CSI star Marg Helgenberger revealed in a French radio interview that teen singing sensation Justin Bieber was a “brat” on the set of CSI, where he filmed a two episode guest stint that aired in February. I guess we know why Bieber’s character was shot and killed. Helgenberger said that Bieber punched a cake on the craft services table and that he also locked a producer in a closet for some reason.

She says the singer of Never Say Never misbehaved during production of the series!
“I shouldn’t be saying this,” the stunning 52-year-old told an interviewer, “but he was kind of a brat. He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.“
The interview, which aired on Radio station Europe 1 after being taped in front of a live audience in a Paris theater, was also video-taped. And RadarOnline has the footage below!
When first asked about Bieber, Helgenberger rolled her eyes when asked if his role was written just to raise sagging ratings, or because the singer is “truly a good actor.”
“Justin Bieber wasn’t bad bad,” Helgenberger said, visibly surprised by the question. “But he’d never acted before . . . He’s better than you’d think.”

I swear I read about the producer in the closet incident before, but I’m having a hard time locating that story again. (Maybe it was in Mike Walker’s column in the National Enquirer, but I can’t be certain.) Kaiser reminded me of this story she covered of Bieber barking at a staff member on an Australian TV station, “don’t ever f*@&ing touch me again,” so maybe that’s why this story sounded familiar.
The kid is 17 years old. He comes across pretty well in interviews, but he’s arrogant, young and famous and he’s going to be a little pr*ck sometimes. I think it just comes with the territory. It’s telling, though, that we barely heard any diva stories about the Jonas brothers at the height of their fame and there are three of them. (Or four if you count the little one.) Still, if the worst Bieber has done is lock somebody in a closet, punch a cake, get pissy, and flip off some paparazzi that’s relatively minor.

First it was ‘He is only 16’ now it is only because is 17. No he does not come across well in interviews, he has someone there to make sure he looks good with his quotes. That is alright, The Jonas Brothes faded and so will this one. And the excuses for Bieber starts in 3,2,1.
Locking someone in a closet is pretty tame for a 17 year-old and more in line with someone a bit younger than him. I hope he remains that pedestrian and doesn’t start realizing all the crazy things he can do with all of his money.

I’m not a Bieber fan but I believe he had just turned 16 and was just acting like a typical adolescent boy who occasionally act out probably due to body raging hormones. Give the kid a break at least he has the brains not to become a club fixture like all of the other child stars.

Acting like a typical adolescent boy? No, that is just rude manners to go into someone else’s “home”, punch their cake (how idiotic) and play games and lock a producer in a closet. My parents taught me respect where Bieber’s parents lacked in that department. I knew better than to deface someone else’s stuff but I guess with today’s kids, it is just hilarious. Doesn’t sound like the staff was impressed by his brand of comedy.
Why is this a surprise; you make these immature unformed kids stars treat them like they are royalty ensconce them in a fantasy world, and then wonder why they become mountains of hair gel and egotism.
If this behavior equals “acting like a typical adolescent boy” then maybe we need to rethink the way we raise boys because his actions were uncalled for. I can’t stand the “boys will be boys” bs that people throw around when boys act sh*tty as if because they have a penis and balls that makes them incapable of acting like a decent, civilized human being. And I am glad I am not the only one who does not find putting a ball in front of your face very attractive. I always wondered why a singer would want to appear in public like that. I mean I know they do all that dancing to cover for the fact that most of them can’t sing. I know some people don’t think Shakira is a good singer, but I love her and her albums before she tried to conquer the US with that stupid She Wolf crap are very earthy with her actually holding a mic and singing and dancing barefoot.

What in the hell @ Marianne. Something is seriously wrong with your parenting skills if you think a 17 year old should go around “smashing things” and not get punished for it. It’s called destruction of property and it’s against the law.

This isn’t the first time Justin Bieber acted like a brat last week Bieber made headlines when he was late to sit in his seat on an airplane. The flight attendant scolded Bieber, later saying, he “had been acting like a child and would therefore be treated like one.” Last May, the Biebs supposedly swore at the manager of an Australian TV show, and in September he reportedly was almost arrested for throwing a water balloon at a state trooper’s crotch in Maryland if that the “man” his mama raised didn’t do a very good job.
Someone is always revealing he was a brat or very rude. Can’t stand him. In interviews amd his Twitter posts you can tell he’s very arrogant. He seems like a rude, unpleasant person.

He’s a good performer though, I get the Bieber thing. He can sing and dance a hellova lot better than Britney at that age so a lot of little girls have an age appropriate little boy with a deep bluesy voice to crush on.
He’s got some good sides too, his mom who is teaching him he’s a gift to the world (psycho) is at least attempting to teach him a moral or two as well. Story may not end well but we’ll see.

I heard from a friend onset that he was actually WORSE than this. Late to calls, making comments that he was “saving their show,” pouting when given direction. Damn kid, you wanna play in the big leagues, ACT like it. Don’t burn bridges. And Marg Helgenberger didn’t have to do scenes with him to see or hear of his behavior onset. She has no axe to grind, is certainly not “jealous” of him, and just called it like she saw it. Whatever.
And nowhere near a Jonas Bros fan, but I, too, have heard how nice and well mannered they have been. Heard the same about Hanson.
I agree with everyone who says that this behavior wouldn’t be acceptable from a 17 year old female star. And Lucky – what are you talking about? I would argue that men AND women can be sexist, but I don’t think it’s ONLY women, you know? I am in no way a Bieber fan. I saw those episodes and I thought he did a great job acting. He played the evil brat to a tee. I love Marge she would’ve been such a beauty. Her face is so jacked, she’s almost scary to look at.
