Gwen Stefani was decked out as Cinderella for a party at Kate Hudson’s house over the weekend. She looks like a little girl playing dress up, complete with heavily applied blue eyeshadow, bright pink blush and pink lips. I have to give her credit for taking the look as far as she did, with stacks of necklaces, an updo with a tiara and a feather purse. She really went all out and she’s not hanging out of that outfit too much either. Bitch loves her makeup though, and she put it on with a trowel here.
Here’s Zooey Deschanel barely trying. At first I thought she was Duchess Kate in that outfit, but her hair is all teased out and she’s carrying that fake martini. Radar is claiming she’s “dressed as a woman from the 60s.” Hopefully she had someone specific in mind. This looks like one of those “group costumes” where everyone dresses up around some loosely formed theme and it’s hard to tell exactly who they’re supposed to be unless you see all of them together. They look like they’re having a bachelorette party. (Update: Thanks to those of you who pointed out that they’re supposed to be Valley of The Dolls characters!)

Topher Grace either didn’t bother or has a really weak ass costume.
Jessica Alba was a sexy witch. Such a mom costume. Throw on a hat and a wig. It looks like she has a veil with some spiders on it, and she probably tried harder than I’m giving her credit for.
Gwen Stefani owns them all and she knows it. I wonder who her friend is in the hair band costume.

The eye make-up isn’t so bad when he opens her eyes wide, but when they’re half closed it looks over done. The blush is horrendous, but considering how much make-up she wears on a normal basis she probably felt she had to go over the top in order to not look as if it just her normal make-up regime.
This is pushing it but I’m just curious if Gwen’s friend is dressed as the singer from the 80’s band Cinderella?

It seems like Halloween has become just another excuse to dress slutty, so I appreciate that Gwen Stefani didn’t wear an overly sexy costume. She looks cute and she looks like she’s having fun.

Specifically, I kinda think Gwen was going as a Cinderella who works at Disneyland vibe (since she’s from Anaheim). When the princesses are walking around in costumes taking pictures with park visitors, their makeup is downright garish and that’s what I immediately thought of! It might be a specific homage to the park princesses…or “cast members” as they’re called. Lol

Whenever I was at Disney, I didn’t notice any garish makeup. The ones I saw were tastefully done, and I saw a lot of characters.
I find it funny that that’s supposed to be a hunter costume on Casey. I would have just assumed cowboy. Hunting outfits around here don’t even come CLOSE to resembling that. It’s all about the camo and boots and hunter orange around here.
Gwen is not aging well. She’s gotten to that point where you have to choose between your face and your ass, and she’s obviously chosen her ass.
Gwen always looks far younger than her years. I think she’s 42. But she looks bad and old in these photos.
Does Zooeys face look super white to anyone else? I wonder if she did that on purpose, like part of the costume? Maybe its just bad makeup lol.

@Jenny- Since when is there an age limit on what you can be at Halloween? Isn’t the point of a Halloween costume being something you aren’t? It isn’t as if she is dressed as a stupid, slutty, Cinderella with a dress cut to her crotch. It’s one night, not a life time.
I am not even Gwen’s age, but it really irks me when people bring age into everything.

this is kind of directed toward the person that was irritated at someone else for saying they thought that Gwen Stefani was a little old to be dressing up as Cinderella… i gotta say that i agree, but it’s not so much as in the way i think you took it. look, i have a 7yr old and a 5yr old and i have very dark hair and if they wanted me to dress up as Snow White for Halloween, i would. so i can see the easy connection from her to Cinderella-especially since she has kids. and if she was with her kids… but the thing that gives me a slightly icky or weird feeling about it is that this is an ADULT costume party, not a child in sight. and i’m not saying she should have dressed as a slutty Cinderella or anything like that…it’s just…i dont know, it’s hard to put into words…it’s just a weird costume for a 40+yr old woman, on her own, at an adult Halloween party. a princess is kind of a weird costume for anyone over the age of 8… unless you throw in a cool “zombie” twist. see, now THAT would have rocked-and would def. surprised the CRAP outta everyone if she showed up dressed to the nines in that crazy Cinderella ball gown but with really cool zombie make up, and maybe the costume a little tattered up or something.
i’m also agreeing with others-her face is looking a little “off.” i think she probably got some botox recently as prep for the party, so she seems a little tight around the eyes and forehead.
AND, come on guys…. she’s drunk!!!!! no one looks good when they leave a party half buzzed!!! you’re always all smiley and red-faced from the booze. DUH.

Yeah, I agree with the other posters who said Gwen is overdone and looking a bit silly for a 40+++ year old. I don’t notice a huge difference in the amount of make up vs. what she wears on an ordinary day — in either case, it’s a cheap, harsh look.
Oh come on people, the heavy makeup is obviously for the costume. It looks bad, but it’s funny and if there’s one day of the year to “over do” things, then it’s Halloween.

LOL Amanda G – Heavy make up is Gwen’s NORMAL look. The only thing different about the Halloween get-up is the colours and the Cinderella dress.
