I remember reading a few weeks ago that Jesse James struck out with L.A. Ink’s Kat Von D. I’m trying to find a link to verify that, but I think I read it in a sidebar on a gossip magazine and I’d be hard-pressed to find it again. Nonetheless, I thought at the time how Kat was much more James’ speed than the Oscar winning ex wife he cheated on regularly. Fast forward and People is now reporting that James and Kat were seen on a cozy date in Vegas. Is this how Sandra’s people are making sure we know she hasn’t taken the scumbag back? If so, good for her.
The motorcycle mogul, whose divorce from Sandra Bullock was finalized in June, was spotted having dinner with fellow tattoo enthusiast and LA Ink star Kat Von D in Las Vegas Saturday night.
Settling into a table at Palms Casino Resort’s N9NE, the duo didn’t bother spreading out in the oversized booth, but got cozy by sitting right next to each other.
The two shared the restaurant’s signature rock shrimp and classic Caesar salad. They also both enjoyed the filet with a side of asparagus, and drank Fiji water with dinner.
Toward the end of the meal, the duo were spotted holding hands.
They continued holding hands as they left dinner and headed to a black Mercedes that James was driving.
A rep for James had no comment. Calls to Kat Von D’s rep were not returned.

Jesse James and Kat have a lot more in common other than just superficial factors. Kat also has her very own anti-semitic photo scandal, and (allegedly) signed a photo for an ex boss that included a flaming Star of David and the sentiment “burn in hell J-wbag.” She said the handwriting was a “forgery,” although sources claim the handwriting was verified by a specialist. She also defended James’ first known mistress, Michelle McGee, from criticism about her many trashy tattoos, saying “You can’t judge a book by its cover… there has always been a negative stigma surrounding tattoos, especially on women. But to me, it is all about how you carry yourself, and some people carry it differently, I guess. For me, I just want to be a positive example of tattooing.” I have to agree with her on that point that you can’t judge a book. When, you know, the tattoos don’t include swastikas.
I don’t know much about this woman other than the fact that she seems like a decent person in the few clips I’ve seen of her show. How “positive” does she think she comes across though, now that it’s known that she’s with Jesse James? She’s also been linked with Nikki Sixx and Bam Margera, so it’s not like she has the best taste in men. How stupid and desperate do you have to be to fall for James’ pitiful pit bull act after everything that’s been exposed about him? I guess the takeaway here is that James is moving on and we can assume Sandra has too – I hope.

I loved watching Miami Ink so when her show came on I thought it was going to be good, but it was more about herself than the stories behind the people getting inked. Borrrrrring.

Awfully young to have a Muffin Top. Nothing horrible about having one – but don’t wear clothes that display it. Not very attractive.

I used to really like Kat, until you really see her true side and realize she is just a narcissistic woman with self-entitlement issues. She has become a fame whore when she could have clearly stuck to just being an artist. Her show is all about her life, her shopping, her makeup, etc. Fabricated drama for ratings. Then tattoos. She’ll even admit the drama is fake and she doesn’t like it, but doesn’t do anything about it.
She’s clearly in it for the money. I guess its a smart move on her part, but I respect her even less for being associated with Jesse James. I’ll admit they seem like a good match. Just as a side note, I’m tired of Kat referring to her hair as actually hers, when she’s clearly wearing a godd-mn wig.
@Vale – James has this puppy dog act/sad eyes, but he also kind of resembles the pit bull dogs he keeps, which is why I called it a pit bull act. I realize it sounds counter-intuitive and I could have phrased it better.

She’s an idiot, not hard to discern after watching a couple episodes of her show. She lets employees walk all over her, has real problems making decisions both business and personal, and I personally think she’s on something. She always sounds just as if she’s popped a couple Quaaludes or some Darvoset or something. So yes, much more Jesse’s type than Sandra.

I give them a year tops, if this turns into anything. Anyone who has watched TLC’s Miami and LA Ink shows knows that Kat always has to have a man. She moves on to the next in a matter of seconds. She was originally married to a tattoo artist named Oliver (who I believe works here in Dallas). She divorced him, dated some straggly looking rocker named Orbi, then was onto Nikki Sixx almost instantaneously. And somewhere in there she fooled around with a married Bam Margera.
I personally don’t like her. She’s very talented and does stunning work, but after hearing that she sent that anti-Semitic picture to her boss Ami James, who is Jewish and served in the IDF, I lost all personal respect for her. She’s trash. Her and Jesse are a match made in nazi-heaven.

Saw a story this weekend about this, and there was a link to some pictures. If those were just pictures so we could see more of what she looks like, fine, but if the guy in the picture was supposed to be her, with Jesse James, in Vegas this weekend, I don’t know who the guy in the pictures was, but it was not Jesse James.
I hope I live long enough to see these people in their 50’s and 60’s and how awful their skin is going to look. Smooth, youthful skin takes a tattoo well, but once it’s old, wrinkly and all dried up it’ll look like prunes that are going rotten. You won’t even be able to tell what the tattoo was supposed to be. And if they get fat, well there’s another interesting look. If you are young and wondering what the best vocation will be in the future, I predict that it will be tattoo removal. Get your training now.

I liked KVD until her show got stupid, she decided to take voice lessons, undoubtedly to record an album, and she messed up her face with WAY too much plastic surgery. Now, she’s just another Hollywood dumbass.

I’ll still love my tattoos at 50/60, they all mean something very special to me. I’m well aware that they blur with age (I’m not a moron) but I consider myself enough of an adult to be able to deal with that as they will still be special to me. Admittedly I won’t be able to pat myself on the back smugly, but at least I won’t spend my short life sat on the sidelines saying ‘I’m glad I didn’t….’ when I can spend it having new, wonderful experiences and saying ‘I’m glad I did….’

Nursing a hangover I watched back-to-back LA Ink episodes on Sunday and have to say I really like Kat. I think she is beautiful – not everyone could carry off those tattoos but she does. In one of the shows she had blonde hair but I think she looks much nicer with black or this red – stunning! Go Kat!
Why hasn’t anyone invented semi- permanent tats? Could fade after 26 weeks so you can keep your artwork up to date and in style with the century. I’m pretty sure swats went out of style in the 60’s.
They can do it with hair color why not with skin ink? Think of all the extra money getting a tat update every few months could bring.
