Earlier, I covered Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ appearance at CinemaCon yesterday. There were even more stars there – like Helen Mirren! She won a Career Achievement Award (like, a lifetime achievement), and I’m sure she thought her little statue was tacky, but she’s too much of a lady to be bitchy about it. So she went to Vegas (side note: I would love to go to Vegas with Helen!) and picked up her award and posed for photos, all while wearing this rather lovely pink dress. I love the way Helen dresses – now. Back in the day, her style was train wreck. But she’s developed a better eye, and she’s almost always age-appropriate yet sexy. I love her in pink too!
And here’s Dame Mirren’s lover Russell Brand. Hm… Russell and Helen, alone in Las Vegas? What could happen?!? Anything and everything.
The star of the new Transformers movie, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, was there as well, She actually went more formal than the event needed. The gown is Kevork Kiledjian. It’s very pretty on her, but she’s one of those girls who could wear a potato sack.

Lots of todays female stars could learn a lesson from the great Helen Mirren.She is one of the most beautiful and classy ladies in Hollywood and she never embarrasses herself in terms of how she dresses nor in the way she behaves in or out of the public eye.
I believe it is neither dowdy or fabulous. It ages her a bit. She has a rockin’ body for her age and she can go just a slight bit less baggish with her clothes than most others her age. Although She is always awesome!
My lower legs are exactly like hers, and there are some no-no’s for thicker ankles: no pale, shimmery hose, ever. Also, be really careful when choosing t-strap sandles, and always go w/a higher heel. I’ve quit complaining about my legs, and instead, am thankful I have strong legs with which to walk!
Dame Helen can do no wrong. Period.
I think Helen looks pretty and age appropriate, but I do not like those shoes with that dress. Russell Brand gives me the oogies, he looks like he’s going to kill you. He has demon eyes.
Helen looks great, except for the open toed shoes. If you wear hose, just stick with closed toed shoes, it looks better.
Love Jason! He is going to be in Game of Thrones on HBO, but only for 2 episodes. I wish he was all the episodes.

I like the dress, but it could be an inch shorter to fall at a slimmer part of her lower leg. Perhaps it’s just the downward camera angle. The colour looks lovely on her (and that can’t be said for everyone) and her handbag is pretty.
The shoes and hose… not so great but not the worst I’ve seen, either.
Dame Helen has a gorgeous figure, and her ankles look pretty decent, even for a woman fifteen years younger than she is. I think Miss Marie is just a bitter self-hater (see her Sean Penn/ScarJo comment re: all “sluts” grow up to be damaged women who regret their past promiscuity)… sorry, but that’s how it reads.
HM is the kind of woman who is so appealing, so sexy at every age she can wear whatever she wants

Helen, helen, helen! What were you thinking! I love your short haircut as I have always thought you look better with short hair – I usually love your clothes – not this time. Perhaps it is the bagginess of the top cross-over thingie – anyway, I think if the top was different, it would look like it fits you better. Good try – and stay away from Russell – I think he is bad for your reputation! !! ha ha

Those colours suit her skin tone to a T. She has such a lovely figure and she knows what styles look good on her. She always looks sexy and elegant. Helen is definitely someone I see as a fashion icon.

Jason Momoa is married to lisa Bonet from the( Cosby Show/ Different World) they have two kids together.
I like the dress, it’s not outstanding but it works well with Helen’s figure. The shoes are okay but I don’t think the ankle strap is very flattering and if the hem of the skirt was a little higher it might make the leg look better. Her ankles look fine in the post about her having her hands and feet prints put down. Perhaps this is a bad ankgle. But god either why shes gorgeous 🙂
