s clean, clear. No sugar.”
“That’s why I drink it, but it doesn’t seem like the same thing is happening.”
“First of all, you’re crazy. Second of all, how many are you drinking?” Chelsea didn’t answer and Jen went on to tell her that her body was gorgeous. They later talked about how their dogs were super protective of them and followed them everywhere.
These two are a hoot and this story is too much. You can imagine that Chelsea is the forward one helping Jen get out of her comfort zone and meet new men. There are plenty of guys who would like a piece of Chelsea and Jen.

That’s just sad! What’s wrong with being single? No wonder both of these are when they’re practically forcing relationships with whatever poor guy they like the look of!
LOL – this was brought up on Chelsea’s show the other night, and she said NONE of it is true at all, except that she does have vodka parties at home (but it didn’t sound like J was even part of that). I get the impression they’re friendly acquaintances, and that’s about it.
Side note – I do think Chelsea is 35, but years of partying have made it a hard 35. I know a few people from high school who were like that, and at 32-34, some of them look really bad!
I can not stand racist Chelsea Handler even more than I can not stand pathetic Aniston. It figures that they would be friends. If Handler makes any more racist remarks about Brad and Angies kids I am calling her out again.
Oh please! I don’t buy this story. They are both independently wealthy and very successful. Why would they be out desperately trolling for men? A single woman is always painted as “desperate”, “needy”, not being able to “get a man” or “hold on to a man”, whereas often the opposite is true.
She did say on her show that this story was not true.
I laughed at her; Handler.. because she reads the crap about other celebs as if the stories about them are true. Funny.. that she knows that the rags make stuff up. This was just an example. Wonder if she will consider that when she goes on and on about the celebs she doesn’t like. Regarding her and Aniston. She used to rag on her all the time. Then their SHARED PR guy or Agent invited her to Jen’s B-day party.. and guess what.. NEVER A NEGATIVE WORD ABOUT MS. ANISTON.. she does not even read the rags headlines about her.. Damn that must have been some party..
She is a two faced horse faced cow. Nothing original about her show. If you want ORIGINAL humor. Watch Joel McHale. NOW that is the best show on the E network..
im not sure i buy this entirely only b/c aniston seems like she could probably only date dudes set up through an agent or something, but who knows. i could totally buy a modified version of this story tho. sounds like regular girlfriend manshopping to me, nothing wrong with that!

This story sounds like a lot of crap to me. I mean if Jennifer Aniston was going and coming from a regular gym in LA and hanging at a dog park there would be tons of pap shots of this. Not to mention that this would be even more so if she was spotted with someone else famous like Handler.
I’m with Lucy2 that they seem to be more acquaintances than anything. They have friends in common, and Handler has attended parties at Jennifer’s because of who she was dating at the time. Handler’s ex was or is an executive with NBC and Jennifer knew him well from her time on the network doing Friends. It’s possible they’ve become more friendly since, but it still seems like they mostly are friendly acquaintances.
This just seems to be yet another rag mag harping on single women of a certain age and making out that they are desperate and man-hungry instead of single and fabulous.
Totally agree with Anon and Lucy. Handler denied it on her show. These two are friendly acquaintances. Handler was at Aniston’s bday party because she was dating Ted Harbert who was President of NBC when Friends was on and is now CEO of Comcast Ent Grp (which includes E!). Handler then had Aniston on her show because she hired Aniston’s PR person (Stephen Huvane) as her PR person.
This seems like it would be a good friendship. Honest – no “Feeling sorry for each other” bullshit.
They could both be good for each other. I’m sure CHelsea is vulnerable just like everybody else and needs to be real every once in a while, and Jen seems like she’s pretty down to earth.
Handler is at least 42, she has been around Los Angeles as a “thirty something” since the late 90’s and we all knew her….
in her first “developmental” series, girls behaving badly, she was identified as 32 years old…and that was in 2001-ish?
She’s also a sellout and hypocrite (see playboy 12/2009), but whatever. Not my cup of vodka by any means.
They share the same publicist. Maybe they had some sort of deal where Chelsea agreed to stop making fun of her because she used to do it all the time. Kind of like “Hey I’ll make stop making fun of you and only make racist comments about Brangelina’s kids if you come on my show.”
35?? Really?? I’m not buying it, she looks way older. Early 40s, maybe, mid-40s possibly.
