I was just thinking a few days ago that it had been a while since we heard any insane drama from Mel Gibson and his Russian baby-mama Oksana, so now it’s just like Christmas morning for me! Radar reports that Mel has just filed a restraining order against Oksana, bitches! Oh, happy day. Apparently the order is sealed, which means no one should be leaking anything to the press (whoops), and it’s something about custody or access to their daughter Lucia.

Now, just a few months ago all the drama began. Oksana and Mel announced their split and it seemed relatively amicable. Then Oksana flew to Russia and gave a bizarre, cryptic interview which made it sound like she had some dirt on Mel (shocking!). Then she gave another interview to Hello Magazine where she “set the record straight” about their relationship, and she confirmed that they had been together for three years, not one, as Mel wanted us to believe (for the sake of his divorce). There were also some reports that Mel was definitely paying Oksana off to keep her big Russian yap quiet, and there was gossip that Mel was boning a Polish porn producer while he was with Oksana. Mel Gibson has filed a restraining order against the mother of his illegitimate seven-month-old daughter, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. In a blockbuster development in his bitter break-up with Oksana Grigorieva, the 54-year-old actor lodged the paperwork under seal at the Los Angeles Superior Court in Downtown Los Angeles Thursday.

The plaintiff is listed as Mel Gibson and the defendant is Oksana Grigorieva. Grigorieva was served the documents at her home in Sherman Oaks around 5pm Wednesday, RadarOnline.com confirmed.

While the case is sealed — meaning the documents cannot be released to the public — RadarOnline.com has learned the complaint centers around three issues and Gibson’s access to daughter Lucia.

Gibson filed a temporary restraining order, a notice about a forthcoming court hearing and a notice of visitation rights and child custody. Gibson’s rep had no comment when contacted by RadarOnline.com. Gibson and Grigorieva, the Russian musician-singer, split in April, after over a year of dating.

At the time, the split was described as amicable and the pair said they planned to co-parent. However, Grigorieva hinted the break-up was complicated: “We have split up, suddenly and recently… Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon.”

In April of last year, Gibson’s wife Robyn filed for divorce after 30 years of marriage. Later that month, he and Grigorieva made their first public appearance together as a couple.

In addition to Lucia, Gibson has seven children — six sons and a daughter — while Grigorieva has a son, Alexander, with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

My guess is that this is less about access to Lucia and more about getting Oksana to shut up. I think she probably has the goods on Mel, including everything from details about his money, his faith, his anti-Semeitism (just a guess), his other women and his drinking. Even though Mel has put himself out there as sober for several years now, I’m not buying it, and I’m sure Oksana was prepared to clear some things up. But now she can’t! Temporarily. Do you think she would sit on her story for a big cash money payday? Yep.
