This morning, CB covered many of the current updates on the Lindsay Lohan situation (where her crack tears earned her 90 days in jail), including the little fact that Lindsay had “f-ck U” written on her middle fingernail, and that Lindsay has been, according to TMZ, under the influence of Dilaudid during the past few weeks, ever since she visited her “dentist” re: crack dealer. Now Radar is claiming that Lindsay was on a cocktail of powerful drugs, including Dilaudid, Adderall, two antidepressants, and Nexium (for acid reflux). Five prescriptions? That’s more than my dad had when he had major surgery! Jesus, these crack dealers masquerading as doctors.
Lindsay Lohan was taking a powerful cocktail of amphetamines and the powerful painkiller Dilaudid during her probation period, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned. The shocking list is contained in the 24-year-old’s probation report, which was given to a Beverly Hills court Tuesday. It is expected to be released publicly Wednesday.
Lohan, 24, who was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation, was also taking Adderall – an amphetamine used as part of a treatment program to control symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The actress was also taking a combination of other drugs, including anti-depressants Zoloft and Trazodone. She also takes Nexium, which is used to treat acid reflux. They were all legally prescribed to Lohan, RadarOnline.com has been told.
The drugs were detected in the Mean Girls star’s system after she began random drug testing on May 26. The combination had the potential to “kill her” when mixed with alcohol, said one source.
“Judge Revel was very concerned that these drugs mixed with alcohol could kill her,” said the insider.
RadarOnline.com can reveal Lohan was prescribed Dilaudid for pain after dental surgery.
Lohan had four wisdom teeth taken out on June 4, 2010.“It appears that Lindsay is still taking the Dilaudid, at least until very recently,” said a source.
The other medications were prescribed by a different medical professional, we’re told.
Said the source, “Were these prescriptions legal? Absolutely. Is there cause for concern for Lindsay’s health and well being given her battles with substance abuse? Absolutely. We simply don’t want Lindsay to end up as a sad Hollywood statistic, and sadly, it’s often the legal prescription drugs that have taken the lives of so many that are simply way too young.”
Lohan was allowed to take these prescription drugs while she was out on bail because they were prescribed by a doctor. RadarOnline.com has been told she proved to the court — and the probation department overseeing her case — that she had valid prescriptions.
Yet it remains unclear if Lohan will be allowed to take these drugs while in jail.Lohan was found in violation of her probation after missing seven court-ordered alcohol classes during a 27-week period.
The actress, who cried in court during the sentencing, was also ordered to complete a 90-day inpatient substance abuse program by Judge Marsha Revel.

Many of you commented that people better keep their eye on Lindsay during these two weeks before she turns herself in for her prison sentence. TMZ’s sources – alleged friends of Lindsay – say they fear for her safety too, and that they worry she might try to do drugs or go on a bender before her jail sentence. TMZ notes that if Lohan does get f-cked up, she might have to do even more jail time. Also, E! News’ sources claim that Lindsay was “completely stunned… Lindsay went into court ready to take responsibility for her actions, but she was not expecting to serve jail time at the end of it. She really did take everything seriously, and is just freaking out right now. It’s just really, really harsh. The last thing she wants to deal with is the press right now. She will probably try and trick everyone like Paris did when she turned herself in.” By the way, Lindsay has a party scheduled for tonight. One last thing – as I continue watching the feel-good movie of the year, I keep noticing how aware Lindsay was of the cameras in the courtroom. She was playing to them more than anyone else. F-cking crackhead. That being said, I could look at photos of Lindsay’s crack tears all f-cking day. I love it. OH! And everyone noticed her costume changes, right? She kept adding and subtracting layers for each break in proceedings. Ha!

I had two wisdom teeth pulled the same time, and they had to saw down my gumline a little with stitches put in afterwards and all I got was some anitbiotics and percocet 10 milligrams/20 pills no refills .
Anyway she needs to take advantage of whatever jail time and the mandatory rehab because this may be her last .

What basis do you have to claim that, alcohol is the only one “drug” that is not a naturally occuring drug in the body that she is taking. Alcohol is strait poison. Affecting you entire body by its ability to cross through cellular walls. A weekly liver and kidney cleanse is all she needs to keep them functioning at 100%. Alcohol screws up you liver cause it doesn’t really have the enzymes to break it down.

What the heck is Dilaudid? (don’t want to look it up) I’ve had four surgeries (including impacted wisdom teeth & an ER C-section) and I’ve only ever been given the lowest dose of Vicodin or Percocet. And NEVER a large quantity or refills.
With doctors like that, LH is lucky she’s not dead! I don’t like her antics, but a physician should NOT be her primary enabler. Instead of complaining about how the judge “hates” her, she needs to be thanking her lucky stars the judge is concerned for her health.

Dilaudid is serious stuff. my dr gave it for a severe abscess and it made me so messed up I wouldn’t have left the house…much less party every night. The dentist would have to have a special license to prescribe (mine couldn’t) because its heavily regulated. And I only got a weeks worth! What are these docs doing?!
I hate reading on here that she is so young and should be just given rehab. She WAS given rehab…several times and she blew it. Any other person at even 18 years of age would be in jail by now. They wouldn’t have released them after the coked out carjacking of three people.

Well EXCUSE ME, but I happen to be on and ADHD medication (for my freaking ADHD), a prescription stength acid reflux medication, an anti-depressant, and Trazedone (so I can sleep at night).
Guess I’m a criminal, and my doctor is a crack dealer.
Seriously, the scrutinizing and judging over medications has got to stop. Acid reflux meds, SSRI’s, and Trazedone? These are for people with serious health problems and anxiety. I really do not appreciate your snippy, ignorant comments. Especially because your only way to relate to this is your father after surgery. I can’t even TAKE painkillers after surgery because they make me vomit due to aforementioned acid reflux!
You obviously have NO IDEA what it’s like to live with these things. My acid reflux is so bad that I am destined for throat cancer and I have had to be put in the hospital and given fluids to prevent a heart attack from dehydration after puking for two weeks. Do you think that’s fun?!

Look at her situation, no real friends, no family support no goals or dream. Rehab usually extract the real poison in their patient’s mind. People take what they need to take, it just so happens Lindsey needs to be inebriated to feel ok.

I was on Codine for 2 weeks after I had my wisdom teeth out. There’ weren’t complications, I have a very low pain tolerance. No giving her an excuse, but not everyone just gets Aleve or Tylenol or something.
I hope she makes it through this and turns her life around, and distances herself from her “parents”. Just because you gave birth doesn’t make you parents. Parents help and support their children, love them and give them boundaries. Neither Dina nor Michael is a parent in any sense of the word anymore.

Of course there are people who legitimately use prescriptions, multiple ones even. But Linsday Lohan being prescribed a continuous prescription for a high level opiate after getting her teeth pulled does not qualify as “legitimate use.” Have you seen any pictures of her? She looks like a drug addict.
Also, it’s my personal opinion that anyone taking that many drugs needs to re-evaluate their lifestyle. Acid reflux? Heavy smoker? (Chill-I’m talking about LL here, not you) That’s a lifestyle problem right there. Need heavy sedatives to sleep? Stay up most nights partying? Lifestyle problem.
I guess that the less dangerous chemical compound she takes is the crack…
The meds she is on, with the exception of the Dilaudid, are safe, commonly prescribed, effective medications.

dilaudid?! that is serious shit. i was given dilaudid once when a disc in my back was pinching a nerve. never have i felt such pain (and i have a high tolerance), and after one shot i swear to god my eyes rolled back in my head, everything went tingly and i was in happytime la-la land. my friend came to the ER to pick me up and i could barely speak. with all those drugs in her system i am amazed lohan can function at all.
That mean, nasty Judge Revel is acting more maternal towards Lindsay than Dina ever did.
Being clinically depressed and having legal access to a whole pharmacy is never a good idea. Throw in a couple of cocktails, and you’ve got your Marilyn Monroe headline.
Don’t get me wrong – I think Lindsay’s will to live/need for attention would prevail over any underlying suicidal ideation, but I wouldn’t put it past her to try it.

I feel for you. I too take an SSRI, ADHD medication, and Trazodone (for insomnia caused by the Adderall). Out of this whole list, the only actual abusable drugs are the Dilaudid and Adderall. Zoloft, Trazodone, and Nexium DO NOT get you high in any way.
I have also had Dilaudid multiple times in the past (both IV in the hospital and pills) for chronic kidney stones (which are more painful than childbirth) and it’s CRAZY to prescribe it for dental surgery. It’s about 3 times more potent than pure heroin, and a lot of heroin addicts say that Dilaudid is even better than smack. But it doesn’t really get you ‘high’ unless it has been administered intravenously, which means Lindsay is most likely shooting up the pills, which doesn’t surprise anyone at this point. But, we could be wrong.
Also, people shouldn’t make judgments about prescription drug abuse based on the number of Rx drugs they are currently taking. It’s more of WHAT they are taking, not how many prescriptions. I’m 19 and I’ve been on 7-8 different prescriptions in the past couple of years for a lot of different health problems, but only 1 of my prescriptions has a potential for abuse.

Many people have LEGITIMATE medical reasons for taking prescription medication; LL just isn’t one of them. Adderall is for ADD or ADHD, not weight loss. Dilaudid is a powerful narcotic (alright, I looked it up) for post-surgical and end-stage cancer patients, not wisdom tooth removal. Trazedone helps you sleep – I’ve used it before, since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia before they had all the fancy new drugs made especially for it. Nothing wrong with Zoloft if you need it. Acid reflux is awful, and any reasonable RX that helps should be used. My esophagus is scarred from the heartburn/vomiting I had while I was pregnant with my daughter. But I do wonder: is LL’s acid reflux from not eating (due to the Adderall) and/or purging? Or is it from her excessive drug and alcohol use?

My doctor prescribed Dilaudid for me for my severe chronic neck pain-which it barely touched. However, I’m a genetic freak & have some weird liver that metabolizes all medications very quickly (you wouldn’t believe me if I listed all of the pain killers I was given in the ICU after my 4-level back fusion, & was still awake & in pain: Dilaudid drip, Fentanyl patch, 5000 mg of Demerol injected over the course of a few hours, just to name a few). And due to my odd liver, I have never felt the “euphoria” that most people do when they take narcotics-my only side effect is generally nausea &/or vomiting…lucky me.
I’ve been on just about every narcotic out there over the past 10 years, but every single one has been prescribed for severe pain (neck & back), by a responsible pain management doctor, who closely monitors me & all medications I take.
I’ve gotta add to the chorus & say that I’ve NEVER heard of a dentist, or oral surgeon, prescribing Dilaudid to a patient for any kind of oral surgery. (BTW, it must be prescribed using what used to be a triplicate form, and you can’t get refills when you’re dealing with that kind of controlled substance, you must get a totally new script). I was totally stunned to hear that she was taking that.
California seriously needs to investigate the doctors who are recklessly prescribing these potent drugs to celebrities, especially those with known addition problems. It makes me sick when I read about another celebrity & their enabling doctor(s) abusing the types of medications I, & many others, legitimately depend on just to get through the day & attempt to live somewhat normal lives.

Anxiety and reflux meds do not an addict make. I take them as well….for issues caused mostly by a series of rotten jobs and a massive pile of stress over the last four years…which I am now, as of this week out of. Which should settle down the need for meds as I’ve already discussed with my doc. Don’t like taking RX stuff.
Dilaudid, and in some cases, Adderall leave a lot of room for abuse. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for LL to decide that if she can’t drink she’ll just take a pile of “RX” meds instead. I don’t actually feel sorry for her. She’s had a million chances. Its up to her if she gets clean and sober…I reckon the judge could have also said “30 days consecutive for the message on your middle finger…” she is incredibly disrespectful…anyone else would have been chucked in jail AGES ago for this crap!
Bellaluna, my dad was given dilaudid when he was dying of advanced liver cancer. Lindsay is a relatively healthy young person and should not need such a high level of pain relief for wisdom teeth. I think I had vicodin for that but, for the most part, Advil worked just fine.
I don’t think Lindsay smokes crack. I think she smokes meth. There is a difference and the reason I think it is meth is because, despite the fact that the rest of the world is telling her she is screwing her life up, she thinks she is the most fabulous thing in the world. I hope her rehab is not a spa like Promises.

@Obvious- Codeine and Dilaudid aren’t close to comparable. Both are narcotic pain meds but the strength and potential for abuse (not that it can’t be done) is nowhere near the same. That is the reason the FDA categorizes them as different classes of medicine and there are stricter regulations for the doctors and pharmacies.

Trazodone can be used off label to treat alcohol withdrawal – which can be lethal on its own and she had to go cold turkey to stay in compliance. But I really expected a longer list.

Trazadone isn’t an anti-depressant – it’s mostly used as a powerful sleep aid. For instance, when my friend broke his back and became a parapalegic for the rest of his life, the hospital gave him trazadone at night to sleep (in combo with painkillers).

When I had wisdom teeth surgery, they gave me ibuprofen, nothing else and it took the pain away for sure.
I take an SSRI (not Zoloft) during the day, along with Xanax for anxiety 3x daily, Zantac, and Trazadone as my nighttime anti-depressant because my mind races.
Trazadone is indeed an antidepressant. It makes you sleepy and at low doses was known once as Deseryl but was unsuccessful as an antidepressant because people were tired all the time. So now, they use higher doses as a nighttime sleep aid/antidepressant).
I do not take Adderal. I am highly successful and functioning.
Dilaudid? From a DENTIST? That’s like a podiatrist giving you Thorazine.
Trazadone is a SARI-class anti-depressant, but it is largely used in the US as a sleep-aid. On my last visit to my Dr. I made him aware I have not been sleeping as of late. Since Ambien & Lunesta give me headaches of biblical proportions, he was going to give me Trazadone. But when I advised him Benadryl has the opposite effect on me (it wires me something fierce!), he suggested Melatonin; if the Benadryl wires me, so would the Trazedone, he said.

I had an episiotomy and I got 20 5mg Vicodin. She must have some crazy drug tolerance/resistance to get Dilaudid! I had that after major surgery when I woke up screaming in pain. It was very effective. I didn’t need any other pain meds for a whole day and night. Again, though, I had major surgery. To cut cancer out of my body. Lindsay had teeth extractions. I had that done too. Dr gave me 10 Tylenol 4s. No refills.

I am prescribed adderall and prozac by my psychiatrist and the combo works perfectly for me and I know that adderall is abused but when you really have ADD/ADHD it is life changing and by the way although it is an amphetamine for the true ADD person it has an immediate calming effect where as if you dont need it it will speed you up…
I also do not drink or use any other drugs as it appears she is as she looks so doped and bloated probably from the opiates and or the mixture of other drugs…

Some of you probably don’t know this but you can get severe acid reflux just from stress. I don’t have a large appetite because eating hurts much worse then not eating. It doesn’t just feel like indigestion or an upset stomach, it is incredibly painful.
I would just love to find out how close you are to Lilo, because you don’t know if she has ADHD or not. If it can happen to other people it can certainly happen to her.

When I had my wisdom teeth out, they gave me Vicodin. Granted, they gave me two weeks worth of Vicodin- not a whole month. However, a friend of mine had horrible complications from her wisdom teeth, and needed two follow-up surgeries. By the time it was all over, she’d been on Percoset so long, she had to go through withdrawal.
That said, unless Lindsay is having HORRIBLE complications from her wisdom teeth, there’s no way she needs Dilaudid for that at this point.
Dilaudid is absolutely one of the strongest painkillers available. I can’t fathom how LL would possibly require it – whoever prescribed it should be investigated.
Personally, I’d stick her in in-patient rehab for a year, but I don’t think they have year-long inpatient rehabs.
I was given dilaudid intervenusly for a almost systematic kidney infection that I almost died from. It was the most painful thing I have ever experinced (felt like I was giving birth out of my lower back). I had to beg a nurse (in california) for this because the morphine I was on 3 days straight had stopped working. I would love the number for her dentist because next time I need pain meds ill know where to go
trazodone USED to be used for an anti-depressant in the 50s, but it was later prescribed as a sleeping aid which is how it is still used today. trust me, i used to take it. it is a VERY strong sedative. that is why it was so successful as an anti-depressant. you turn into a zombie.

I don’t understand why any doctor would prescribe her Dilaudid when she’s already taking Zoloft and has a history of addiction. It must of been an elective procedure and her medical records weren’t pulled. People need to leave her alone about the prescription medications she’s taking. Besides the Dilaudid, which like I said was probably acquired after an elective procedure, the remaining medications seem to be aiding in treatment for a psychological disorder. People do not take Zoloft to get “high.” It is an SSRI, and for someone who is not clinically depressed, the side effects would be less than pleasant. The Nexium is clearly not being used for substance abuse, and the other two are prescribed for anxiety and depression. I hope that during her jail and rehabilitation stay she gets the help that she needs. She is a public joke as of the moment, but it won’t be funny at all if she ends up losing her life. She’s clearly depressed and irrational. Her mother is an enabler and she has no one around her to provide guidance. I hope that she recovers, but the prognosis seems grim.
Oh, and Trazodone is frequently used for the treatment of alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Lindsay is a reported alcoholic. Since she’s now required to wear the SCRAM anklet, she would need something to aid her withdrawals. Going “cold turkey” would kill the severe alcoholic. She would need the Trazodone to stop “the shakes”, aid her sleep and prevent Delirium Tremens. I’m thinking this is the most likely reason she’s taking the Trazodone. The Zoloft is for the depression and aids with the anxiety. It might also help her substain from alcohol, since Zoloft can cause some pretty nasty side effects if combined with liquor.

Why Lindsay has to medicate herself so badly ? What is she suffering from ? At one point you need to wake up and realize you have have a serious drug addiction and get help. Beat it before it beats you.

i agree, except when someone tries to solve her “problems” by getting wasted and then driving, just like lindsay has. then it becomes my problem and i have absolutely no tolerance for drunk drivers. i think they should have their license taken away for 5 years & 3 months jail the 1st time and lose the license forever and 6 months jail the 2nd time. anything else is just enabling this bullshit.
@Shannon and others – you are describing your legitimate health issues, and your doctor is treating them properly as needed.
There’s a big difference between that, and someone like Lindsay, who has a long history of drug and alcohol abuse taking a large mix, some very strong, for health problems they DON’T have.
She is an ADDICT. If she truly had so much pain she needed that, she wouldn’t be clubbing, shopping, traveling, etc.
She’s had problems with cocaine, alcohol, and God knows what else for years, and has already had 3 failed trips to rehab. She is an ADDICT, not a patient. Huge difference.

I took Morphine, Oxy, Soma (muscle relaxer) and Xanax for a decade. However, I used them responsibly, as prescribed. The doctor that would prescribe Dilaudid for teeth extraction needs to be looked into. Definately not kosher. Plus, she looks more Meth-y than Crack-y to me.
This isn’t really too much medication for someone who truly needs it. I’m in recovery for an eating disorder and I take high dose Kapidex for acid reflux, lexapro, xanex, several vitamins and zantac.I also have ADHD and my psychiatrist prescribed to me Vyvanse, which is the drug that the makers of Adderall are pushing because of the lower potential for abuse. Also, I agree with several people on here – if you TRULY need certain drugs, they will (as in my case) literally give you your life back. A lot of people forget many disorders are co-morbid, and you really need to be your own advocate and find a doctor who has your best interests at heart. Before I was prescribed xanex and vyvanse my doctor did a thorough investigation on my drug history and other drugs that had been prescribed to me before writing the scripts. Yes, Hollywood doctors seem to be VERY irresponsible, but while the doctors are culpable so are the patients. It is a patients responsibility to educate themselves if they haven’t been so already by the doctor on what they are putting in their body and why. Ignorance is not an excuse, and people like Lohan have to take responsibility for their actions. Doctors are only part of the problem.

My sister is in an in-patient rehab facility for 9 months. For meth. It’s a private facility and it’s expensive; but my parents feel that if it helps her regain even visitation with my 3 nephews, it’s worth it.
I’m sure the courts could find one to sentence LL to, as well.
With the exception of the dilaudid, everything else Lindsay is prescribed could be legit. Stress and anxiety can absolutely cause acid reflux (my stress messes with my digestive system – yay me), and people with ADD/ADHD have a significantly higher incidence of depression than people without it (the cause can be environmental [ie trouble at school or work due to ADD/ADHD can lead to terrible self-loathing and depression] or genetic [if your brain has trouble with processing in the executive function area it’s not a huge leap to find that it has trouble regulating/processing seratonin,etc.]) HOWEVER, having a legitimate health problem and a legitimate medication to treat it does NOT absolve the patient of their responsibility to take care of themselves and to work towards the management of their illness/disease.
The dilaudid, though? That’s messed up. Obviously we don’t know what her medical history is, but wow, what the hell could justify a MONTH long Rx for something usually used after surgery or for end stage cancer patients? The dilaudid = Addict. IMO. I don’t use that word as a put-down or a slur. I use it factually. Depression and addiction are another frequent team, and getting off the path of destruction takes courage. I really hope she accepts the help that she is being offered and sees the world of opportunity, health and happiness that she could have if she would just take the unknown (to her) path of sobriety.
Those of you who take Kapidex for acid reflux – do you find it works better than Nexium or prescription strength Prevacid? I have killer AR and the Nexium just ain’t cuttin’ it.
I’m a little surprised by the Dilaudid – I went to the oral surgeon today and while I was there, I asked him if he would ever prescribe that for an extraction. He said maybe for extreme surgery, but certainly not for more than a week, absolutely not a 30 day, and he doubts he would ever actually prescribe it (he never has). He said he thinks it would be irresponsible for him to do.

I’ve worked in pharmacy for over 12 years and the people who get jumpy about how many scripts they have are usually the ones who don’t need all that crap. They might honestly need 1 or 2 of the meds they take and the rest are just gravy. It’s the ones who take it in stride or laugh it off that usually really need them.
The fuck?! My 60 year old dad just had a hip replacement and they prescribed him ONE medication. Why does she need to be on FOUR? That’s probably part of her problem right there. Take her off those prescriptions and maybe she’ll be normal for once in her life.
I’m sure no one meant to offend anyone. There is a different between people with legitimate reasons to take medications and someone like Lindsay. People like her make it harder for others to get the medication they need. I mean, she went and got the surgery after she had her scram put on.

Anyone with addiction problems should not be prescribed mood and mind altering substances which are addictive. This girl is clearly in denial that she even has a problem and likely thinks that she’s managing her life just fine, even after being sentenced to jail for 90 days. That’s how we addicts tend to think (yes, I said we). Before I got sober the list of meds she was on was considered an appetizer. She’s needs long term rehab so she can give her mind and body the time to detox and recover and figure out a way to live without multiple substances. I really hope she gets it. Like her or not, she doesn’t deserve to die.

Look at all the children prescibed kiddie cocaine for ADD. They had a 16 year old lad on 60 minutess a few months ago, who had been on that 1 drug since the age of 6. You wanna see the effects long term? incredible! it was like a walking lobotomy, total zombie. Has it helped? It ruins lives.

Who takes Dilaudid for wisdom teeth removal??? What doctor prescribes that? And she’s still taking it a month later? Those extractions are well past the painful stage now. If it’s still painful she should see a real dentist because something is wrong. Dilaudid is one of the strongest painkillers known to man. That’s criminal and that doctor needs his license pulled or at least reprimanded.

Lindsay has said many times she has ADHD in the past i remember reading an article that i think was in vanity fair years ago and she mentioned it. It also is likely that she has anxiety and depression too, which are what the meds she is on are for.
She may have a drug and alcohol problem but that doesn’t mean she has metal heath issue aside for that.

Oh totally. I am sure for those who really have focus issues these drugs are a godsend and I am not talking about them at all. Ever notice how doctors decide you need to take something and give you medications to combat the side effects of the meds they decided you should have? Have ADHD, take Adderall. Can’t sleep because of the Adderall? Take Trazadone. How about – fix the Adderall prescription?
Perhaps an addict should not be using a drug related to meth especially when the world knows she likes her cocaine.
Mrs. Odie 2- Bartenders can be held legally and financially responsibly for any damages for over serving a customer, so yes it is fair doctors should be responsible for over prescribing; especially to known addicts. Yes, it can go to far the other way, just like malpractice suits can change their choice of treatment. Seeing the consequence of irresponsible prescriptions and their responsibility to their patients, should make them more hesitant then review by the FDA. The investigations are relatively easy with the most potent drugs requiring “triple scripts” and descent record cleaning. Most pain doctors are constantly scrutinized anyway.
