Let’s talk about Cameron Diaz’s photo shoot for the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar first. The shoot was done by Terry Richardson, he of the sexual harassment and tampon tea. I hate to admit it, but it’s not a bad shoot. Camy looks glamorous and it’s all very New York skyline, with a nod to the 1970s. It looks a little bit like a shoot Cameron did for GQ UK a few years ago, only that one was against the LA skyline, I believe. Anyway, the interview – I have to admit, I didn’t read the full piece (online at Bazaar here). I only read these excerpts from Us Weekly, and they were enough to get my eyes rolling. And I usually like Camy!
“Most booties that propel girls are usually the bigger booties. I have a little tiny one, but it is, nonetheless, juicy,” the Knight & Day star, 37, tells the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
“The more I work on my body at this age, the better it gets,” adds Diaz. “I feel so much more attractive now. A thousand percent. I’m appreciating my skin and my wrinkles and all those things.”
The only way to stop aging “is if you die!” jokes Diaz. “But that’s not a great alternative.”
(She admits to admiring Helen Mirren, 64. “That woman is drop-dead sexy. She’s not trying to turn back the hands of time, she is just taking care of herself… [And] she’s a nudist!”)
Also keeping her young: her relationship with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.
“I grew up with the Dodgers, but now I’m a Yankees fan,” she says coyly.
“I’ve always loved men and boys,” she goes on. “I don’t get hung up on what boys do. I don’t have a nagging nature. I feel like I can be a woman but also relate to a man… Who doesn’t like the bad boy, until you grow up and realize bad boys are not the way to go? I’m done with that.”
She doesn’t find it to be awkward to work with ex Justin Timberlake on Bad Teacher, which is slated to hit theaters next year.
“Justin and I have laughed together for years. He is the funniest guy; you’ve seen the stuff he does on SNL,” she says. They have “absolutely” fallen into a natural rhythm on set.
It was, after all, humor that brought them together in the first place, she admits.
[From Us Weekly]
Ooh, is she alluding to the “natural rhythm” of their lovemaking or what? I don’t doubt that Cameron is probably playing Justin Timberlake, and that he probably wouldn’t mind another go around. Just a feeling I have. But seriously, all of the “juicy booty” talk? What are we, 16 year olds obsessed with our own asses?
Oh, Cameron also doesn’t care for the Internet, much like Prince. Camy tells the magazine: “I don’t have time! I’m working! And I don’t like the Internet. I find it really, really dangerous.” And she says, regarding Twitter: “I’m not interested at all. I don’t want my life to be made content. It’s not interesting to me and too much energy. I can barely return my e-mails.” Oh, and she also talks about her love of The Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow: “I love her so much! We’ve known each other a long time, but it’s only in the last few years that we’ve become closer. She’s just a lovely, dear, sweet, genuine individual.” The Goop, you see, recommended Tracy Anderson to Camy. It’s like a club of high-profile women who have been taken in by this fraud.

Cameron is a Latina and i thought she would have aged better
I guess if you’re a blonde and blue-eyed “Latina”, you age the same as the rest of us white girls?
That’s not her nose in the picture with the red dress.
I hate Terry Richardson. Cam looks gorge though
She sounds dumb and lost my respect by dating that douchebag ARod. Great Photoshoot though. Shes aging gracefully unlike many of her peers though. Thats nice
Blech. I have no use for her at all. I honestly don’t see the appeal. She is not a very good actress, and she is not terribly attractive either.
Jen, she has the exact same nose she has always had. She looks beautiful.
Not liking the city-scapes. The black and white one is really good though. Love the jacket.
I think she looks fantastic and the only thing that annoyed me about the article was the word “booty.” It’s such a stupid word.
I’d kill for the boots she’s wearing with the cream-coloured outfit.
And she’s not coming off as Prince. Prince is deluded, Cameron just doesn’t care for it. I have a lot of friends who don’t, nor have they joined Facebook, etc.
Cameron is one of those girls that only look good with lots of makeup on.
Love the picture with the hat and the boots!
“Most booties that propel girls are usually the bigger booties. I have a little tiny one, but it is, nonetheless, juicy,” the Knight & Day star, 37, tells the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar.”
Ick. Mature adults who are confident about their looks don’t need to tell others how hot they think they are.
Ech about her “booty.” I agree with Paula (#12).
Also, does anyone else think that in the last few months, at least, Cameron Diaz has rather desperately been trying to channel Michelle Pfeiffer? She seems to be trying to imitate her hair style, expressions, stance, even red carpet style (maybe not exactly, but in the spirit of). It bugs me.
Don’t totally share her viewpoint. It’s slightly skewed for us, we usually see her after photoshop has been applied.
She’s got an awesome bod I’ll give her that.
She does look great, but it’s not like photoshop and plastic surgery have not been used…
she is an unattractive, overly skinny wrinkled up old woman. She looked beautiful in the Mask, it’s all been down hill from there. Anyone notice she actually had boobs and body fat which filled out her face then? I have. Now she is simply old…bootie talk? EWWWWWWW
She doesn’t have the same nose she has always had. She has broken it a few times. She left it for a few years but they either photoshopped it or she had it fixed.
She hasn’t looked this good in a few years. I like the shoot.
she’s like the fun, immature auntie that you just know used to be a looker… but let’s be honest, she doesn’t get better with age.
she looks great in the white dress photo though.
the 70s look suits her.
Oh, Tracy Anderson totally explains why cameron looks like a man in recent bikini pictures!
She sure talks about aging alot. I’d believe her more if she hadn’t had the cheek injections. You can’t really tell in these pics but it’s really obvious in other pics of before & after.
I really hate the cheek injections in anyone – who ever told these women that looks good! It makes the women look desperate.
@Maritza: For the most part, she does have pretty much the same nose she’s always had. BUT, in that particular picture, her nose is Photoshopped to high heaven.
She’s always had those cheeks. I don’t think she’s had too much surgery. If so, I think she would have taken care of her wrinkles first as they are quite obvious. I think she’s embraced her age–good for her.
I saw her once, and she’s very pretty and nice in person. I don’t think she takes pics as well because her face is really round. For some reason, the camera doesn’t love round faces?
But I do like these pics though. I think they’re the best she’s done in years.
As I said, you can’t really spot the cheek injections here, but in other pics both her cheeks look like she has them stuffed with food or gum or something & they poof out & actually start to droop.
I always thought she was pretty (as she looks here) prior to the injections.
I see right through her “I’m giving the answers about relationships that guys want to hear” bullshit. The women who really live that laid-back lifestyle don’t talk about it every other second.
And yeah, yeah, we get it, Cammie; you feel great and you think you look great. Good on you.
I personally think you look like the crypt keeper, but it’s that eye of the beholder stuff I guess.
bitch is lying. she wants to stay 20 something and enjoy her youth. “i get better with age”. nah man, it means im scared desperate and im aging fast but i still look pretty good with lots of money and fame.
