Is it unfair to say that Garrett Hedlund has a leopard-print vagina? Perhaps. All I know is that I was taken aback by this W Magazine cover. Garrett and Emma Stone have dual covers for January – they are part of W’s “Generation Now” portfolio (here). Lainey says that Garrett is just green – that he’s unsophisticated in celebrity-stuff, which is how he ends up on the cover of a fashion magazine in leopard-print pants with some kind of faux-vagina. Could be. Whatever the case may be, I kind of like Garrett more because of this cover – it makes it seem like he has a sense of humor about himself. Anyway, PopEater has some excerpts from W, with quotes from both Garrett and Emma:
Golden Globe nominee Emma Stone and ‘TRON: Legacy’ star Garrett Hedlund strike their sultriest poses on the cover of W Magazine’s January issue.
The two actors, who each grace their own solo cover, head up W’s “Who’s Hot” list, which recognizes the talents of the two young actors, as well as a number of remarkable designers and musicians who have made headlines this year.
Stone, who stars as Peter Parker’s love interest Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, tells the magazine she’s glad her looks aren’t her only attribute appreciated by Hollywood. “I would lose my mind if I felt like I had to be something like ‘the pretty girl,'” she says.
Stone, who was nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her starring turn in ‘Easy A’ says of her performance, says sex scenes are difficult. “Simulation of sex is a real workout. We must have done a hundred takes. There was an oxygen take at one point. It took two days. Simulated sex is really fun, but it’s not easy.”
Hedlund, who can be seen in ‘Country Strong’ opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and Leighton Meester, tells the magazine that there was once a time when his acting talents went unappreciated by casting directors.
“I remember the reaction to my first audition,” he says. “I think the phrase was ‘You sucked pond water.'”
Despite the initially negative responses he received, Hedlund says that he’s now equipped to appreciate the curveballs life throws him. “A great amount of good is always evened out by a great amount of bad. I find it’s best to acknowledge that weird balance.”

Emma, as you may remember, got a Golden Globe nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy/Musical. She’s up against people like Angelina Jolie, Annette Bening, and Julianne Moore. Emma tells People Magazine her thoughts on being up against Angelina, and she seems a little bit Brangeloonie: “Let’s just be honest, that’s pretty surreal. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I see her in person. I’m going to freak out when I see anybody in person.” She also told the mag: “It’s insane! I’m still coming to realization that I got nominated. I’m in the state of ‘Oh, My God!’ My mom and dad called and they were on speakerphone and said, ‘We’re proud of you,’ and that was the best. I teared up.” And she’s going to bring her mom as her date! God, I love it when one of these younger girls gets invited to the party. Not as a presenter (there will be a lot of “fashion girls” who get that gig) – but a young talent who is recognized with a nomination. It warms my cold, dark heart.

she looks a lot like the blonde gal from ‘mama mia’, amanda something-or-other.

I’d say “he’s grrrrreat!” but I’m not feelin it.
very handsome face, his outfit is fug tho.
Don’t know who he is and that’s a terrible, bad, fug outfit but I kinda dig his smirk. And I kinda want to straddle him on that chair. Ahem. Anywho, Emma Stone I know and love. And it’s great that she got a nom.
Edit:
brin said “I’d say “he’s grrrrreat!” but I’m not feelin it.” Ha! I love a good pun.
yawn. more faceless “actors” who pretty much all look alike and whose careers will barely last into the sophomore phase. the only one worth paying any attention to is James Franco, unless he tries too hard and ends up the next Vincent Gallo. the rest of these people have about as much star-power as a dead house plant, yet are all touted as the “next big thing” – that is, until the next, next big thing comes along.
He’s a great actor i can’t believe they put him in those pants though, Kaiser your too much LOL on the title.
The stylist for that shoot must have really hated him.
They both deserve attention, they’re breaking away from the pack of others their age.
Good luck to them.
